Mario Power Tennis
BEST MARIO SPORTS GAME EVER!!!!
Hello everyone and welcome to my next review which is mario pwer tennis for the nintendo gamecube. there are numerous game modes and I will talk about them all. in the tournament mode you pick a character and play in a standerd tournament to win trophies and unlock characters or other secrets. exihibition is were you do a single match. you pick one of the loads of characters. from mario and luigi to shy guys and wigglers. and one of the many mario themed courts. from peaches castle and a DK jungle to delfino island and a haunted mansion from luigis mansion. and then rules. in the game you can do super shots unique to each character but you can turn them off. or you can choose to use mario kart like items to batter your opponets. there are also tons of fun mimi games. from hitting bullet bills at mecha bowser and hitting the ball through rings to beating ghosts and much much more. so overall mario power tennis is absolutley incedible.
Very Good Mario Game
This game is a great sequel to the terrific nintendo 64 Mario tennis. The characters include Mario, Peach, Wario, Donkey Kong, and many other figures from Mario and the stage, such as Luigi's Mansion and Delfino Plaza are very unique and fun to play at. The career has a great amount of difficulty and depth and multiplayer, up to four players, is fun. Also, each character has two different special hits that are very unique. Altogether, a great game that you should buy.
this is a great game im a huge fan of mario and nintendo the story line is good and the sound is good
Great Game; no wonder it had 2 ports on the Wii.
this is Amazing! not exactly perfect but it is good. i love this had wacky Power shots but wish they also had them in all future games. they had evrey Mario character( & then some) imaginable. from Diddy kongs arch shaped banna shot, to Luigi's wacky control reversing hammer, to well Wario's recovery move where he uses (SPOILER ALERT!) Ultra Hand. this is fun but got old a little fast. Bunny Boy 4EVER OUT!
Good, but not as good as the gameboy version.
This game is really interesting. It has an easy-to-use set of controls that works perfectly, making the controls almost flawless. One thing I hate about the controls is shot-locking. Let's say you want to hit a slice, so you mash the b button, but then you want to hit a dropshot, and now you can't since you have already pressed b more than once to charge your shot up. This game doesn't have any characters that you can unlock, so I am just giving as a heads up that you get what you pay for. Now on to the graphics. The graphics aren't to impressive but they managed to pull this off pretty well. The only flaw with the graphics isn't the tennis court, isn't the camera, but it is the sun. Some times while playing on a clay court, you may find the sun in the background annoying and miss out on a few shots because of that. The sound of the game isn't anything new, and they didn't really put that much effort into good sound on the tv. Aside from everything else, this game has a lot of mini-games to play and unlock, but it doesn't last all that long, concluding that this game does not have that much amount of content. Playing exhibition tennis is this game's strong point. I cannot think of a better tennis game than this one because it is so easy to play! Another downside for lasting appeal is no story. If you are interested in this game, I would more recommend the GameBoy Advance version since it fixed every single flaw of this game. That's my review.
A great game, espically with friends.
Despite the fact I don't play it much now, I still have fond memories of playing this late into the night with my friends. It has more value with every person you have and is great for killing a few hours. I would reccommend this to every one I know.
It is great, if you don't have the original.
I would say for people who don't have the original Mario Tennis, then it is probably worth the 10 bucks, but as for people who own the original, I would say don't. at first I played it a lot, then pretty soon i got the original, and then it was not as fun because the original had everything this game has, the only difference is better graphics so if you don't have the original then it is worth it, but if you do have the original, then don't.
Very good game
This game compared to Mario Tennis N64 was good, but N64 had much more characters to choose from than the newer one surprisingly. This game although had better courts, Power-Ups, and cups. I think this is a much easier version of Tennis. To swing press the A button, and to do a Power-Up press the X or Y button. Overall good game.
Very great sequel for the N64 version
I couldn't believe my eyes when I bought this thing! I was baffled by the very complex gameplay and graphics of the game and it is filled with some crazy boards and power moves. The unlock able characters are also another great touch to the game which makes me want to play more! I love this game to death!
Continues the Tradition of Great Mario Sports Game
This game is super fun and enjoyable to play. I'm not a fan of watching tennis, but I sure am a fan of playing Mario Tennis. If you love Mario sports buy this game now. It is worth it and is awesome to play, either by yourself or with a friend.
