This is the best F-zero game ever made! There is so much to do in this game. You can do story mode which a lot of some level are hard but you beat them if you keep trying. The cutscenes in this game are really good. In the tournament mode you can pick a racer and race against tons of racers in the grand prix. One you earn money you can purchase racers and parts to create and custimize a vehicle. The car custimization is really good. In the game play all of the cars go really fast. A lot of the music and soundtracks are really good. The stages are made really well. The graphics are really good as well. You should definlitly pick this game up if you see it. If they make a sequel to this game on the wii they should make lots of new characters including Rick Wheeler (from GP Legends), New soundtracks, Comepletely new racing tracks, Lots of new custimizations, and the online should be really good.

F-zero GX is the 3rd f-zero console game for gamecube. the series has been known for its variety, difficulty, and most of all, SPEED! this is a futuristic racing game were cars are replaced with hover cars that go up to 3000 kg/h! design: I must say F-zero GX really shows what the gamecube can do. the graphics are simply amazing. even the vehicles are fully detailed, giving the machines a battle-scared look. the tracks are huge and twist through the air. some tracks are kind of frustrating, but they are tons of fun to drive through. the music is pretty much techno rock. each song fit's the mood of each track perfectly. It's a bit of a disappointment to see the music switch from rock (f-zero x) to techno. gameplay: the gameplay is fantastic! Except for multiplayer. All 30 cars on track make this game a fun challenge. It gets crowded sometimes though. But this game is FAST! ITS REALY FAST! IT'S SO FAST ITS ILLEGAL TO BLINK-AND-DRIVE! The speed provides a lot of action packed racing. The game runs smoothly and never glitches. Bad things: this game is WAY to hard. The tracks get a bit repetitive. Multiplayer sucks. No online.
Rated 8 out of 10 by THEGAMER423 Great Game; Cool Story Line
F-Zero GX is a great game. You have hovering vehicles that you can customize, and a multitude of drivers to go with them. On this game my favorite part was giving it a story line. The "campaign" feature, some might call, is still new to racing games and very hard to find. This is likely to be one of the first ever racing games to have such a good campaign. There are still expected things like riveting speeds and the fight for speed and glory. This game is one of the better game cube games and I would recommend it to you.

This in my opinion is a decent game. The gameplayis decent but other titles like mario kart are better. I must confess though the only reason i bought this game was because of captain falcon in super smash bros.Well anyway if you really like racers then you might want to try this, especially if you like kirby air ride. WARNING THIS GAME WILL KILL YOUR EYES AFTER ABOUT 20 MINUTES BECAUSE IT IS SO FAST!!!!!

F-Zero GX was surprisingly outsourced to a third party and one we all know real well. The game was developed by SEGA which I found to be cool. Which now its becoming more common for the big N. Graphically F-Zero GX was one of the pretty Gamecube games that really stood out upon its release to the market. Interesting art style mixed with high quality grahpics. The vehicles are not the most detailed but they look good enough. In the sound department I have no complaints. It seems everything dealing with the sound from the music and special effects were a well coordinated effort. Gameplay is fast and fun. At times the game can be tough of a rediculous level. But this difficulty adds to some frustration but it also adds the depth of replayability. What this means is sure you are going to get frustrated at times but that frustration is either going to make you do one of two things. 1. throw your controller on the ground or 2. Keep trying and trying to get better. There is enough tracks on here and theres 3 cups in grand prix. Theres time attack,vs and one of the more unique is the story driven one which is a blast once you get underway. Theres quite a few modes for an arcade racer and I suggest you try all of them. All in all F-Zero GX is a solid effort of an aging franchise and granted this game came out back in 03 if I remember correctly it is still fun to play to this day. If you can withstand challenging gameplay your gonna fall in love with this title. I do not know if there will be a sequal on the Wii or not but I def. recommend this title for anyone with a Gamecube or a Wii.
Rated 8 out of 10 by Kylorino It's so much fun, but really hard.
F-Zero GX is the most intense racing game I've ever played. This is probably because it is extremely fast paced and full of action. Either I'm really bad at, or it is extremely hard. I played on the lowest difficulty setting and I could only beat the first grand Prix cup. I am generally good at racing games, so I'm guessing this game is just hard. I would not recommend this game to anyone under the age of ten years. The controls are just what you would expect in a racing game. Move with the control stick, The "A" button is to accelerate, "Y" is to boost if you reach the second lap, and "X" is to attack. You can also switch between first and third person by pressing up on the D-pad. Now I'm going to talk about the aspects of the game. there's a regular grand Prix mode, a story mode, and multiplayer. The grand prix mode is really fun. The courses are awesome, twisting in every direction. Speeding through the courses is so much fun, especially with the well-fitting music. The story mode is pretty good. The cutscenes were well-made and fun to watch, but the gameplay is way too difficult. I can barely get past the second part, and it can be pretty aggravating trying over and over again to win. Then again, maybe it's just me. I might be just bad at it, but I doubt it. The multiplayer mode is just as one would expect, each player selecting their vehicle then selecting a stage and racing. What I really like about this game is that you go super fast and it is extremely intense. If you are good at racing games and are up for a challenge, this is a game for you. It is a really fun game, but really, really difficult.
Rated 10 out of 10 by DJ2010 The sickest racing ever!!!

f-zero gx is a great game if you liked high speed racing. the only thing is story mode is way hard and lots of stuff to get on.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Schme Boyard F-Zero GX is the best Gamecube racer, one of the best racers ever
F-Zero GX is the final console version of the popular F-Zero racing series, and it is one of the best racers ever created. The race style is futuristic and like many Nintendo franchises is a bit cartoon-ish, but there is some simulation involved and really good physics (A mix between a game-style like MarioKart and Need For Speed). The Good: A wide variety of over 40 characters, race against 29 other CPU's in any given race, Fastest racer you will ever play, Excellent car/part/paint scheme customizations (every machine is unique in performance, too), Over 25 tracks, 4 difficulties (one of the hardest racers ever), ability to save race replays, Story Mode (one of the best new features in the game, provides backstory to the F-Zero "universe"), character/machine biographies and movies, big soundtrack with primarily fast-pace techno music (over 50 soundtracks, you are pretty much guaranteed to like or hate a few of them), Time-trial mode, lots of unlockables, best graphics for any gamecube game, easy-to-learn controls. The Bad: F-Zero wasn't really meant for multiplayer (though a sub-par 4-player mode exists), No online (like the majority of Cube games), Hard to master (most players will never make it through the whole game), gameplay music can't be changed for certain tracks on certain modes, can't name your own customizable machine (name is based on the parts), no custom characters (although you will probably like at least one of the 41), tracks get just a tad repetitive after a while. The Ugly: Octoman In the end, F-Zero GX is a must-buy considering it definitely worth way more than edit (but sells for less) even if you don't especially like racers. The customizable features go about as far as they can for any racing game and there is a super variety of characters, tracks, vehicles, etc. The goods definitely outweigh the bads--this game gets 9.5 stars, almost perfect.
Rated 10 out of 10 by ssg3000 His name is Captain Falcon.
This game is a sequel to the futuristic racing Nintendo franchise known as F-Zero. You may know it a bit due to Captain Falcon's appearances in the Super Smash Bros. series, or because you played one of the other ones. Either way SEGA did a great job making a fantastic racing game with plenty to do and plenty of challenge along with it. Gameplay 9.5/10 - The gameplay itself is topnotch. This futuristic racing game will have you trying to struggle to the top of all 30 racers, using strategic use of your boost, memorizing the track layout , and even knocking out all your rival competitors! The track design is topnotch as well, although a little frustrating at times. I just wish there were more "area" design types. The controls are really responsive, and what happens is totally up to you and your reaction speed. Also there are standard "Prix" modes, along with a fairly cheesy (Yet hard) story mode. Challenge 10/10 - Plenty of difficulty here, especially if you go for the Very Hard challenges. Only in time you'll develop the reflexes needed to win. By the way, it's not like a Mario Kart's "rubberband", or "always behind you", difficulty. Graphics 10/10 - SEGA makes great use of the GameCube's hardware to make a games that looks pretty darn good when going fast or slow. Everything looks bright and vibrant, and nothing looks out of place. The menus are fairly simple, but they get the job done. Music 9/10 - The music in my opinion is just awesome, as each techno track fits the mood for each setting. The only reason a point is taken off is because some people are disappointed by the change to techno when compared to F-Zero X's also fitting hard rock. Overall this game deserves a 10/10 rating, and is fully recommended to anybody who likes racing games, hard games, or heck, simply wants to see the best version of a game Captain Falcon is from.
