Fire Emblem Awakening is Amazing
Fire Emblem Awakening is by far the best Fire Emblem game i have ever played. It has a great story, graphics, and loads of content even after beating the game you have couple of options like trying out the DLC and playing the unlocked difficulty Lunatic+.
Best RPG for 3DS yet!
This is my first game for my 3DS XL and I love it! I'm a person who likes Anime and such so I love the art style and the cut scenes are GREAT in 3-D! I'm glad I got this game! I WOULD GET THIS GAME NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREDY! :D You won't be disappointed!.....well, if you don't like anime art style and RPGs then STILL GET THIS GAME ANYWAY! There will be sadness in this game and also surprises but FYI their feet look like hoofs of a horse...idk why but oh well the game is still great!
I've played it, and you will all ENJOY it.
I know enough Japanese to read the plot and all of the immense character development done in supports. And all of the spoiler related features that will just immerse you in the story and never let go.
This game will take your heart, soul, AND your wallet with the DLC. It's a long game you will enjoy, and the DLC makes it even longer. The My Unit/Avatar feature makes you a part of the entire experience. I can admit that this game made me cry on one chapter. The entire atmosphere created with the music and the emotions of the characters was that intense.
This game, without a doubt is the most polished out of the entire Fire Emblem series released so far. It blows every single one of them out of the water. The gameplay, the music, and the characters. And hey, you don't agree with that? You have the option of recruiting old Fire Emblem characters through Spotpass. (yes, FREE). Got a favorite game from the series? This game is FULL of references to every single member of the series, even the Japanese exclusive ones.
Get hyped, the rest of the world. Because this game didn't sell out 200,000+ copies on its first week in Japan for nothing.
One of the best Fire Emblem games
I have played multiple titles in the Fire Emblem series. And this one, in my opinion, is one of the best. Enticing gameplay, a deep storyline, pretty graphics, well composed BGM, and a fun combat style! I love the character designs, and the support conversations are really fun. The only little peeve I have with the game is that I wish that the 3D sprites were a little less 'rough' looking. There's slight glitches with the 3D models where like the hair of the character will go through the clothes, or other peculiar little glitches. They're hardly noticeable and won't diminish the game experience. Overall, I give this an easy 10/10.
The BEST GAME EVER
This is an incredible strategy game with tons to do, heck i would pay 50$ or even 60$ for this game. Everything was nicely done and came together perfectly.I enjoyed every minute of it. Best Fire Emblem hands down, buy it now.
Best game for the 3DS to date!
I was hesitant about getting this game at first but then I read the IGN and Gameinformer reviews and I knew I had to get it. The shipping was delayed so I was disappointed but I didn't give up and I finally found it. IT WAS WORTH THE SEARCH AND EVERY CENT I PAID FOR IT. This game just took my breath always, knocked my socks off, and blown my brains. IT IS AMAZING! When I picked it up I could not put it down. My only complaint is that it is too addicting, just kidding, it's not a complaint.
A game I thought I'd be returning
So as the title says I bought Fire Emblem Awakening thinking I'd play it and probably not like it and return it for credit in a few days. I couldn't have been more off. Turned in a few old DS games and just looked for a game to hold me over before the release of some games coming out in a few months. Played the first hour I restarted and put the game in casual because I didn't want to lose these characters that I started to like because hey, this is my first FE game. As I told a friend this game is like Risk, but makes you give a darn about the soldiers. So I continued my play-through and some areas were tough and you couldn't use the same strategy that you used in another fight. The battling was epic though, when you start Frederick is big time OP, but by the end if you don't know about all the in-depth stuff like using a Second Seal to add on more stats by re leveling like me Frederick will be getting the stuff kicked out of him towards the end, but that just added to the value.
Though now the reasons I thought FE Awakening would be back at Gamestop by now. Recently turn base RPGs series (FF) have been really bad as of late in my opinion. When I first got into gaming Final Fantasy was my first game/ series to get into and thus making me a huge RPG fan. Though with FF13 (Final Fantasy: Hallways) and how the original release of FF14 and Bravely Default (which I thought was a regurgitated cruddy FF game with chibi (is that what it's called?) graphics and I always seem to get a lot of hate for my view) had pushed me away from Turn Based RPG and towards real time RPGs like the "Tales of" series that I am a hard core fan of now. FE has reeled me back in Turn Base combat and have me saying "Do you see this Turn Base combat system Square Enix? You should because it's putting yours to shame!"
The story which I have always felt is vital to any RPG was great for making the lasting appeal high (plus the gameplay itself) for a newcomer like myself. While some veteran players of the FE series may have been not as impressed, I was and some of the plot twists and the way the story was presented had me impressed. Only four games have done that for me: Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, Final Fantasy 10, Tales of Xillia, and Fire Emblem Awakening. Anyway I'm not going to go much more in depth than this so my final verdict: the game is awesome and earned all the credit it has been given. Few RPGs can claim that their story, gameplay, AND combat system are all very strong and balance great with each other and FE does so if you haven't got Fire Emblem Awakening and RPGs are your thing get it. You probably aren't going to be returning this game at least that's what I found out the fun way.
One of THE most Spectacular Games on the 3DS
If you own a 3DS, this game is a MUST HAVE. The story is truly amazing. Oh my. Shocking, heart-wrenching, and touching. Remember, this is a strategy game. If you're looking for a button-mashing, free-for-all... This isn't for you, sadly. This game requires you to use all of your brainpower if you intend for all your units to survive. There are numerous side-quests and extras. I don't know how many times I played through this game now. SIGH. Let's not forget the comic relief. I spend hours after hours on the game just to unlock the extra conversations. Yeah, I'm a huge fan of the fire emblem series now. This game is truly amazing. Maybe I'll go buy the older games now...
