Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure is a pretty good game if you ask me. It features everyone's favorite Disney/Pixar characters in a fun skateboarding experience. Camera Angle: For the most part, the camera follows the players' actions and moves around perfectly, almost every time. There are a few instances where the camera does block off the view once in awhile, when attempting to jump and grind, but nothing that severe. Challenge: The game is simple for children, but it's great for the whole family to enjoy. It is certainly geared towards kids, though. Controls: The controls for the game are rock-solid. The buttons work well and it is easy to master combo tricks, too. I have to say that there are, of course, some problems here and there, but not quite often. Graphics/Animation: Cheerful, colorful, fairly decent graphics for the Nintendo Gamecube, although it doesn't show off the system's top capabilities. Interface: Easy-to-navigate menus and uncluttered gameplay screen. Excellent job in this area. Sound: The music for this game is definately one of my favorite parts. The soundtrack features lively pop tracks and some Disney tunes. The sound effects are also great. (ex: birds chirping, skateboard wheels moving, etc.) Statistics: Probably one of the game's letdowns, the statistics are generally unbalanced and disproportioned. Team/Player Variety: Good use of the Disney/Pixar characters (Woody, Buzz, Rafiki, Simba, etc.) and a solid Create-A-Skater mode with tons of customization options. It would have been nice to have seen a few more unlockables. Overall, I must admit I am impressed with this game. But, it's repetitive nature and disappointing multiplayer make it hard to recommed. I would only suggest going out to buy this title if you like extreme sports and the whole Disney/Pixar thing, or else you won't find anything astonishing with Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure. It is also more suitable for kids than for older gamers, so be aware of that. Real Score: 7.5.
