Nintendo GameCube Controller
The Best Controller You Can Get!
The Nintendo brand controllers are just one of many different controllers that are available for your Gamecube system. I have had my Gamecube for about four years now, and my Nintendo brand controllers are the only ones that haven't had something go wrong with them. My MadCatz controllers have wires that are starting to short out, but my Nintendo controller is just fine. These are the most comfortable controllers out there, too, with all the buttons in the right places and how your hands just seem to go around them very naturally. The controller sticks work fine, too, and the buttons don't have too much give. I have never had a problem with these controllers, and they are the only controller I would recommend to somebody that needs a new controller, because of their comfort and durability!
Best controller ever
-Works great with most Virtual Console games
-Good button layout
I recently bought a Spice Orange (Japan only) controller from my local Gamestop. Worth the $15. Even though, yes, it does need some cleaning, it works great! For a Japan only controller, it actually works on my American Wii! I only had one minor problem that was probably only just me; it made the controls go weird on Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (VC version of course). Just needed to take it out the plug it back in. It offers pretty smooth control and once you get used to it, you might never want to go back to the Classic Controller. (Unless your using the Classic Controller Pro). However, it doesn't work well with NES/SNES games, mainly because the D-Pad is in a sort of awkward position, making it so you can only play the 3-d games well. If you are a fellow owner of Mega Man X, I do not recommend using it, as the way you control is weird. But, no worries. This controller is FAR better than the GameStop brand or MadCatz or whatever. I fully reccomend this product to anyone.
Best controller made. Next to the 360 controller..
The comfortable and futuristic feel of the controller make it a must have if you want to play gamecube games on your Wii or if you still have an actual gamecube. DO NOT get a gamestop brand controller for gamecube or any console, all of them are cheaply manufactured as if they make them in the back of their actual store. Go for the Nintendo brand. They are super strong and the buttons are near life time use.
Works Great Even After 8 Years!!!!!!
Ive had my silver gamecube controller for a little over 8 years now and to this day it still is in perfect condition and I have never had a problem with it! It is a very durable and lightweight control. It is very comfortable to hold in your hand to! It take very little time to memorize where the buttons are. It is very rare though for the control to make the character you are playing as move on it's own but other than that it is very accurate. By the way I've had my this control came with my gamecube.
had mine for 10 years
This in my opinion is the best controller ever made. It is so durable it survived since i was five years old and it was my first controller and I still have mine today. It is the most comfortable controller ever made, but the cord is kind of short.
I like the futuristic design fits very comfortably in your hand.
last generation's best controller
this is a great controller, it seems to fit into your hand, and the buttons are well laid out. it's to bad the cable length is short.
mostly good unless you get a really bad one
my dad owns a wii at first we just played wii games, but then my dad heard that you could play gamecube games on a wii. so he went out and bought luigis mansion and a game cube controller, it worked great, but me and my little brother wanted to play multiplayer on dragon ball z so we asked our mom to get us a second one, it didn't work that good, some times it would come out once or twice some times we would have to get up every 30 seconds to plug it back in or we would have to sit so close it hurt our eyes so if you get a good one yay if you get one like mine, hope you like sitting up real close to the tv (or having to get up a bunch to plug it back in)
Also extremely overrated.
First off the D-pad is way to stiff so I don't recommend this for 2D games. also I prefer having all the buttons at the same size; You have no idea how often you'll accidentally press the A-button! Also you can get the analog stick cover off. Overrall it's definitely not as good as the Wii remote or Wii U gamepad! That's right I PREFER THE WII U GAMEPAD!
I was VERY fourtunate that one of these controllers came with my refurbished Gamecube as the nintendo brand gamecube controllers are getting very scarce at retailers like Gamestop. Although I've only had it for a few days, I can very well say that I am one happy customer. The overall build and quilty of materials used in this controller are in my opinion far superior than any 3rd party controller that you may find. I also have one of those Gamestop brand Gamecube controllers but it has barely had any use out of it since I bought it because I use my nintendo brand controller everytime I play my gamecube. If you are looking for a top quality gamecube controller then I highly recommend this one as it is the best.
