Since I'm the type of person who usually doesn't need a case for electronics because of my ability to keep them in great condition on my own, I did not buy a case for my 3DS right away. It's been a few months since I've purchased the system, and I've had my eye on this one for a while. It looks nice and it's only 14.99 with the addition of the two large pen-like styluses. I don't even care about those. But if you want a nice looking case with two pens, which is the same price as the plain black case alone, I'd say go with this one. You can even hold three games, so it's good for traveling. I feel much better knowing that my system is safe in a well-designed, not bulky or distracting case. If you are a kid, you might want one of the more colorful ones, but this one will apeal to all adults.

First things first, the pens are nice, feel comfortable and serve their purpose. They have a button on the top to retract the stylus part BUT the "clip part" is sealed so you can't actually clip it anywhere.

The case where you put your 3DS has a flap for 3 (3)DS games. Its perfect for keeping your system safe but the flaps where you put your games in leave fuzz on the pins so sometimes your 3DS doesn't even recognize your games and you have to pull the game out to clean the cartridge.

The case is quite honestly fantastic. I've never really had any strong feelings about a carrying case before, but this one finally broke the streak. The design is very sleek, and thankfully not very gaudy. The embossing looks very nice, and the material is extremely soft. The size is perfect for carrying around, and the cartridges do not feel like they add any bulk and they do not touch the system it self. However, the styli are too large to carry around comfortably, especially since there's no space for them in the case.

overall it is good the game holder keeps it from scratching ds it is suede and it fits perfectly with my ds but ther is one big flaw the big pens the thing you latch pens on something is sealed!!!!!!

May be the Only trust worthy 3DS accessory so far.

I have been looking for protective cases for on the go, I still own the original aluminum hard case from the old DS but I like to put the system in something like this then put it in the case, this also seems to be good for if I need to put it in my pocket when I dont wanna bring my messenger bag. I dont at all want the back up stylus I often find the knock off ones scratch the screens, also I worry that the placement of the 3DS game card holder may be in the way and cause damage to the system. Also I would like to know if its magnet locking like the amazing DSi case like this was. Finally is it Nintendo approved/certified because thats a deal breaker there. all in all its to early to say if I will get it from the lack of info, but so far its the best case I have seen for the 3DS.
