The moon shines as you and Ashley walk through one of Spain’s rural villages. Suddenly as you turn around quickly, a crazy man with a chainsaw comes and slices your head off. That’s one of the most memorable experiences for me when I first got to playing it. Of course…those crazy villagers are not the only thing you’ll face in this horror survival game. There are far scarier things to worry about… This game had amazing graphics for the GameCube. While many people may complain about the Gamecube’s low graphics, I tend to think that this is perhaps the best looking game on the system in my honest opinion. The levels and areas you visit are fantastically horrific. The plot unravels beautifully with cinematic scenes as scary as they are intense and great. Now….gameplay here seriously changed. I mean seriously. In my honest opinion, this game now defined 3rd person shooters. Capcom did a daring move and it turned out for the better. Because of the positive outcome of it, future Resident Evil games will receive this upgrade for their gameplay now. I enjoyed it very much. Every time I jumped, it was maybe because of the sound effects and person on the scene. The music was haunting and yet so pretty at the same time. I enjoyed the realistic gun effects. Angry villagers made me afraid at tense moments. It really added on to the great experience I had. Replay value? Yes sir. This game has mini-games, new weapons, and new costumes when you beat it the first time around. I’m currently addicted to one of the mini-games. Yep…I am. Mercenaries is one of the two mini-games you get. It’s just….too good. Overall, this game is receiving from me…a 10 out of 10. Good job Capcom!

resident evil 4 is among the better ones in the series, and is loads of fun, ive found it very addicting and challenging, especially when you have ashley with you because of the whole "if she dies, game over" thing, im really hoping resident evil 6 is like this game and not like operation raccoon city!

it is so terrible! It times you like two minutes to complete a long long path and you have to shoot the zombies and it takes them like 20 shots to make them killed! It is way worse than the one for the wii. Call of duty is way better than this lame stupid game! Do not buy it!!

im not sure if you're trollign or not, but the reason this game is good is because it isnt call of duty, the reason it takes so many bullets to kill an enemy is because its survival based, and two minutes isnt that long of a time to walk down a path in a game

This is a great game there is several other games for Resident Evil, like the new game for Xbox 360 operation raccoon city. But so far this game, Resident Evil 4 most people like challenging games like this but me and my brother play it so much we can beat this game in an instant especially when you have good guns. So if any of you buy this game I'm sure you will be addicted to it right away.You can get this product from game stop for, wii , play station 2, game cube and PC.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

I personally love this game.My first time around playing this I have to admitt that the villagers and cultists scared the "wow" out of me but I still didn't give up on this game.This game contains some very well detailed graphics and along with that the blood looks real to when you use the knife! Fear is never an option while playing this or else you can find yourself in trouble. Ashley can be a hassle at times and doesn't really do anything productive unless you command her to do something or she's ducking when you shoot. She can very well be annoying while being carried away by the enemy to. All in all I would definatley recommand this to anyone who likes "surprises" on a whole new level. This game is on the top of my list.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

First off i have played all Resident evil games. I love them all, but out of all of them, this in my opinion is the best. This game was the true definement of the GC console. The graphics were simply amazing the story was very well thought out and had some of the best mini-games in any genre of gaming. Resident Evil 4 your first time through will provide you challenge and adventure, if you love the Resident Evil series, you will love this game.

This is the pinnacle of what a Gamecube game can be. Fallow Leon S. Kennedy on his journey through a plague-infected village in order to find the president's daughter. With enough scary noises and scenes of horror to make the best of survival horror fans squeal like little girls and enough action to keep your basic shooter fan giddy, this is a must for those of you who still own a Gamecube, or can pick it up on the Xbox Marketplace.

Well when I start the game i have no idea of whats going on so when i started the game i get attacked by a human zombie i try to attack but the come back alive (spoiler alert) its very gory and bloody and scary well cause of the pop ups REALLY SCARY!!! by the way...and all i started w/ was a lazar gun agh! really annoying but reallizing that your felling right in the game i whould recomend this game for hard core gamers but i whould really recomend you guys playing it.
