iPod shuffle(R) Gen 2 1GB - Silver (Pre-Owned)
Excellent product, perfect for listening to music!
At first I didn't think I would get my package on time, but I got it a day early. As soon as I got this product I was excited. The amount of songs you can put on it is amazing. It's small, compact but efficient. There is enough space for your fingers to press the clip and not touch the buttons unlike other iPods. Sound quality is wonderful. Even the earbuds that came with it are fantastic. The AC adapter and plug-in cord work fine. The iTunes function works great, though you can't put tons of songs on at the exact same time. It can be a little time consuming putting the songs on but it's all worth it. When I got it I found scuff and scratch marks all over it, but it was the best buy I could hope for (for the price). Wonderful item and I would recommend this item to anybody who likes to listen to music.
Great Overall, but not Perfect
The device itself works like a charm, and the adapter is holding up well. I actually got it in the mail three days after it was sent, compared to the 7-14 day estimated arrival time after processing - I either thank awesome, reliable postmen, or just GameStop awesomeness. The charger works, it in itself seems to be a legit Apple product in well-working, High-Quality condition, but I can never be sure, as I will say in my next part. It connects to iTunes just fine, no viruses - at least, none have reared their ugly heads so far. Not sure if it's universal for these when brought to the store, or if it's just mine, but it came preloaded with at least one song, I used that to test that it actually turned on and played fine. However, the headphones don't entirely seem to be up to Apple's snuff (see photo 1 & 2 below), at least from what I can tell, it is new, but it doesn't sound remotely close to the worst mono headphone I could get for a buck. the AC charger is ok; it isn't Apple as far as far as I can tell from experience, but it's possible, since I haven't seen too many different adapters, and for all I know Apple could be selling Windows Phone adapters xD (see photo 3). The actual charging cable seems to be 100% Apple, that glossy finish seems to be 100% real; I wouldn't expect GameStop to put anything but an authentic charger cable in it, since it's kind of important you get the actual iPod cable for your model, and not a USB 2.0 Mini cable. Overall, however, everything promised is here. It's just not all perfect.
!!!! TL;DR? Great product. Get your own accessories.
Bought one of these in the store and thought I'd get by ok, but I didn't. As soon as I hooked it up to my computer my mouse quit working. Then, once I could finally move my pointer and start up iTunes my PC had a hard time recognizing the iPod. After it finally recognized it, it would only sync ONE song in my library and tell me that all my other music was invalid or something like that. So I decided to Get on the Internet to find out what happened, but I no longer had Internet access since I plugged the iPod into my computer. Not to mention multiple programs crashed and would not work properly. I had to restore my computer to an earlier date for things to work properly again. Needless to say, this product will go back to the store and I will not buy another one unless its new.
