Star Wars Rogue Squadron III Rebel Strike
The best ever
This is by far the best Star Wars game ever made. I love the Rouge Squadron games. Didn't much care for the 2nd one, but thats ok! I love how you can play levels that almost follow the movies perfectly and then you can play levels that are completely genuine. I plan on buying this and a GameCube again so I can play the mess out of this. If you've never played any of the Rouge Squadron games or this one, you are missing out on a life changing game.
One of GameCube's Best
This is one of the GameCube's best games ever. This is my favorite game in the Rouge Squadron series. It's a must have for any GameCube or Wii owner. It has awesome gameplay, great graphics for the time, and is flat out fun to play. Buy this game!!!!
Another Score for GC owners.
Just as good as 2. The series, as well as the RE repolished games ( original-3) keep my old GC on the shelf in my living room, and out of my attic, or traded in for store credit. A MUST have for GC owners!
next to its predisesors "Best game I ever played"
I remember the Christmas I got this game with my game-cube, I set up my system put the this game in and once I started the game I was blown away. At the time I played this I already had the first game for the N64 and I played the second game a lot of times at my friend's house and I was oh so thankful that my ride with the series was able to continue. Right now I have all three RS games and the prequel that takes place during Episode 1 (I didn't enjoy that game as much as the RS trilogy) and let me tell u ...best set of games Ive ever played. They all have there own strengths and weaknesses.
As for this one just about every thing is Incredible in this game. First, It has excellent replay value, you can play a co-op version of the second game, play 2 player VS, and play two of the classic star wars arcade games, FOUR GAMES IN ONE HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT. Second, the graphics look down right fantastic and they still look amazing today especially when compared to today's standards. The last reason is the controls, I didn't know how they were going to pull of all the missions that require you to use a speeder or a walker instead of an x-wing or A-wing but some how they did it and boy did they make it work. The only con in this game is that the on-foot missions are kind of boring and you have to play through them quite a bit of times to progress.
bottom line- This game is magnificent and If you are a star wars fan or you like multi-player games to play with your friends, trust me this game is a wise choice.
this game is ok
this game is ok because you dont have a lot of lives and if if it says game over you start all over and thats sucks but the good things are you have cool spaceships and cool people and good guns and thats why i think this is a ok game.
I LOVE this awsome game
i love this awsome game, i suggest this to any aged star wars, if u drive an AT-ST walker, u feel like a world dominator of the rebels!!!
Not as good as the previous two
This game somewhat departs from the classic Rogue Squadron formula by adding on foot levels, speeders, and other vehicle levels. The graphics are arguably the best of the generation and the sound is spectacular especially in surround sound. Unfortunately the on foot levels lack the thrill of the levels in vehicles and flying craft. Good game for any Star Wars fan. Weakest in the series but still good.
Why couldn't battlefront have graphics this good?
I loved this game! Neat gameplay and all. Not much more to say, other than AWESOME!
I first played this game at a friends house. I was fairly skeptical at first, because, after all, it is Game Cube, and I had never heard of it. However, I was blown out of the water. It's a great game to play multi-player, the single-player missions leave a little to be desired. For this price, it is a great game, giving years of great fun, and it's got cheat codes :).
A good upgrade from the previous version.
Very challenging, but a great game if you're into Star Wars. This version includes some speeder levels, as well as some levels where you're on foot. A step closer to Battlefront than the last version.
