Rated 8 out of 10 by Littlefoot While Party 6 doesn't offer a majority of things new, it still pulls you in with its intuitive Mic
Mario Party 6, the Party released in 2004, is a solid game, and I like it a little better than 8. For one thing, 6 has a totally fun and hard to put down gameplay. Mario Party still manages to roll out the fun multiplayer action, unlike other party games of its time. The Mic is a wonderful new feature which adds an extra sense of feeling to the game. However, there are also some complaints. After all, I didn't give this game a 10. The main criticism of Mario Party is rehashing, which means that they kept using the same formula. Unlike 7 and 8, however, 6 almost feels totally new, which is a good thing. Party is a delightful romp to play single player. But 6 manages to pull out some fun mini games, so it still remains 4th best Party of all time. While Mario Party 6 may not feel the best of Mario games, it certainly holds a spot in Mario Party history as being a decent Party.
Rated 5 out of 10 by mario fan #1 Just another mario party game
This game was the first ever game i got for the game cube and i already had a ps2 and compared to some of teh games i had for the ps2 this game was nothing exciting with this game it was just another game. the grafics are pretty low teck for now a days and the graphics are a solid 4. and the sound is pretty good and i give it a 7. and the total time that you will play this game is probally a month. But i paid thirty dollars on this game and overall i say that you should not waste your money so dont get this game or you will be happy when you play it but after playing about four or five games you will be mad at the money you spent and you will never touch the game ever again an you will probally sell the game just like i did. so overall the only cool part about this game is the mini games.

i love it the minigames are cool i like this one better than 5 or 7 in 5 it was good but i use to hate when the lady use to yell START FINISH 7 was ok... the fun party it was you can play as 8 characters i think but i didnt like dry bones in the cast but mario party 6 is amazing.

Mary party has always been a big part of my life. I remember when I was younger when I asked my mom to rent mario party 2 for the nintendo 64 about 10 times in row. Each time we rented it we had to pay at least a 25$ late fee because I didn't want to give it back. The later mario party games are just as fun. I like this one a lot better than 7 just because I like the mini games better and 5 was good as well. If you want to spend a lot of time having fun, laughing, and developing hate and love with your friends, or even if you just want to play against the computer like I usually do, than this is a great series.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Ricman006T Great Fun!
I got this game when it first came out and I love it! I play it at my buddy's house all the time and we sometimes have 4 people over and it is just simply a blast! The whole day and night theme really puts a crazy twist on the game, allowing the players to strategically plan their next move. The reason I didn't give this game a 10 is because the story mode is kinda weak, but I believe Mario Party is meant to be played in party mode most of the time. I recommend this game if you do not have it.
Rated 6 out of 10 by bunnyboy4ever Should've had a story mode!
This is the only Mario Party game I've played that was missing the story mode! The two hosts are arguing & I never even know how it ends! Don't get this get Mario Party 9. This feels like more of the same!

I think that this was the best mario party ever created due to the cool orbs, best orbs ever. The game boards are fun and very memorable the sun and moon hosts actually do something cool, I wont spoil the surprise. This is the only game where the hosts are not annoying. The minigames are fun and all new. In the map you could unlock there is a cool way of buying stars that is really fun. Again single player mode is not the greatest. This was truely excellent game.

I have had this game since I was 6 years old. It has been a good game since I got it. In this game you can choose a character and choose a game board. Then when you are on the game board you roll the dice to see who goes first. Then you roll the dice again to see how many spaces you move (1-10). There are different kinds of spaces on the game board. There is a blue, red, green, duel green,dk,bowser, and star space. I hope all of you enjoy this game!!

I got this game the first year it came out. I played it literally every day! I was always thinking I just want to play Mario Party!! Its very addicting! I unlocked everything, and i still love this game! The graphics are actually really good! The only flaw is that i wish there were more characters. Thats really the only bad thing. Other than that, this game is awesome! I highly reccomend this game to anyone. I love this game!! :D
Rated 9 out of 10 by A1B2 One of the best Mario Party Games ever!!!!!!!!
The summary says it all. This is one of the best Mario Party games ever! There are many great modes. There is a party mode, where you can have a party with up to 15 of your friends. I say 15 because there is a mode where 16 players can play at once. There is also a solo mode where you can play by yourself. There is a star bank where you can buy various prizes and games. This is one of those games that will stay inside your Gamecube for weeks.
