Resident Evil 3
the R.P.D and racoon city return Nemesis unleashed
look familiar well it should for all RE 2 games. the R.P.D is overrun agian but you will have to run throught the city first. knowing the rooms of the R.P.D will help you alot and jill valintine will get some help from umbrella? thought the streets were tough well add a huge strong monster named nemesis who will appear out of nowhere in certain areas and he has a one hit ko attack. dont let him grab you and dont fight him untill you have two. you will be given the option of fighting him in the begining of the game but it is a trap for overconfident players. you dont stand a chance and dont think you do. when you see him run like heck lol. unlike the movies he doesnt have 5000 bullets but he does carry a rocket launcer that makes his strength look like a joke. he has many forms so if you are lucky enough to down him you will have to face him again in a tougher form. A new challenge to RE gamers two great dangers, its your choice how to deal with them. the main goal is to escape and sirvive
The Under-rated version
I've played Resident Evil 2 and 3 for the PS1, and again for the Gamecube, and I have to say that this is the most under-rated one of the series (consitering how good the series is, it's hard to put it above the rest even still). What I like most about it is the ability to make your own ammo and use the guns you want to use. The gameplay is exactlly as other Resident Evils, and the story centers a lot more on a cover-up on the part of Unbrella rather than just get out alive. What sets this apart from the others is the ability to pick how you make a move at certan parts of the game. These choices affect the outcome of what you do next, sometimes so drasticlly that if you make a mistake, you'll face a army of zombies within seconds. One of the best things about this game is at the end, you get to play a very nice mini-game. Playing this game can also give you new weapons to use in the main game. This makes replay value go up a bit. The problem is, it's short. Only about 4 hours at the most (unless you're really bored), but all-around, it's as good, if not better, then almost any remake of the series. If you haven't played this game, trust me when I say this, you should pick it up.
Overall a great game. If your a resident evil fan you need to play this, although personally I enjoyed this better on the playstation. The one thing that everyone I know thats played this game, including myself, has found is that nemesis makes this game hard. So to help a bit heres a little tip. If your playing the easy difficulty then your best bet is to avoid fighting nemesis when you can. If theres a way to run from it, do it. I can promise that there almost alway is a way to run from him, even if it means backtracking a bit. Just save your health he's not worth it. HOWEVER! If you find yourself playing the hard difficulty you may find it in your best interest to stay and fight nemesis. You see, in this difficulty setting, if you defeat nemesis, he'll drop a part for one of your guns. Each time you beat him he drops a different piece to a different gun. And for everyones information, there is a way to dodge all of nemesis' attacks, yes, even the rocket launcher. It just takes good timing. Read through the two manuals you start with, they give you alot of helpful info.
I beat this game on ps1. I loved how this was like the only one to have fat zombies and girl zombies. I wish that they put them in the others, though. In this one, the zombies can come through certain doors and can come down stairs if it isn't one that loads. The stars guy, (i like to call the Nemesis guy since he always says S.T.A.R.S) always chases you in the police station. Here is a hint, if you jump if something jumps at you or anything, stay away from the windows. It would save you from being grabbed by the zombies. Here is another hint, in the end, zombies start to come in the police station. Before this happens, there is a switch that puts down the window blockers thingies. The wire is broken so you have to look for something to fix it. I don't remember what it was since i hadn't played it for a while. I think that you can earn costumes in the end, but i don't remember for sure.
The most exicting game ever in the Resident Evil franschine.
Overall,good game,except the graphics
This game was excellent, but the graphics aren't that great. The unlockables add lasting appeal to the game because it gives you a reason to keep playing it.The mercernary minigame is cool too, allowing you to unlock awesome wepaons like gatling guns and rocket launchers.Nemesis gets annoying, but that keeps you on edge I guess.Overall, the game was good,I recommend it to any gamer.
Brings back lots of child-hood memories
When I was younger this game scared me to death, but now that im older its fun to bring the pain back to em'. RE3:nemesis is one of the best classics from Capcom. Somewhat long story, lots of new enemies compared to the predecessors, and a bunch of weapons. This game is a definite must play if your new to the resident evil franchise!
Port of the PS1 game
This is a straight port of the PS1 version, and not of the superior Dreamcast/PC version. So it lacks the graphical improvements, extra costumes, and other features. Still not a bad game though.
this game is good sequel from 1 and 2 its graphics arnt the best but story weapons and enimes.personily my favoite thing is that you can make chosies like to run or fight or work togrther or go separtate this is a great over all game
I played this one several years ago, still have it,and plan to play it again someday.Fighting Nemisis is tough, but doable, and the graphics were not updated like they were in RE1 for this system. But you still had that feeling of dread in your gut when you entered a new area, and the music and sound effects added fuel to the fire. That made it worth the price of admission alone. If you like the RE games, when it was still survival horror.Get this game.
