Product Details:

Venture to a fantastic island filled with magical monsters in a far distant world. The "Black Evil" has taken over this lush and colorful land and captured the once-happy Maboo tribe natives. Drawing on your imagination and endless possibilities, you must create your own monster and enter it into nearly 30 different competitions involving timing, speed, and head-to-head battles against the "Black Evil" to win back the island and banish the evildoers!

* Patented Monster Editing System creates an untold number of monsters, each with distinctive features and abilities.

* With each successful competition, unlock new features for monster enhancement and possession of one of eight magic orbs.

* Transfer your monster to Game Boy Advance to take on three of your friends or play alone and acquire special GBA-only monster-building items.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Horrible, a disgrace for a video game I may recommend this game to small children, but most likely not to young adults. The storyline is horrible in my opinion. A boy/girl (your choice) comes and finds a book about many amazing creatures living happily together and one night one of the creatures contacts him/her in his/her sleep, sying that that person is the only one who can save them. Controls- The controls are pretty simple for the most part so that's good. At the beginning of each minigame, it explains the controls step-by-step so you should have no problem with that. Interface- You can be involved in this game a lot. By using the monster editing system, you can create as much of your own monsters as you want, with different patterns, voices, and accessories. You can also take 'Fotos' of your monster creations as well. Sound- The sound is okay for the most part besides the horrible choices they have for voices for your monster. It usually plays a nice tune in the background of every minigame and when you're just walking around. Graphics/Animation- Pretty blocky for the most part, especially what your monster looks like after you are done creating it. The pastel colors that are available to use on your monsters have especially bad graphics. Realism- Well, of course this game has absolutely no reality in it. It's all leaning towards fairy-tale-ish because first of all, a boy/girl gets sucked into a FAIRY TALE book where you get to create our own monster creations... does that sound very real to you?
