My 1st 3DS game and it's SICK!!!
I got my 1st 3DS-XL and I bought Fire Emblem over Luigi's Mansion. Best move yet. I will get Luigi's soon but man it's going to be hard for any game to match Fire Emblem, it has raised my expectations to new heights. The story is amazing, graphics incredible and game play epic. I can't think of any reason why you shouldn't buy this game.

Favorite 3ds game
Fire Emblem awakening is by far my favorite 3ds game (oh wait, I already said that) and it is one of the best. This was the first Fire Emblem game I completed, and I had a blast doing it. Story: In one word to describe Fire Emblem awakening, I would use "choices". You choose how your character will look, you choose where to attack, you choose who you will marry (that's optional by the way), you choose what will happen. There's just so many choices. :) There are some great twists, storytelling, and many more things in this game. Presentation: The presentation is just one of the best, there's sprite artwork for the overworld, 3d character models in battle, and it just meshes together really well. Even if you don't like to play 3ds in 3d, play this game in 3d, hands down it's the best looking in 3d (only rivaled by RE Revelations, and KH 3d.) The soundtrack is amazing as well, it just fits every situation nicely. The only thing I can say that annoys me are the grunts and growls in the cutscenes, while a nice touch, they get a bit repetitive sometimes. If it was full on voice acting though....... Gameplay: Gameplay wise, this is a strategy RPG (like risk, but with more depth and "fun" to it.) You choose where your ccharacters go, then your enemies, this will go on until the battle ends (I know I made it sound boring, but it's actually not.) You can choose your difficulty, either permadeath or Casual mode (non permadeath *preferred for newcomers*). Each Character has a story that you can find out through support conversations, these support conversations go from C-S rank (only S rank in opposite gender conversations though.) When you reach S rank you then Marry that person (no bigamy*PERIOD*) It's a really neat feature, and it ups the anti in the replay value section. Honestly, to explain all the gameplay in depth would take hours, so play it for yourself.Replay Value: As mentioned replay value is important to this game (it's not necessary, but it makes the game more than it's worth.) You can ,marry someone else in another playthrough, change your gender for a playthrough to see those support conversations, get all the children allies, play the DLC maps (*GASP* DLC). Okay, I guess I have to explain, there are a ton of DLC maps in FE awakening They are very unique and they add even more to the replay value *note* before you all go complaining about having to buy dlc, it's OPTIONAL, but recommended. You can earn easier EXP, more gold, etc. You can also replay all these maps at any time (duh), so don't worry. Overall, Fire Emblem is a masterpiece that is highly recommended to the newcomers, fans of the series, or hey maybe even someone who likes the board game Risk (you never know). Fire Emblem Awakening gets a 9.8/10 a near perfect game that's truly a gem in anyone's collection. I'm KHaceattorney, and I'll see you in the next one.

Best on the 3DS.
This is definitely one of the best handheld games ever. It's probably my favorite since the old Pokemon games. Before I got this game, I had already played the demo and I read all the high ratings, but I hadn't expected it to be as outstanding as it really is. I started out by customizing my own character. There aren't that many options, but I ended up with a character that I really like. The gameplay is great. I love how the strategy works. It's like playing chess, but a million times cooler. Even the short 3D battle clips that play during a fight are epic. There are so many characters that you meet along the way, each with a unique class with a set of weapons and abilities. You encounter mages, shape-shifters, wyvern-riding evil knights, and all kinds of good stuff. Each level is different, with a story behind it. Unlike a lot of other games, the story is so interesting. The soundtrack and the sound effects are brilliant, and the anime cutscenes look spectacular in 3D. This is one of those games that should deserve more than a ten out of ten. I gave it straight tens because there is nothing in the game that bothers me at all. I thought it was a little weird at first that they don't appear to have feet, but who really cares! This game is awesome! This is a must-have for anyone who owns a 3DS.

My First - far from last - "Fire Emblem."
I can't tell you how long I've shrugged off learning anything about Fire Emblem, but now it's one of my favorite game series! Naming only a few great games, Persona 3 Portable, Dragon Age: Origins, Final Fantasy VII, and much much more, Fire Emblem: Awakening easily ranks among the best games I've ever played. The funny thing to is that, having done even more research, all the other Fire Emblems are 9.5-10 ratings also! The gameplay is addictive, story easily hooks you, reeling you in like a fish from start to finish, lasting appeal is ridiculous and the graphics... aren't really impressive - however made up for by everything else to the point where I'd still give it a perfect 10! #1 most under-hyped game I've personally ever played/series I've ever heard of. I wish I could go into all the aspects to make you understand why it's great, but that'd take forever. We're talking clothes looking different when upgrading to an advanced class, world map, fun battle system, amazing, intense, engaging story, loyalty/friendship missions, and so many companions it's crazy. Haven't felt this crazy about a game in a long time - makes me remember why I'm a gamer.

Favorite 3DS Game Yet
-Graphics- Jeez! This game has great graphics! There are 3 art styles. The map and battlefield are made of nice sprites, BUT when you attack an enemy BAM! Full 3D epic battles! The same happens when you heal an ally. Drawn models display text for dialogue. A small annoyance is when people start a new line of text the make a sound instead of full voice acting. A shame too because the voice actors are good. -Sound- This game has a great soundtrack and great voice acting. I already explained what annoys me in sound, but it's great overall. -Gameplay- The gameplay is awesome! You move units to spaces and attack enemy units until the enemies' army is gone. Sounds simple, but there are a ton of easy-to-understand gameplay mechanics that vary how you think out your tactics. Such as archers can only attack 2 spaces away, the weapon triangle (Sword > Axe Lance > Sword and Axe > Lance) Also you can create your own character that has a vital importance to the story. You can choose your units strongest stat, your units weakest stat, and what class your unit can be after you get past level 10. After battles you can build support between units, (some units can get married) you can go to shops and do streetpass stuff. -Lasting appeal- This game has tons of stuff to do, tons of unique and likable characters to get and theres DLC. So you'll be playing this for a looooong time. (BTW if you seem interested there is a demo on the nintendo E-shop.)

STRATEGY.RPG.MUSIC.GRAPHICS.AWESOME!
Amazing.I love this game! The plot is great. The characters are memorable. The DLC will take your money. This game....This game is by far better than any other game I own on a 3DS. The music is amazing and can be emotional at certain parts. MANY, characters to get and with the marriage system even more and they can be raised to be gods if you get abilities for the parents and they have a child (depends on mother and certain characters.) who will take some of their abilities meaning you can make godly characters and you can have EVEN MORE GODLY characters. The graphics are pretty nice and not all the characters look like the generic blue because they ave exclusive designs such as a character named Owain who has a yellow myrmidon robe and has an exclusive sprite as a myrmidon but only keeps the yellow as a swordmaster. The DLC will take your money. It gives you characters from past games and they are more powerful than their spotpass incarnations might be and two DLC chapters give you two new classes, the Dread fighter (Demon fighter in japan) who likes like an armored ninja with a red aura around them and can use swords, axes, and tomes, while the other is the Bride class which looks like exactly what it sounds like and uses a somewhat odd weapon set which is lances, bows, and staves. The content is great and I think almost every 3DS owner should have this and a nice feature is the new avatar, a character that has a very significant role in the plot that you make.
