Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing game Love this game!! So addicting I have not been able to put it down. It's a little hard at times. You can decorate your area which is neat. And has multiple characters to pick from as well as great songs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So fun! This game is really weird but so fun. I have no rhythm at all, so it's challenging. When I play the hard mode, I completely mess it up, but it's wildly entertaining! I'd never heard of the series before, and man, I'm glad that I did now. The concept is wildly simple and consists of literally just tapping a button or the screen at the right time in game mode. There are other things to do which passes time, but I can take that or leave it. I just like trying to up my score. I'm sorry I missed out on the launch edition, though. I ordered another copy of that version from another seller at an inflated price. This is going to be a cult classic!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Suprised! I honestly thought this game would just have songs and a dress up mode. But holy carp was I wrong. Your not really given a tutorial at all, you just explore and figure out stuff as you go on (which I love!). You get to play 48 frickin' songs (that's a lot), totally worth $40 right there. If you aren't familiar with the series, its like Japan's vocaloid companies made a guitar hero game for portable game consoles. So yea, but you also get to dress up, and there isn't just miku to hand around with, there are all of these other vocaloid "artists" that you can do everything with. You can go shopping for snack (which when they eat them, its adorable), you can go shopping for new building items and clothes. There are mini games, and best of all A LEGIT MUSIC PLAYER! You can listen to all of the songs (that you unlocked) with your headphones while the 3DS IS SLEEPING, IN YOUR POCKET, LIKE A PHONE. :O (I know super smash did this, but I was really happy that this game did the same thing.) You can do a bunch of other stuff too, that I haven't even gotten into yet. This game is extremely more extensive than you'd think. There is even VOICE COMMANDS with the 3ds microphone, that is actually pretty good. The only few gripes I have with this is that Miku and all of the other people don't talk at all, they just stand there or do cute stuff. Which is very explainable, considering no one has heard these vocaloids actually talk normally. But the characters kinda feel dead at times when you just navigating to the menu and saying voice commands. But other than that, if your an anime/vocaloid fan AT ALL with a 3ds, GET THIS GAME NOW!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Rhythm Game isn't even the half of it! This is the third western release of one of the Miku games and this time it's on the 3DS! If you've played any of the previous games (F or F 2nd) then this one should definitely be in your collection as well. First off, the character models and design for the whole game has changed (for this series only) to more closely resemble GoodSmile's Nendroid collection which is undeniably cute, you'll definitely get a sweet tooth playing this game. But aside from that the core rhythm game mechanic stays relatively the same to what it has been before, making use of the D-Pad and the four action buttons (as well as the touch screen which is optional) plus they've added a new playing style, the 'touch mode' which makes ample use of the dual screen of the 3ds by having buttons to tap and swipe in time with the music (plus this mode is very simple for even the most casual gamers to enjoy) and while the difficulty level isn't quite up to par with the previous project diva games, it still has several songs which provide a decent challenge. But then outside of the rhythm game is your 'diva room' aspect which plays somewhat similar to tomodachi life, where you can pick one of the vocaloid characters featured in the game to dress up, choose an apartment and decorate, take on vacations, and play reversi with. There's even a piano mode that lets you create small tunes using various instruments including the vocaloid's voices as well! Plus you have the deck of AR cards which is always a treat to mess with, making use of the 3D camera on the DS, as well as a dance studio where you can choreograph a dance for any vocaloid using a large catalog of moves! And on top of everything, they even decided to throw in a local play version of Puyo pop just for fun. This game is JAM PACKED with all sorts of material aside from the original 48 full length songs in the rhythm game (which can be played on a built in mp3 as well) and if you take one look at this game and even for a moment think about purchasing it, i promise you will not be disappointed if you do. More than worth the price tag on this game, you will be playing it for months to come!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun for fans. It's a fun game for VOCALOID fans. As I've loved them since I was 12 I enjoyed seeing older songs like Daughter/Servant of Evil, Kokoro (surprised at the lack of Kiseki as its the partner song), Reverse Rainbow and so on. There's little side things to do like Go with whoever is the "partner" at the time, a little bubble pop sort of game, and many other little things. While there is plenty of cutesy things to do, the appeal can drop after all songs are finished though unlocking items through doing harder levels could make it worth it to continue. In the end, I just wish it had a few more songs and a bit of a bigger role for Gumi.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great buy if you enjoy rhythm based games I unlocked all the songs within a day, of consecutive playing. I enjoy the fact that there are more things to do instead of playing the rhythm game. You can play a mini game with the Vocaloids, give them snacks (food and drink), and give them an allowance (which they will purchase things with!) You will enjoy trying to get perfect scores on the songs. Good for people who enjoy challenges in games. Also, you can go in the play settings (by pressing L on a song) and you can modify your game play. I personally like to change the sounds each button makes, add items, or change the speed of the game play (the song's speed remains the same, but you have to react faster to each button). Even if you've never played the series, this game is simple enough for you to understand. You would just have to practice and get used to the game play. The game's sound is good, just if you would like it to be a bit louder, you would need to use headphones. This would be an ideal game to play with a group of friends, passing it around and possibly trying to beat each other's scores, keeping count on a paper. On another note, some songs can unlock a harder difficulty, which is called Max Super Hard. You have to pass with an S score, Above 85%. Hard is hard as it is, if this is your first time playing the series. I recommend this title for any players of Project Diva on the Ps3 and Ps Vita. I hope my review helped and have a nice day! :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic, Energizing, Fun!!! I've never played any previous vocaloid games but I've listened to the music for quite some time. Let me just start out with saying... I had about average hopes this game would be fun, and it totally blew my expectations right out of the water. The colors are bright but not overly so. The visuals are adorable (as to be expected of a chibi theme) and the sound quality and music are sooo so amazing. I play A LOT of rhythm games and I have to say that this one plays VERY well on all difficulties. You actually worry less about hitting the notes because it's so easy to get into the flow of the music, even if you don't know the song. It's fun, easy to follow, and unlike other rhythm games I've played, this one doesn't put me to sleep as I'm hitting notes. My eyes tend to get tired of that but I played this game for like 4 hours straight as soon as I got it and never once did I get tired or disoriented. I was also pleasantly surprised to see there were a couple of mini games to play with your vocaloid of choice, as well as buying them outfits, interiors and even furniture for them to wear. You can feed them as well as edit the dances to songs you've played. I really adore everything about this game and I am pleasantly surprised to find it has over 40 some songs. All in all, brilliant music, sound quality, graphics and everything! I only rated the lasting appeal an 8/10 because I think it depends on the player and if you'd get bored of repeating certain songs once you've played them all. Beyond that? I think it has high replayability for most people. :)
