Product Details:

Continue your journey through the epic story of Middle-earth by fighting and battling your way against Orcs and other creatures in fully 3D interactive environments. As Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas, you'll be encouraged to balance and utilize each character's unique moves, skills, and weaponry in order to complete your quest.

Experience all the action of The Lord of the Rings, in the only video games based on the blockbuster movies. Join the fellowship as you journey south toward Gondor and experience all of the exciting moments from the films The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers.

Play as the three action heroes from the movies, Aragorn the Ranger, Legolas the Elf, and Gimli the Dwarf, each with unique fighting styles and upgradeable combat moves. Fight the evil forces of Sauron as you fend off hordes of orcs on the walls of Helm's Deep, battle an army of Uruk-Hai on the plains of Rohan, and take on the spider-like orcs of the Mines of Moria. Even face menacing boss monsters, including the horrendous Cave Troll in Balin's Tomb and the traitorous Saruman the White at Orthanc.

Using third-person action/adventure gameplay that emphasizes tactical sword fighting including blocks, parries, thrusts, and special moves, lead the fellowship through sixteen levels of beautifully rendered 3D environments. With scenes and dialog from both movies, and featuring the Academy Award-winning soundtrack from The Fellowship of the Ring, this is the definitive The Lord of the Rings interactive experience that could only be brought to you by EA GAMES.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stepping stone to Return of the King This game is a good game. Without it we wouldn't have had Return of the King. Great gameplay. Definitely one of the best games ever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lord of the Rings for the win! I loved this game. Not only was the gameplay, graphics and music great, but they had the actors do the voice work for thier characters. The game had a good amount of customization along with story. Unless youve seen the movies or at least read the books you probably wont understand the game that much. I also enjoyed all the interviews with Peter Jackson, Viggo Mortenson, Orlando Bloom and most of the cast from the game and movies. The levels were thought out and very exciting to play. The ability to switch from melee to ranged was very smooth. Everyone character had thier own fighting style along with pros and cons. It is a great game to buy and I would recommend it to any LotR fans.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good storyline At the beginning of the game, there is no introduction whatsoever, so I, as a person who has never seen Lord Of The Rings, has no idea what's going on. Also, there's WAY too many controls that are kinda redundant. Who needs three attack buttons???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from lord of the rings two towers This game is only one player and has amateur graphics but it can be set to be easy challenging or hard the controls work great once you get used to it. Storyline is good it follows the movie and has about 5 minutes total worth of movie clips. It has great length and it has missions most wouldn't think to add but it blends with the storyline it also has lots of cheats you unlock at the end of the game that make the game just as interesting the second third fourth and fifth time around. And the sixth and seventh and eighth ninth and 10th... lots of times. You also unlock a secret character at the end of the game. If you dont want to see it dont read the next line Isildaur however you spell that. It also has a sequel that is 2 player and it is just as good.
