Product Details:

In the hallways, labs and chambers of a shadowy compound, an unseen power is lurking. As a ghostly Spectral Operative, players must search for a physical body, which is mysteriously being kept alive somewhere in the enormous complex. Players won't always be alone though--as they explore, they must collect the energies of indigenous spirits to help unravel a mystery and build their own power. Some will help ... but beware, for not all the spirits are friendly. Prepare for a first-person adventure with a spectral twist!

* Explore the compound as a ghost, then possess more than a dozen unique character types using their weapons, equipment, skills, and even memories, to complete your goals. Possessions range from soldiers with guns to dog- and mouse-like creatures that can perform specialized physical tasks.

* Choose different characters and see the world in different ways.

* Travel through the human world virtually unseen, using your abilities to slip through cracks, interfere with electronics, move objects and more. Face challenges from two unique angles--as a possessed human or a lurking spirit hunting its prey.

* Prepare for death matches with the dead in all-new multiplayer modes that combine first-person combat with unique ghost and possession mechanics.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A must have This game is one of the most original fps games, and while not the best fps, it is a needed breath of fresh air for the genre. I would have loved to see a Giest 2, theirs really not anything like it (as far as i know) I wouldn't recommend this to someone looking for another cod or halo (though why you`d be looking at old game cube games for that, i don't know) This is probably one of those games youll ether love or hate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great value a great game, for 4 bucks it is an awesome value, the story is great, but the game it self is less do what you want as i thought it should. in one level you need to scare a chef, and you have certain things that you need to do to scare him, you cant change the water that hes washing the dishes with into blood, but instead blow smoke over his head. the gameplay is great when you can do what you want, but some of the puzzle levels are very tedious and specific in what you need to do. the boss fights are great also, if hard.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You posses people and objects FOR FREE This game is great it stands out from the rest of the FPS out there on the market. This game has a great story at least i think so, you start off as a solider and later get captured in the beginning of the game. The enemy you go against are doing creepy science projects and decide to use you for one of their projects. They put you in a machine where they separate your body and soul. Then you learn how to play as a spirit and star possessing people and objects such as a can of paint or dog food and the dog too. So you have to escape that huge military facility while trying to save one of your friends who was captured with you so their on you have to solve puzzles, fight bosses, posses people, kill demons who escape from the outer world, and its pretty bloody. The sound in this game sounds a little dead for the guns you use like the M-60 sounds like it's underwater but that dosent stop the game from being cool. As for multilayer if you have 3 friends who like games where you posses people and use their body for some tag team death matches you'll have a good time playing but highly recommend this for gamers who like to play metroid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Game Geist is a great game for its genre. It is a very playable game, with a nice challenge every once in a while. You have the choice of many characters to help you with different stages in the game. A cool thing about that is that different soldiers sometimes have different weapons, which could help you...or not. You being a soul can access different areas of the game that you can't access when in the body of something else. The host collectibles, ghost collectibles, and text logs throughout the main game adds a nice "rpg" aspect not normally found in most action games. One thing about this game though is when you are with an ally in the game it is very easy to shoot them. I am not talking about why friendly fire is not turned off, I mean that the cross hair stays the same color as an enemy, and therefor is easily mistaken if you are not careful.
