Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2
Dragon World Killed it! In a bad way.
The game is pretty boss. Great graphics and a lot of fusion characters. But when it comes to Dragon World, they blew it. I mean, they make it a game board type story. There are like 9 levels, and I know that sounds easy, but you have to:
1. Defeat the enemies, who have at LEAST 3 lives
2. Collect capsules, which have skills, but will involve beating up other enemies that you don't need to kill.
3. Get the dragonballs, forcing you to dig them up in the ground. However, these will give you the power to summon shenron to get breakthrough capsules (a capsule that gives you access to every move for a character). You only get 1 wish, so after that you must restart over and over again.
4. Get all the characters. You must beat people with certain people to unlock most of the characters.
In case you haven't noticed, you can't do all this at one time. That's right, you have to restart to successfully do all this. Also, forgot a dragonball and you already beat story mode? TOUGH. There is NO level select, so if you forget a dragonball, guess what? Back to stage one. Please reconsider, I haven't had the game a month and I'm already bored with it. There have to be other Dragonball z games out there, don't get this one.
Its Good it just needs a little improvement.
All it needed was a story other from that it was a great game still is and i hope they make a budokai 4 at least something thats better then the kinect version.
Great Game I ever played!! BEST THING EVER
THIS GAME IS AWESOME . Everything is great about this game!! I reccomend to buy!! The Graphic is Great and songs are AWESOME!!
This is by far is one of my most favorite dragon ball z games do to its awesome combat system and the insane feeling you get when you fight! The only flaws i see is the fact that the story mode is one of the worst layouts ever. They made it into the format of a game board. The other flaw is not enough characters. There should have been at least 50 characters in this game but instead i think there's like 25 or 30 something, i dont know. Overall this game is truly amazing and i would still definatley recommend this!
A Good Game...
This game is different, that's what makes it cool. The story line is unique and fun. It's so different from Budokai 1. Buy this if your a true Dragon Ball fan.
very good game
i thougt this game is very cool, i like that you can be buu(concidering that he is my favorite character) and that you can be all these new characters. only down side is the story mode. the grid 3rd person type is hard to me. i would love if it where like the first game.one last thing. i dont no if its me but the grafics where kinda fuzzy.
my childhood game
i got this game back in 2004 and and i loved it the graphics are awsome for an old game and i love how theres a large varitey of characters and tons of moves and fighting combos its a good one for people who like fighting games
a great fighter on the gamecube
i have had this game since i got my gamecube and it still has a lot of gameplay value in it. if your a dbz fan i dont know why you dont have this because it has a great character list, easy controls, and lots of modes that ceep you busy for a awile. i would recomen you get this game before you get budokai 1. if you dont like dbz and you like fighters you should check this out
Overall great and a lot of lasting fun.
This game i played a lot when i was a kid it evolved from budokai and i find the board in dragon mode a lot of fun. The gameplay was so addicting i didn't know when to stop playing. The graphics are okay but its not like the graphics are going to be like raging blast 2's and the gameplay was a lot less confusing then budokai 3's. I never got tired of the soundtrack, it may have always been the same but it was great. The fun never ends if you have a friend or brother or something who always wants to play.
vegita is the best
The game is good for ages 7 and up because dragon ball Z is usial for second and up graders. The graphics are between OK and really good.
