Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hey EA!!! Marvel nemesis 2.... Please? EA really got creative with this game. The control scheme for this game is very unique and fits every charecter perfectly, which Im sure was really hard to do considering the charecters all have very different abilities from one another(Ironman and Wolverine for exsample). The combat is fun and fast paced but it somehow miraculously dosnt lack weight. That is one thing that is pretty rare for any game,to be fast but not sacrifice that feeling of power you should get from playing as a physical juggernaut like the Thing or Venom. For a 2005 game this has very good graphics. My only real complaint about this game visually is that certain charecters have an odd shinyness to them(Niles van rokeal and Spiderman for exsample). My favorite thing about the graphics is that the aliens are designed very well. Most have blades for arms and make an extremely satisfieing splat sound whenever you kill them. The soundtrack to this game is good and it gives a nice "THIS IS THE APPOCALYPSE AND WERE ALL GONNA DIE!!!" type of vibe, but its still really nothing remarkable. Each charecter on this game has their own campaign,so there is alot of game here. There is Thing,Wolverie,Wink*,Elektra,Johny ohm*, Spiderman,Daredevil,Storm,Faultzone*,Venom,Human torch,Solara*, Brigade*,Ironman,Magneto,Haz-mat*,Paragon*,and Niles van rokeal*. I put a * next to each charecter that they made up specificaly just for this game. The imperfects(thats what the people they made up just for this game are called)give off a very watchmen-like vibe which is definitely a good thing.Sadly I doubt EA will make a Marvel nemesis 2.Its been 7 years since this game was released and still no word on whether there will be a sequel or not :'(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My raw superheroes I thought I wouldn't be attracted to this game until I found out that wolverine was up here. As it turns out, this game with other heroes isn't bad at all. Graphics were comic-like. Sound was good too. Not bad for a superhero game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Marvel Power I loved this game! Its one of the best marvel games out like the ultimate alliance series. The graphics were really good. The game play is good as well. In story mode you have to fight all these new mutants and some old ones. This game is sort of an beatem up brawler type game. Story mode is really fun because you get to fight some bad guys and you can trow items and cars at the enemies. Some parts in the story mode are kind of hard like Elecktra's and daredevil's story mode. In the game you can use villians or heroes like Venom, Maneto, Spider-Man, and Wolverine. Vs mode s really fun to play with a friend because you both are either throwing cars or smacking each other with tons of objects flying against the wall. Some characters you have to unlock while you play through the story mode. Some of the boss fights are hard and some are easy. If see this game you should really pick it up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not he best MArvel ever put out, but held my interest :) Overall, I enjoyed the game. It was very challenging, which held my interest. Plus I got to play with a wide variety of characters (both classic and new), such as Magneto, Storm, Human Torch, and more. The game is a little off-beat as an action adventure game... for those who loved X-Men Legends and Marvel Universe, you should know this is nothing like it. You do follow a storyline and get to choice the sequence of how you complete the game's goals, but overall missions are short, you only play one character that's assigned to each mission (though one player may have multiple missions), and overall there's not much leeway for roaming around or venturing. For those that are big fans of using cheats and combos, you may be out of luck. Combos are almost not existent on this game and the amount of codes for it are pretty limited... or at least hard to find online. BUT, the game play is awesome! I was happy with the duration of the game and the non-stop action it provided! Graphics and sound were sweet, and I thought it was very interesting how you could play as new characters and enemies as well! My belief is that you'd really have to be into Marvel to truly appreciate this game, but I think everyone can enjoy it! :)
