It is what it is
Alot of people get on this game becuase you basically are stuck in a vehicle the whole time, well that is what spy hunter is. The story mode is good, the weapons are cool, the transformation to the motorcycle is HOt, and the rgaphics are good. For five bucks why not get it and try it out?
OMG That is not a good version.
What the heck were they thinking? The graphics are somehow choppy and I don't know why but for some reason this is the only Gamecube game that has very choppy and pixelated Graphics. Even Though I've never played this version of the game this is not good much however the storyline is decent and the length is good so is the sound and the interface is great but the controls are somehow poor for some reason. The challenge is good though. But this version is way worse than the PS2 Version of the game so this is somewhat a mediocre mission based driving game because of terrible graphics and the controls are poor. Makes me want to go Oh my gosh this game is sort of garbage but not way too bad. And Thus I give this game a 5.2/10 because there is too much criticism in the graphics and controls but somehow not too bad. So this game is okay.
Spy Hunter should NOT be hunted
A game where you drive a cool car and hunt people down using high tech weaponry, what could be better? A lot. This video game leaves you bored from the start and is a letdown. With fairly good graphics and easy controls these are the only two pluses the game will get. A poor storyline and length after an afternoon of play one gets bored and returns it. I guess what can you expect for **** dollars. You get what you pay for and that is the truth. Basically this game is just a shoot 'em up from a boat, car, or motorcycle utilizing your rockets, machine gun, and turbo boost. The enemy could be considered less than challenging. The graphics, however, are pretty good considering most of the game is a total bust. I bought this game one afternoon thinking it looked good only to play it for that afternoon. I have had the game for over a year since and have not picked it up once. The only reason I would pick it up to play it would be when I made myself before writing this review. I urge to save your money and hunt for something more worth your while than Spy Hunter.
