Product Details:

Mario and Luigi embark on the adventure of their dreams in a hilarious action RPG that combines the resort world of Pi'illo Island with the wild landscapes of Luigi's imagination, where anything can happen. Meet a host of hilarious characters as you strive to rescue Princess Peach and help Prince Dreambert free his petrified Pi'illo people from the bat-king Antasma's curse.

One Giant Adventure In Two Massive Worlds

One day in the Mushroom Kingdom, a letter arrives from a mysterious Dr. Snoozemore, inviting Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach to Pi'illo Island. A free vacation, from a complete stranger? What could possibly go wrong? Leap into the world of Luigi's dreams - where anything can happen - in this hilarious action RPG.

The Dream World

Welcome To The Dream World

When Luigi naps, a portal to the Dream World appears - and you're plunged into the wild landscapes of Luigi's imagination! In this fantastical land, Mario teams up with Dreamy Luigi, the hero Luigi always knew he could be. Together, Dreamy Luigi and Mario must continue the quest to free the petrified Pi'illo Folk.

Luiginary Works

Interacting with sleeping Luigi in the real world can have a big impact in the Dream World. Sometimes one of these special moves is exactly what you need to get past a seemingly insurmountable obstacle.

Luiginoids

You can never have too many Luigis! A big group of Luigis, called Luiginoids, appears when you interact with Luigi-shaped star constellations in the Dream World. These acrobatic heroes can morph into different shapes to help Mario keep moving.

Luiginary Attacks

Unleash a Luiginary Attack and watch as Mario, Dreamy Luigi, and the Luiginoids pull off some spectacular - and powerful - moves.

Giant Battles

Stretching across both Nintendo 3DS screens, Giant Battles pit the Bros. against gigantic foes in a colossal fight to the finish!

The Real World

Real-World Adventure

To save Princess Peach and the Pi'illo Folk, Mario and Luigi must tackle puzzles and take on enemies in both the real world and the Dream World.

In the real world, the brothers always stick together - and you control them both as they run, jump, and battle their way through ever-changing environments on Pi'illo Island.

Bros. Abilities

Besides their standard abilities such as running and jumping, Mario and Luigi use special bro-based moves to take on any obstacle.

Bros. Attacks

Luckily for Mario and Luigi, they've got a secret weapon: Bros. Attacks. These supercharged moves dish out a huge amount of damage.

To unlock Bros. Attacks, just look for Attack Pieces hidden around each area of Pi'illo Island - find a complete set of ten and you'll get a new Bros. Attack to use in battle. They cost Bro Points, though, so use them wisely!

Meet The Characters

Mario

An invitation to visit Pi'illo Island seems like too good an opportunity to pass up. But Mario's soon called upon to do what he does best: Save the day! This time, he has to battle enemies both in the real world - and the wacky world of Luigi's imagination.

Luigi

When Luigi sleeps on one of the island's stone pillows, a magical portal to the Dream World appears. And in Luigi's dreams, a Dreamy Luigi teams up with Mario. With special attack and dreamy new abilities, this is Luigi as you've never seen him before.

Princess Peach

It wouldn't be a real adventure for Mario and Luigi if Princess Peach didn't end up in trouble! Try as she might to enjoy the trip to Pi'illo Island, she's soon kidnapped by a mysterious force and taken to the Dream World.

Bowser

It wouldn't be the same without Bowser, so it's a good thing he turns up to Pi'illo Island, too - univited, of course. He's pretty peeved when he finds out someone else has kidnapped Princess Peach!

Prince Dreambert

Prince Dreambert is the prince of the trapped Pi'illo Folk. He needs Mario and Luigi's help to save his people from a stony fate as petrified pillows.

Antasma

This evil bat king was once trapped in the Dream World by the Pi'illo Folk but he used the last of his power to turn the Pi'illo folk into petrified pillows. Now he's back and ready to take revenge on those who sealed him away.

Features:

  • Spawn hundreds of Luigis that mold into different forms like bouncy towers, wrecking balls and giant hammers for special attacks or to pass obstacles.
  • Poke, tickle and move a sleeping Luigi on the lower touch screen to alter the dream world on the upper screen.
  • Master two worlds by switching between controlling both brothers when battling in the real world and controlling Mario and an army of Luigis in dream-world battles.
  • With the Nintendo 3DS system turned sideways like a book, experience larger-than-life Giant Battles with a gargantuan-size Luigi on one screen and the enemy on the other screen.
  • Find new items and gear to customize Mario & Luigi to fit your play style.
  • To help players through the adventure, the game offers various support features, like a Hint System that offers tips on surviving a particular engagement, or an Easy Mode to make a particular battle easier.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is amazing not on graphics but on mechanics. The game is great, but I'm not pointing to just the graphics. I'm talking about battle mechanics too

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This game is great. I honestly did not expect much of this game. It came pre-installed on my Mario & Luigi themed 3DS, and it was a nice addition, but not the specific reason I got that system. I love the Mario Bros games, they're a classic, but in recent years they all seemed repetitive to me, so I didn't really think I would love this game. Boy oh boy, was I wrong. I started playing the game as soon as I got my DS because it was already on it, but soon enough I was hooked. The graphics of the game are so amazing, sharp and colorful and just fun to look at. The story line is great and keeps developing, and the game-play is fun, the characters develop as you go, and as you collect pieces the characters learn more moves. I also like that Luigi has a more substantial role in this game. The only thing I disliked about the game is the long tutorials/explains, lots of talking. But aside from that, this game is just awesome, I would definitely recommend it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Pretty Good Game! One of my favorite aspects of the game are its gorgeous graphics. I just can't keep my eyes off of the stunning scenery, and the soundtrack is pretty and dreamy. Actually, I think this game captures the dreamy vibe perfectly! Especially with the Luiginary methods you get to use later on.Though, I HAVE noticed that it isn't quite as challenging as, for example, Bowser's Inside Story. The puzzles aren't as clever, and the storyline is pretty straightforward. However, the battles are VERY tricky. You really have to pay attention to the enemies' attacks or you'll get beaten to a pulp. Plus, the item restorers are more expensive. I personally think this builds a better strategy when it comes to battling. Overall, I'd say this game is simpler than the other games in the series, yet a whole new concept! Honestly, Nintendo never fails to impress me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Game!! A very good game, I just got the game and so far i am on my 3ds all day playing. I like the story and the gameplay mechanics are just lovely. I think that any gamer can enjoy but in my opinion kid gamers would have a better experience with this one. So overall Mario and Luigi: Dream Team is a must have for the Nintendo 3ds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing. This game is amazing on so many levels. It is perfect in every aspect. The bosses, the graphics, the gameplay, everything is amazing. If you don't have this game, and have a 3DS and $40, stop reading this and GO BUY IT. NOW. This game is awesome, the end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over 40 hours of Fun This is a very fun game that will keep you on the 3DS for a while. At first when I was considering buying this I wasn't sure. But I am really glad that I bought this! It reminds me so much of how fun M&L:BIS was, and thankfully has characters returning from it. I agree, it does have a truck-load of tutorials in places where you ought'a just figure it out yourself, but overall, I would recommend this to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun , awesome game It's the greatest game I've played so far! I've never been so exited about a game since I was 10. I can't say what I like best about this game but what I can say is that I highly recommend buying this game ... that is if you like RPG games.
