Overall, it's a great game. You should play Battle mode (one on one) for at least 30 minutes before you play Story Mode. You need to get used to the control and buttons. Once you get it. It's really fun. Make sure you use signature moves (up, down, left, right + Y button). Go to their facebook site, there are a lot of good tips and fan discussions.

If you ever wanted a smash bros game but with different characters other than nintendo, then this is the game. The gameplay feels exactly like smash but in my opinion movement control of the character is even better. Every character has their unique traits, speed, attacks, movement, so you can find a character that matches your style of gameplay. The graphics are right at the top of 3ds games, it has a lot of detail and animating stuff going on which some 3ds games do not. The music matches each cartoon level you play in and the end song on credits is hilarious. The game in general has a lot of the CN charm and funny stuff. The story mode is really good with a great story behind it and i cant stop playing the multiplayer battle mode. when friends come over thats all we do is battle it up against each other. I havnt put this game down since i got it. Get this is game if you like smash bros type of game and want a great story mode as well!
Rated 9 out of 10 by Veirstorm Best Dang Cartoon Network Game EVER!
Despite the fact the game was as hard to find as Rhythm Theif and The Emperors Treasure due to my location, this game was frackin' awesome. I was born in the mid 90's and was raised on most of these Cartoon Network characters and the nostalgia nearly overwhelmed me. Even though the only person who really talks in the game is the narrator and voice over guy, the characters have little quips for when they get KO'd or win a battle. Slightly disappointing though, most of the voices for the characters were done by 6 people, so you can imagine my rage/bummed outness/confusion when Buttercup and Blossom sounded completely different. However, they fixed that issue with the re-release for other consoles. The controls are so similar to Super Smash Bros. that one wouldn't really have to adapt to anything. The battlefields are designed directly after the characters' corresponding shows and many items in the game are from more than just the characters' shows. Hopefully they release a sequel in the future so I can whip Finn or Jake's butt as Buttercup.

well i heard about this game on the internet and i wanted to get it i just was embaressed to go to gamestop and buy this. So Then I get the game and it was not good at all the cartoonetwork characters don't even sound like on the tv shows and there is very little amounts of arenas. Some of the arenas don't have anything special just the fact that its from one of the cartoonetwork characters world. The graphics are okay nothing special and the 3d again was nothing special but when you did a special attack with the 3d it was mind blowing. The story mode was a bummer it was just a story about a world mix up and the last boss was stupid. I heard there was something about this game being on the wii and xbox and ps3 don't waste your time on this game waste your time on these games below

Hmm, I don't know if this game is going to be good or not. On one hand, it looks promising to bring our favorite cartoon network characters in a smash bros esque party game for nostalgic cartoon network watchers and for the kids. On the other hand, it looks like it's another smash bros esque cheap cash in (like TMNT Smash up). Because it doesn't have the original voice cast, even the recent ones! On the one hand, they have the % damage gauge with final smashes (right out of smash bros and smash bros brawl) and not the hp gague (like TMNT Smash up), and that's good. On the other hand, the combat doesn't look as solid as Smash bros Brawl. Could it be good? Or could it be awful? It's your choice.

If your looking for a portable Smash Brothers then this is the game for you. This game really comes really close to putting the Smash Brother experience to the 3DS with some classic Cartoon Network characters. The best part about this game is it's story mode. The battle mode is just as fun and addicting as Smash. The bad thing about this game is the way you have to unlock characters in battle mode. You have to win a certain amount of battles to unlock a character.I recommend fans of Cartoon Network and Super Smash Brothers to pick up it game. I can't wait for the console version.
Rated 1 out of 10 by phoenixpha It Looks Fun, But...
This game was being compared to Super Smash with Cartoon Network characters. It said it would have 18 fighters and that they'd all be different.
It DID NOT live up to expectations. It has a story mode that lasts about 2 hours, during which you unlock all characters. It was so short that i couldnt believe this was actually a full game. There is NO replay value unless you plan to spend hours doing WiFi matches which unlock nothing. The characters get old quickly and some are way too similar.
Youre better off buying a different 3DS game...any other one.

This game was really good, if you like cartoon network games then I would recommend this game to you!! Even though people say that this game is like brawl, it's not really! The fighting style is similar, like there's a final smash, charged smashes and a damage meter as well. Also there is a story mode that's kind of similar to the sub space emissar, also there is assist trophies but in this game their in a box that's zebra striped. So if you liked brawl you will enjoy this game, especially if you like Cartoon Network!!!!
Rated 8 out of 10 by MrL234 Great game...For a while
I was so excitied to get this game when I finally got a 3DS. I played the game day after day, more than 3 hours a for two weeks. But than I realized, that there were hardly anything to do on the game. All you can do is Story mode [finished it in three days] and Battle mode. It is highly based off of Brawl, but it is missing somethings big and important. I would say this is a good game to get, if you are planning to get a new game in a few weeks.
Rated 6 out of 10 by ToXicG00 I...Am...Disappointed :(
The game is fun and all but story mode goes by too fast and the characters don't even sound like they do on tv. Like chowder (BTY love chowder) sounds like some other kid iv heard before. samurai jack (my all time favorite.) it was just disappointing. Son Nintendo and Cartoon Network remake this game with the correct sound and voices improve the graphics and make story mode MUCH longer and more difficult... before SSBB comes out to 3ds.
