Medal of Honor European Assault
It's World War 2 All Over Again
Medal of Honor: European Assault is my favorite WW2 FPS out there. (Just beat Medal of Honor: Frontline which is a great game! Must buy!) The enemy AI is astounding with their details and deaths. It's a big accomplishment for the Gamecube having each character have a different death. (Shooting Germans down stairs is very entertaining!) My only graphics problem is on the multiplayer. The backrounds and environments are okay but the characters' and their guns' graphics are Playstation 1 or even N64 quality. Yes, no lie. See for yourself. Anyway, the story is thought out well and the controls are easy to understand even with a idiotic squad of three following and moving too fast to reheal. The sound is fantastic and is Medal of Honor quality with each piece of music composed by an orchestra. (Top-rated sound quality over all WW2 FPS's!) It's a little short with 11 missions but it would be impossible for me if I moved from 'normal' to 'hard' on my difficulty. (I'm not the best but having health is easier than the newer Call of Duty's with replenishing health.) In conclusion, this game is a 9/10 because the series has come out with yet again a instant classic. Shooting German Nazis is very entertaining. (Probably because they were bad and lost the war!)
The battle is on!
I got this game a few years ago, and it was the first FPS game I ever played. And to this day, it is still the best FPS game that I have ever played. The storyline catches you and your eyes cannot veer from the screen. The graphics are very well done and the sound effects will blow you away (literally)! The controls and interface is rock-solid too. The only complaint I would say was that, for a skilled FPS gamer, you zip through the storyline pretty fast. But you can try the same story on harder difficulties, which, to this day, I have still not completed all of Hero mode, the hardest of them all. So that will give you a great challenge if you want to finish everything. The multiplayer, while not online capable, will last a long time if you have some friends to play with. So, all in all, this is a great game!
The storyline is accurate to WW2. The aiming is kind of weird, but its still functional. If you like Black Ops you will probably like this. The graphics suck, but that can be expected from an older game. The game is slightly too short.
The best Medal of Honor Game
Not only is this games campaign a blast, but playing multiplayer with friends is amazing. There are so many good sized maps to choose from. The game is all about the world war 2 era and man is it incredible. The m1 grand is by far my favorite gun, the sound, the graphics, they all make this game one of a kind.
This game may be old, but all the great old games come back to us. This game has a great campaign and a great Multiplayer experience.
Just sitting with some friends and playing on any map with a suitable size is one of the funnest things you can do with this game. Many games today don't have a split-screen mode, like the new Medal of Honor, which would be good for split-screen, so enjoy this game while you can.
A MUST GET GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
one of the best on the ps2, gamecube, and xbox
like the title says, its a hit, this is by far my number 2 on my favorite medal of honor list right behind allied assault, it has missions set in 4 different locations, and all of the missions rock, im not too satified with the objectives but i got used to it overall a fantastic game.
This is a great game.
