Rated 9 out of 10 by tenorhawk Great story, great game, great 007.
Nightfire is considered to be one of the best of the 007 game series; it's a great first person shooter with a wonderful, original plot that harkens back to the best moments of the franchise, with undertones of Moonraker and The World is Not Enough throughout the campaign. I've been playing Nightfire for years and still find new things I didn't see before; new options for gameplay new parts of maps, new easter eggs, new unlockables, and more. It has aged fairly well, though its graphics could never compete with more recent incarnations of the Bond gaming franchise. Multiplayer is wonderful, complete with skins and bots from the stars of past Bond movies. It's not as good mechanically as Agent Under Fire's multiplayer, but a great addition none the less. I'd say this and Everything or Nothing were the peak of EA's possession of 007 gaming rights. I'd recommend this as one of the best Bonds for a first person, EoN for third person.
Rated 10 out of 10 by yomama2 One of the best FPS ever
This is one of the best first-person shooter games ever. James Bond looks EXACTLY like Peirce Brosnan. The music is like a James Bond movie would be. There are a lot of different weapons from pistols to guided rocket launchers. NightFire is challenging especially the later levels and the higher difficulty setting. The storyline is great. The game is just long enough. The levels are varied, you can even drive a submarine. Now on to muliplayer. it lags sometimes on multiplayer but it's not much of a problem. There are limitless ways to custimize the multiplayer games. You can change many things about the AI bots and there are many different weapon setups or you can choose random and its always different. In multipalyer you can drive a tank or a helicopter. Thre are many different game modes from normal deathmatch to team deathmatch to capture the flag and a lot of different game modes. If you have a gamecube this is a must-buy.
Rated 6 out of 10 by ChazTheGamer Ok... But it has some big cons
Overall the game is ok. It gets really boring after a while though. I'm not a good FPS player though. For example been trying to beat the first level for 4 hours now. I picked this game up because I wanted to have some practice before I pick up Goldeneye 007 With Controller, for nintendo wii. I'm getting that in a couple of days anyway. (for christmas) (4 days away) But before you buy this game you need to read these Cons: Multiplayer Characters take forever to kill (30 bullets from machine gun to chest before they die), gets boring without online play (i know its a gamecube game but if your playing it on wii why not add online play?) The guns are kind of lame you always start out with like the worst weapon (small sucky pistol). And have to find new ones. Career mode uneasy is hard for me but I guess it's because I suck. Overall I give this game a 6/10 I've seen way better FPS games for GameCube

Excellent excellent game. The thrill of the kill when you shoot someone is really great. The graphics, especially for the gamecube, are very well done. After you're done with the storyline, you can play it again, and you can find secret passages that you normally don't go through. It took me a while to find them though. It takes a while to beat, but the last mission was pretty stupid. I don't really wanna spoil it, so I'll just say you only have one gun in that level and you do the same thing over and over again. Sound, well, I never really thought about it. If it was bad I would have caught that, and as far as I can remember, they're also pretty good. Controls are pretty good, and to sum it all up, I'd say this is a must buy. For ten bucks there really isn't much of a downside. If you're a Bond fan and enjoy the previous games, you'll most likely like this one.

Ok, i've had this game since 2004. I now have moved on to xbox 360 and is 14. I still play this game at least 3 times a week. When i first got this in 2004, i was shocked. This game is AMAZING. There is everything you need without a doubt. There's a great storyline with a very fun one player mode and there is a even better multiplayer mode. You can play against bots however you would like and it feels like your playing online on a xbox 360. The bots are customized by you, and believe me, these bots can be customized at a very very very hard level. I'm a teen who loves to play games such as call of duty, but i still love this game after 5 years of playing and i STILL PLAY THIS GAME. Theres helicopters and tanks too in multiplayer. You can play tons of different modes such as team, capture the flag, free for all, and a ton ton more. I recomend this game all the way. I swear, you will not be bummed if you get this game. It's an amazing game, and very amazing for a gamecube game. Get it, believe me, this game is amazing and you will never ever ever ever ever get bored of it. There's action, shooting, driving, and flying.

This game is great!!! Single player features many missions with varying difficulties and skill levels. This game features many weapons (2 machine guns, an uzi, a shotgun, 2 snipers, 2 rocket launchers, 2 grenade launchers, a laser, a crossbow, bombs, and many handguns). Creating codenames to use in single player and multiplayer allows you to tweak just about every option you can think of, like over 10 different control types, how you aim, and your weapon preferences, and more. But, by far, the best feature is multiplayer! My friends and I always like to play 4-player and face 6 computer players as a team. You can change the weapon sets, friendly fire, whether your name is posted, explosive scenery, points, duration, etc. You can't go without this game! With great playability, not to mention the quality sound, you can't go wrong!
Rated 9 out of 10 by Jagr1368 007 NightFire is a must for Bond fans!!!
I'm one of the people who are stuck with a Game Cube. Fortunately, EA has made Bond games for the Cube. One of them is NightFire. It came out in 2002. Let's start with the graphics. They're great. Bond looks exactly like Pierce Bronson. His voice, though, isn't Bronson, but instead another voice that sort of sounds like his. He will act like Bond as well. The other characters are great too, such as: M, and Q. Of course the Bond girls. The gameplay is outstanding, with variety of single and multiplayer levels. The controls are great, both with shooting and driving. The sound comes to life with explosions and gunshots. EA made one of the best shooter games out there. NightFire is one of the best Bond games out there. I would definitely recommend NightFire to any Bond fan. If you're stuck with a Game Cube, then you'll have to get NightFire!
Rated 10 out of 10 by Neilinator The Best Multiplayer Shooting Game Ever
Bond 007: Night Fire is definitely one of the best multiplayer games ever. The four player split screen has so many modes. Assassination, Capture the Flag, Top Agent and Team Arena. This game is even better if you have a friend to play with. After a while, the game gets boring unless you accept the challenge. The best way to play the game is by making all of the AI Bot as tough as they can be. The you play four on two with a friend. It is really fun. Night Fire is the game for all James Bond fans. The single player is also very good. The first levels are easy, but then it becomes quite challenging as you advance to the finals levels. You get to drive beastly cars like the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish. If you want your name to be Bond, James Bond, then this is definitely the game for you. Get this game, you'll love it.
Rated 8 out of 10 by NewbornRiddler Good James Bond game.
Peirce Brosnan is my favorite Bond other than Sean Connery so that fact that his Bond character is in the game made it so much better. The graphics were actually very good for a Game Cube game and the controls are a bit wierd, but nothing you wouldnt get used to. My only problem is that in the cutscenes they show him holding the Walther P99 instead of the gun that your using the Walther PPK (Wolfram PP7). The ability to switch fire modes and to put on and take off a silencer was one of the few things that made the game great. It isnt just a shooting game though, you also have to sneak around without killing any guards and use your gadgets to progress the mission. If that still doesnt excite you, you also get to drive the Bond car. It handles great and the gadgets on it are pretty cool. This is a great game for any Bond lover!
Rated 10 out of 10 by Game frek Best game for gamecube
This game is a good game for the gamecube. The thing I like the best is multiplayer. You get to choose your setting like have mini helicopter or mini tank, put how many bots you want, customize your own bot, choose the set of weapons, and you have 12 scenarios to play. There are 12 missions that are really fun but the hardest mission is deep descent. You will find out what that mission is about. And the funniest mission is the countdown in my opinion. There are 45 gadgets and weapons and I will name some-wolfram pp7 golden gun aims-20 stromm32 winter covert sniper grapple ronin and my personal favorite is at-sentinel. In some missions you get to ride in the car which has missiles and a machine gun. I recommend this game for any person that likes action packed games. Do you have what it takes to be Bond?
