Product Details:

Luigi is back on a mission to remove a bunch of stubborn ghosts from some spooky mansions. Armed with his trusty Poltergust ghost-sucking vacuum cleaner, Mario's brother takes center stage to capture these pesky phantoms.

  • Shining a light on the ghosts is no longer enough to stun them into immobility. Players need to activate a strobe function and release it to stun the ghosts before sucking them up with the Poltergust.
  • Different types of ghosts haunt the different mansions. Luigi must figure out how to defeat each one of them and find hidden secrets to unlock new areas and treasure chests. These new elements add more variety and introduce new puzzle-solving mechanics.
  • Players can use the Poltergust to help Luigi remove wallpaper to reveal hidden areas, clean up piles of treasure-hiding leaves or suck up stacks of coins and bills. But in reality, the nervous and reluctant Luigi just wants to get as far away from these ghosts as possible.
  • The 3D visuals bring the mansions, ghosts and surroundings to life. Players experience all the haunting chills and fun the game has to offer.
  • This game is the first follow-up to the 2001 Nintendo GameCube launch title Luigi's Mansion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unique and Worthwhile The first Luigi's Mansion is a great game and the sequel just adds to the greatness. Nintendo did Luigi justice by not only giving him his own game but one that's actually fun. Luigi fans will love this game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is a worthy sequel Luigi's Mansion 2 was a game I wasn't too sure of when I heard about it. I was sure that this game wouldn't take the series in the wrong direction. To my surprise this game is one that I think is the best sequel to a game out there. The gameplay was near flawless and the only issue I had with it was learning how to play the game, but when I got the hang of the controls it was smooth sailing from there. This game looks and sounds like a Luigi's Mansion game SHOULD. The only other problem I had with the game was that the replay value wasn't very high for me. Final Score 8/10 It's a great game to add to your collection, just don't expect to go back to it after you beat it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its Okay I was a big fan of the original Luigis Mansion. And this game was ok, But it lacked the scary atmosphere that I loved in the Original game. But the game is good but if you compare it to the Original its Not as good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Differences This game is so cool than the first game. But there are a lot of difference from these two games. When luigi walks around the mansion in the first game he usually hums but in this game he does not usually so that. The ghost are different. The bosses are hard. Luigi did cry when Mario was out of the painting in the first game but not in this. This game is really better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but a little too easy Since I've been seeing this game on commercials and in magazines, and pretty much everywhere, I decided to buy it and try it out. Granted I'm not too far into the game, I can already tell the whole thing is going to turn out to be more of a puzzle game (finding hidden coins, keys, etc.) than an action-sorta game. I wish they would've had some kind of difficulty option to choose from when you create a new save file. -- On the other hand, the game is relatively fun to play. Sometimes the controls confuse me, (i'll press the right bumper instead of the left one because I'm too focused on pressing like, 3 other buttons) but other than that, it's not that bad of a game. I recommend it to anyone who wants a puzzle/brain/strategy type game. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Indeed, Year of Luigi! What a great game and sequel to another successful title: Luigi's Mansion. However Dark Moon really took the original game to another dimension. You get to discover more mansions, a more easier way to control luigi and his poltergeist 3000 plus challenging boss battles, Kudos Nintendo! U did it again!
