Rated 9 out of 10 by shimshamshazaam amazing game holds up 10 years later!
Game is similar to zelda but different in many good ways. this game you can trap monsters and use them as weapons or you can donate them to the museum. you switch between mummy and sphinx character when the story requires it. there is no guessing there. the sphinx character is more of a warrior type with a sword and shield whereas the mummy just runs and jumps and uses special abilities unique to that of a dead person. the controls are a breeze and work better than many modern games i've played. there is more jumping/platforming in this game than a zelda game too. i play this gamecube game on my wii with a component cable and the graphics look great for a ten year old game. go get this game if you are a fan of puzzle platformers.

Rated 9 out of 10 by soulblud Legend of Zelda: Egyptian Edition :)
First off, AMAZING game. It has both the action and puzzle solving of Legend of Zelda (though a bit more puzzles than LoZ), but with, in my opinion, a cooler setting. It is a good game for sure. Some parts will have you confused. You can complete the quest in about 7-8 hours if you just stick with the story and don't play super-seriously, but it's hard not to get sidetracked, such as the fact you have an empty museum to fill with creatures, minigames, and more. I haven't gotten 100% yet, but I'm trying. Graphics are a little better than you might expect, and the animation is simply SUPERB. It's simply hard to put it in words. It starts slow, but gets much better. I recommend it strongly.
