Term: Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA IV) Music Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") begins on April 29, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (CST) and ends on May 6, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. CST ("Term").

Eligibility: The Grand Theft Auto IV Music (GTA IV) Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the continental United States including the District of Columbia, excluding residents of Guam, Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. Legal residents must be at least 18 years of age or older at time of entry with Internet access prior to April 29, 2008. Employees, directors and officers of GameStop, Inc., Six Degrees, Inc., Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, Universal Music Group, their respective parent companies, affiliated companies, subsidiaries and any of their agents, advertising, promotional and other agencies, and the immediate families (parents, siblings, children and spouse) and persons living in the same household (whether related or not) of such employees/directors/officers (whether or not related) (collectively, the "Releasees") are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes or win a prize. Sweepstakes is subject to all local, state and federal laws and regulations by entering; you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors, which are final and binding in all respects. Void where prohibited.

How to Enter: (A) Online: During Sweepstakes period, go to www.gamestop.com/gtaiv and follow the instructions on how to enter the Sweepstakes. All entries must be received starting at 9:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (CST) on April 29, 2008 and ending on May 6, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. CST (“Sweepstakes Entry Period”). Limit one online entry per person or e-mail address per day, regardless of whether a person has more than one e-mail address or if more than one person uses the same e-mail address. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. By entering, participants acknowledge compliance with the Official Rules, including eligibility requirements and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and independent judging organization, which shall be final and binding. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited. Illegible or mechanically reproduced entries are not eligible. All entries and requests become the Sponsor’s property and will not be returned or acknowledged. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, incomplete or misdirected entries.

(B)  Mail-in Entry.  Print your name, mailing address (no P.O. Boxes) and phone number on a 3x5-note card or post card and mail to:  The Grand Theft Auto IV Music Sweepstakes, c/o GameStop, Inc., 625 Westport Parkway, Grapevine, TX, 76051. Limit one entry per day, per household up to three (3) entries. All entries and requests become the Sponsor’s property and will not be returned or acknowledged. Illegible entries are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, incomplete, misdirected, mutilated, postage due, or entries not received in time for drawing. All entries must be post marked no later than May 6, 2008 and received by May 8, 2008.

Prizing: Grand Prize: The Sponsor will award one (1) Grand Prize.  The Grand Prize will consist of the following: A trip for two to New York, New York (aka Liberty City) to see Universal Music Group recording artist Kanye West perform at Madison Square Garden on May 13, 2008 in New York City. Travel must be taken between May 12, 2008 and May 14, 2008 or prize is forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate at Sponsor’s discretion provided sufficient time remains prior to the New York City Trip where prize winner is scheduled to see Kanye West perform on May 13, 2008.  The Sponsor is under no obligation to award the Grand Prize if it is forfeited.  Trip prize includes round-trip coach airfare (from airport nearest to winner’s home or from an airport within 100 miles of winner’s home, at Sponsor’s discretion) to New York City, hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy) for two (2) nights, two tickets to see Kanye West perform at Madison Square Garden on May 13, 2008.  Should Kanye West’s performance be canceled for any reason, Sponsor may make a substitution of prize at their discretion.  If winner lives within 100 miles from New York City, Sponsor reserves the right to provide ground transportation.  Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of Grand Prize is $3,000.00.  There is no cash substitute and the trip must originate from the continental United States or the District of Columbia.  No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.  Excludes hotel incidentals whereby winner must provide credit card and/or debit card upon check in to cover any hotel room incidentals they may accrue. Transportation from the airport, hotel and event is the sole responsibility of the winner. 

Runner-Up Prizes: The Sponsor will award one hundred (100) runner-up winners with a copy of Universal Music Group recording artist Ne-Yo’s CD, titled, “Year of the Gentleman.” ARV of Runner-up prizes is $10.00. Total ARV of runner up prizes is $1,000.00. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded

Total ARV Amount of Sweepstakes is $4,000.00.

Grand Prize Winner Selection: The selected winner will be notified by phone at the phone number provided at the time of entry within forty-eight (48) hours of the close of the Sweepstakes Entry Period. The potential winner will have forty-eight (48) hours from the moment of such notification is issued to respond to such notification by following the instructions provided therein.  If a potential winner timely responds to such notification, the winner will then receive an affidavit of eligibility, an image/media release and a liability/publicity release by e-mail. The winner will be required to complete, execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and a publicity release (where legal) and IRS Form W-9 within forty-eight (48) hours of prize notification.  If the potential winner does not reply to the notification within forty-eight (48) hours of its issuance or does not return the signed documents within forty-eight (48) hours of their issuance (if applicable), the winner is ineligible, or cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, the winner be disqualified, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected, at Sponsor’s discretion.  The Sponsor is under no obligation to award the Grand Prize if it is forfeited.  In the event of noncompliance with either the rules or any of these time periods, an alternate winner will be selected. By entering this Sweepstakes and/or accepting the prize, all entrants consent to the use of their names, voices, pictures or other likeness for advertising, promotional and other purposes as determined by Sponsor and its designees without further approval or compensation (including on Sponsor’s Web sites). Sponsor has the right to revise dates and procedures stated in these rules. Winner must be prepared to travel to New York, New York on May 12, 2008 and return to their original departure city on May 14, 2008. The Sponsor, at its sole discretion can modify and or change the prizes without prior notification and reserves the right to substitute any prize of equal or greater value. Taxes and any costs associated with the receipt of the prize are the responsibility of the prizewinner.  All applicable federal, state and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner. The Grand Prize may not be substituted, transferred or redeemed for cash,   

Runner-Up Winner Selection: Potential winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing on or about May 6, 2008, from among all eligible entries received throughout the Term. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor. Potential winners will be contacted by e-mail and by phone to the e-mail address and phone number provided on the registration page. If, after reasonable attempts to determine or contact the winner, the potential winner does not respond within seven (7) calendar days of such notification, the entire prize will be forfeited and Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries.  There will be three (3) alternate drawings after which the prize will remain unawarded. The Runner-Up Prizes will be fulfilled after the CD release date on or about June 24, 2008 or after the conclusion of Sweepstakes.  Sponsor is not responsible for delay in CD release date. All decisions of Sponsor are final.

Odd of Winning: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during Sweepstakes Entry Period. 

Validations: Sweepstakes materials are void if they contain printing, mechanical or other errors. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. No mechanically reproduced entries allowed. GameStop, Six Degrees, Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive and Universal Music Group and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and assigns, and each of their owners, shareholders, officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents, advertising and promotion agencies, and all others associated with the development or execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively, the "Releasees") are not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer hardware or software transmissions or technical failures, incomplete, delayed or garbled transmissions or other errors or problems of any kind, whether mechanical, electronic, human or otherwise, beyond the control of Releases, or for lost, late, stolen, illegible, incomplete, damaged, postage due, misdirected, mutilated or late mail including, but not limited to, mail submitted to or sent by Releases. GameStop, Inc., Six Degrees, Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive and Universal Music Group reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Sweepstakes should a virus, bug, computer or other problem beyond Releases control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of this Sweepstakes. GameStop, Inc., Six Degrees, Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive and Universal Music Group reserve the right to award the Grand Prize from among the entries received prior to the date of suspension. Releasees are not liable for results or success of Sweepstakes. GameStop, Inc., Six Degrees, Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive and Universal Music Group reserve the right to modify the Sweepstakes in whatever way they deem necessary or appropriate. If GameStop, Inc., Six Degrees, Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive and Universal Music Group determine that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the Sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, GameStop, Inc., Six Degrees, Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive and Universal Music Group reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to void any entries that appear to have been submitted fraudulently or to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part. In the event of any dispute regarding the identity of a person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized e-mail account holder, which is defined for these Official Rules as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

General Conditions: All federal, state and local taxes are sole responsibility of Grand Prize Winner, except as otherwise provided in these Official Rules. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants, the Grand Prize Winner, and his or her guests release the Sponsor from any and all liability in any way arising from this Sweepstakes and/or the receipt use or misuse of a prize or parts thereof, including, without limitation, liability for death, personal injury, damage or loss of any kind, and from liability to any other persons relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with these Sweepstakes. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use a winner's name and hometown on GameStop, Inc., Six Degrees, Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive and Universal Music Group respective websites and to use a winner's name, city, state, likeness and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation. Except as otherwise provided in these Official Rules, the decisions of GameStop, Inc., Six Degrees, Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive and Universal Music Group are final and binding with respect to all aspects of the Sweepstakes and are not subject to appeal.
