Product Details:

Harness the power of the ultimate weapon! Inspired by the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures' superhero feature film Green Lantern, Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters soars onto game consoles this summer, extending the theatrical experience of one of DC Entertainment's most popular superheroes. Playing as gifted pilot Hal Jordan, the first human Green Lantern, gamers will create an arsenal of ring constructs and take flight in outer space and beyond to restore intergalactic order. Players will use the Power Ring to build an array of weapons from green energy to defeat the Manhunters - an evil android race bent on destroying the Green Lantern Corps.

  • The Nintendo 3DS version of the game is designed specifically to take advantage of the system's stereoscopic 3D capabilities and delivers multi-plane graphics that delve players further into the Green Lantern universe.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from What is expected. Im not gonna sugarcoat it, this game isn't all that great. That being said it isn't that bad either. This is one of those games that you dont mind playing, but its not on your top 20 games of all time or maybe even close. The storyline wasn't bad but had some holes in it. The gameplay is fun and so is the moves list, however, the moves do lag at times. Grahpics werent bad mixing, 3D with cartoon. The sound was pretty good, but nothing special. In the end the game doesnt have too much replay value, but is a game I pick up and play from time to time, but not really for extended periods of time. Its not bad for a $5 buy, but dont spend anymore on it because it'll be a waste.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This just sucked...... Everything about it sucks. Sound was decent but the graphics were cruddy, it lags in multiplayer, controls are reacted to slowly, the storyline didn't make any sense. I would strongly reccomend you don't buy it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh This game is great, if it was five dollars. When I started playing it I thought it was average. But my second time playing it, it was boring, it's really just mashing the shoot or pound buttons. This game is very laggy. If you cant find a game to get, look for normal DS games.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nothing Amazing but..... certainly not a game that you should pass up just because the subject is based on the movie. After playing the game for about 4 hours i have progressed quite far and have found that the combat in the game is not just a beat them up spam the one button. you can attack and mid attack jump up and do a ground pound or place a shield around you can even fire guns. this added to the exp system gives you something to strive for as you play through the levels, which look really good. However there are some short falls, while the dialogue is quite funny the story to me felt kinda watered down and i found myself forgetting whats going on, and in places the game has a slight lag to it if to much is going on at once which happens alot but not exactly to the point of making the game unplayable. Over all i would call this one a buy when its pre-owned so you don't waste your money if you end up not liking it, but chances are good you'll at least enjoy your time spent chucking hard light around.
