Mario Party 6 - Game Only
While Party 6 doesn't offer a majority of things new, it still pulls you in with its intuitive Mic
Mario Party 6, the Party released in 2004, is a solid game, and I like it a little better than 8. For one thing, 6 has a totally fun and hard to put down gameplay. Mario Party still manages to roll out the fun multiplayer action, unlike other party games of its time. The Mic is a wonderful new feature which adds an extra sense of feeling to the game. However, there are also some complaints. After all, I didn't give this game a 10. The main criticism of Mario Party is rehashing, which means that they kept using the same formula. Unlike 7 and 8, however, 6 almost feels totally new, which is a good thing. Party is a delightful romp to play single player. But 6 manages to pull out some fun mini games, so it still remains 4th best Party of all time. While Mario Party 6 may not feel the best of Mario games, it certainly holds a spot in Mario Party history as being a decent Party.
One of the best Mario Party Games ever!!!!!!!!
The summary says it all. This is one of the best Mario Party games ever! There are many great modes. There is a party mode, where you can have a party with up to 15 of your friends. I say 15 because there is a mode where 16 players can play at once. There is also a solo mode where you can play by yourself. There is a star bank where you can buy various prizes and games. This is one of those games that will stay inside your Gamecube for weeks.
The Party Is Still Rockin!
I've played almost every Mario Party game in the series (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) and to say the least, this game was the best out of all of them! Mario Party 6 offers a thorough and unique party gaming experience anyone could ask for and enjoy. There are about over 80+ minigames to unlock and play. Most of them include the basic Mario Party formula: chance and survival, but some are actually more in-depth and give players a sense of excitement and addiction. You might get bored of some minigames once you've only played them less than two times, even. Besides the regular minigames that use the Gamecube controller, there are now minigames that make use of the microphone peripheral! Cool isn't it? Ok, so let's move on to the party boards. There are a total of six boards (one of which is unlockable), and they all offer a unique way to go about getting the star. Whether it's trading 20 coins, or stealing stars from other players, you'll have a blast. And, they are all colorful and user-friendly. Of course, in the game, you've got the basic cast of veteran party-goers like Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi and Wario, but also some recent additions like Waluigi, Daisy, Boo, Toad, Koopa Kid (my favorite), and a new unlockable, Toadette. Unfortunately the character models aren't too great, and Donkey Kong is missing from the roster. Overall, the gameplay is basic, and the wide variety of game modes (Party, Solo, Minigame and Mic), add up to tons of free-spirited 4-player frantic fun. The only cons in the game are the graphics, which aren't anything near perfect, and the annoying sounds and music + the character voices. In general, I would recommend the game to anyone who is a "maniacal" Mario fan and party fan like myself, and someone who is ready to let go of the past mentality of the previous games and start fresh with new features and more changes. Oh, and I only recommend this to people who usually have tons of friends over almost all the time, or to people who have siblings or family than enjoy the series, because the single-player experience isn't too solid :)
Pretty awesome game
I like this game a lot. Any Mario Party is usually fun with 2 or more people. Almost all the Mario Partys are good (4-8) but this one I think is the one of the best Because you can use koopa kid (Baby Bowser) as a character but the cool things about this game is the boards and mini games. The boards are very cool and surprising and the mini games as well are cool and surprising. This game never gets old.
mario party 6
I have had this game since I was 6 years old. It has been a good game since I got it. In this game you can choose a character and choose a game board. Then when you are on the game board you roll the dice to see who goes first. Then you roll the dice again to see how many spaces you move (1-10). There are different kinds of spaces on the game board. There is a blue, red, green, duel green,dk,bowser, and star space. I hope all of you enjoy this game!!
Just another mario party game
This game was the first ever game i got for the game cube and i already had a ps2 and compared to some of teh games i had for the ps2 this game was nothing exciting with this game it was just another game. the grafics are pretty low teck for now a days and the graphics are a solid 4. and the sound is pretty good and i give it a 7. and the total time that you will play this game is probally a month. But i paid thirty dollars on this game and overall i say that you should not waste your money so dont get this game or you will be happy when you play it but after playing about four or five games you will be mad at the money you spent and you will never touch the game ever again an you will probally sell the game just like i did. so overall the only cool part about this game is the mini games.
Very Good Game
The boards are unique, the characters are cool and nostalgic, and the mini-games are creative. This is better than Mario Party 7 and 8 but not better than Mario Party 5. I would recommend this game to all party gamers but would suggest the fifth game over this one.
My Favorite Mario Party
Through all the Mario Party games, my favorite is 6. I love the boards, orbs, and mini-games. Everything about it is fun. The only thing i dont like is the character choice. I wish there was more to choose from. But all in all it is still my favorite Mario Party.
Best game ever
This game is my favorite out of all of the Mario party's in the series especially with the inclusion of the new mic.
Mario and luigi still rocks
i love it the minigames are cool i like this one better than 5 or 7 in 5 it was good but i use to hate when the lady use to yell START FINISH 7 was ok... the fun party it was you can play as 8 characters i think but i didnt like dry bones in the cast but mario party 6 is amazing.
