When i was 10 my brother girlfriend had a gf and he invited us but anyway I saw this so we played it. They let me borrow then before i know i was addicted to it. and I didnt care cuz it was fun but the few months past and my baby brother broke so.... 2 years past and i saw sims bustin out i tried it out and its not as fun because u cant control by moving and stuff and the graphics aren't better. but the thing bustin out is better is u can drive insted of taking the bus and u can have babies other than that SIMS 2 is the best and 1/2 sims game i played so i would recommend buying this game.Oh and pretty soon once i figure out to put videos on youtube i am doing this because no has done it yet.

Phenomenal!
This was definitely not a waste of money! I absolutely love this game! It remains entertaining and, in my opinion, very addicting! The controls take some time to learn, but after that, they are easy to use. The game does take a while to load, and you cannot grow older or raise families, although you are able to marry. The music does start to annoy after a while, but you can turn it off with the stereo. The two- player option is a plus. This game can be fun to play with a friend, because you are able to interact with each other, and have separate lives at the same time. There are many unlockable items in the game such as locations (each come with new people) clothing, and recipes. They can be hard to unlock sometimes, which was a plus for me because I like the challenge. And you are able to pick your personality so the game does not have to focus on only love, or careers, or earning money. This game does not get old and was definitely worth purchasing; I highly recommend this for anyone interested. Enjoy!

Great game for all sims fans
This game is my personal favourite of the sims that I have. Here are soms of the goods and bads about the game. Enjoy! Good - In story mode, you can go to other weird houses (such as movie set, boat, and just normal houses) - more social options ( like take pic,, blackmail, slap, impress, gossip, electric hand, etc. - over 250 objects, so you can costimize your house way more than the first sims - lots of clothing options, to clothes to face options - new controls, you can make it a third person view! - Good anamation for the system - you can play as a ghost - you can play as a alein - fast loading for system - the sims have more skills that you can train and impove on ( creativity, strenth, christma, Bad -takes a while to exit object ( about 10-15 secends) - you do not control them at work - 90% of the time you pick up the phone, it is some person that you do not know wanting to talk. - when you are in socal mode with someone, you can not buy anything - no expantion packs - can not have babies - no kids - no teens - no todds - no elders - aleins just look diffrent, no add ons like space ships, and diffrent clothing - They speak simlish ( The sims language that makes no sence what so ever) - They mess up real songs with simlish

best game ever
sims 2 is one of the best in the sims series. unlike most simulate game this has realism and freedom to do what ever you want. fantastic graphics. the only con of this game is the fact that whenever you forget to do something like feed your sim in the first they would go eat. in this one the you get to control the sim instead of just telling them what to do which is cool but they just are and if your doing something and your car shows up you have 60 seconds to stop and get to the car. over all this is a down right awsome game but has a few bugs. the third one will be better because you get to go farther then your own home and more jobs and you can pick everything about your sim and it is going to be a online computer game for both pcs and macs.

The Sims 2 is an experience like no other!
The Sims 2 for the Nintendo Gamecube is pure excellence. I think EA and Maxis did a great job putting this one together, because I am very impressed with the overall presentation. If you don't know about The Sims series, it is a compilation of life simulation games where you get to create and customize your own virtual people and furnish your own houses. The Sims 2, however, takes things to the next level, because you'll have the ability to mix and match your own ingredients to prepare new recipes and dishes for your Sims. Players can also make adjustments to the clothing and create unique patterns and styles. The amount of objects and the level of customization is just astonishing, as you'll also have the ability to unlock more along the way, as you progress through the single-player campaign. The controls are pretty smooth, and for the first time ever, you will be able to directly control your Sims' moves and actions without any problems or restrictions. The interface is decent, but if you are new to The Sims, you'll most likely find it hard to understand, but eventually, you'll get used to it. The sound is generally good, as the Sims still talk Simlish, and yes, there are Simlish versions of some great pop and dance tracks. The graphics and animations are also pretty good, as you'll get a wide range of actions to choose from while interacting, and they are all different, there isn't any lag or slow-downs whatsoever, and in general, the visuals are clearly amazing for this particular system. One thing that really attracts me to The Sims is the sense of realism. The characters are so believable and they know how to imitate real-life humans. There is also some multiplayer in the mix, so you can play with a friend, live together, and help fulfill one another's wants. Overall, The Sims 2 is a magnificent step forward for the best-selling franchise, and although the console versions might not be as great or grand as the PC version and it's expansion packs, it still offers a worth-while experience that you won't regret one bit!

A New World To Explore
The Sims 2 for Gamecube is a very realistic world that you can control. Personally, I enjoy the simulation and realism in the game, such as experiencing your Sim's goals and fears. What you do and what you achieve or fail with your sim has an impact on not only your sim but the other sims in the game. For example, if your sim (Bob) fails in getting or maintaining his job and lives with other sims who don't have a job, then Bob has not only ruined a great chance in fulfilling one of his wants but has made a small impact on his family who depend on him to "bring home the bacon". Another concept I enjoy in the Sims 2 for Gamecube is that you can customize almost anything you wear, eat, or use! I enjoy making my own creations and discovering new items to use without any penalties. Cooking and Designing (which is a fun feature in the Sims 2) offers that and more. Cooking food is my favorite concept in the game, because you can mix and mash with numerous ingredients and tools to create something simple and tasty or exotic and delicious. Lastly, finding new things and unlocking secrets will really be a step up for any gamer who enjoys puzzles or discovering the unknown. I can't reveal many secrets, but let me just say that in The SIms 2 (Gamecube), there are many things you have to look for. In uncommon items (lamps, couches, new locations) or the obvious (like fruit trees or prospecting for treasure), there are items that you can't buy and have to acquire through either clicking on the object and gathering it, or by using other tools of trade to unlock them. Summing it all up, The Sims 2 (Gamecube) is a fun game for any simulation gamer and has lots of new, exciting things to uncover.
