Product Details:

Resident Evil Ø begins in July of 1998 in the suburbs of RaccoonCity, a small town located in the Midwest. Several reported incidences of people being eaten by a strange creature have surfaced. The Raccoon city police department viewed the terrible murders as a top priority and quickly decided to send in a specialtask force, the S.T.A.R.S Bravo team. As the team heads to the scene of the murders, the helicopter that was transporting them begins to have mechanical problems, eventually crashing deep into the forest surrounding Raccoon City.

While the Bravo Team was successful in escaping from the crash, they had lost all of their equipment and weapons. As they began to gather their wits, the team saw a shocking image. Before them lay a half-destroyed, over-turned transport truck with corpses of several navy officers that had been gruesomely killed and mangled.

Under orders from Commander Enrico, the Bravo Team began investigating the disappearance of Captain Billy Cowen, one of the officers who was supposed to be in the over-turned transport yet his remains cannot be found. Little does the Bravo Team know that this investigation is the beginning of a horrific nightmare.

2 Main Characters! Employs the new "Partner Zapping" system.

* Resident Evil Zero features two main characters: Rebecca, a rookie Raccoon City Police Officer who first appeared in the original Resident Evil, and Billy, a framed convict on the run.

* This new system allows players to follow the adventure of both characters successively by using the 'Zapping' ability. This ability allows players toswitch between the two main characters at the blink of an eye. If either character runs out of health, the game is over. More details regarding this revolutionary system are to follow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The worst resident evil I've played. I've played three resident evil games which isn't many, but this is the worst of them not very enjoyable. The pros: graphics that still hold up well, and decent puzzles, also an ok story. The cons: not many scares, the controls aren't perfect like #4, characters are a bit one dimensional, and you have to do a large amount of backtracking which is ok if you have alot of time to play video games, but it isn't for me. I wanted to play throught the series game by game beginning with zero, however this game really turned me off I played resident evil 4 and revelations; enjoyed them a good amount so I probably will still play through the rest. With that said I warn all others who want to do the same to go straight to number 1 not zero.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall Good Amazing Storyline and Fill in the holes from resident evil 1. Its has tough puzzles. This game is not for people with no patience or those who need to have a fast paced game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect Perfect, just like the Res Evil Remake for gamecube. I like the fact that you can be both characters instead of just being one the whole game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Game It's entertaining & that's what matters! I recommend it! Kinda confusing at some point and storyline doesn't quite match but just give it a try!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good prequel to the original. My score is based on comparing it to other games on its release date, NOT current generation games. If you follow the storyline of the game series, have a somewhat more than useless AI partner than other installments of the series.Targeting is so-so for that year, but the graphics, sound effects, and overall enjoyment I had with this installment are what I expected of an RE game of the early 2000's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This game gives me the CHILLS.... I actually have the 2-disc version, but there's no difference. I've never played a resident evil game, but it has to be one of the scariest games out of capcom. I gotta play more of these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Game Zero is a great game in the resident evil series. Maybe not quite as good as some of the others but definately up there. Its really a good game for any resident evil fan or any gamer who enjoys puzzles and zombies. As for everyone who complains about the controls, its not that they're difficult, you're just not used to them. Movement is very easy, UP always moves you forward, DOWN always moves you backwards, LEFT turns you left and RIGHT turns you right. simple.
