Rated 6 out of 10 by sonichedgehog45 good sense of speed. but thats all.
hand held sonic titles seem to forget that sonic games arent fun when your just watching sonic run for five minutes. sonic games are also about bashing through enemies and avoiding hazards in order to keep your speed up. but theadvance series are basically just run fast and jump a few times, YOU WIN! and another major issue I have with hand held sonic games are usually sonic isn't the fastest character? sonic sticks to his roots in this title by running fast and having gorgeous level designs but it's just no fun watching the blue blur run for five minutes befor pressing the jump button and watching him run for another five minutes. overall most fans will be happy with this title but I think sonic is only sticking to his roots half way. But it does offer speed which is more than most sonic titles offer.
Rated 8 out of 10 by 1012killer still a great game. however...
sonic the hedgehog games are known for wonderful sound, fast gameplay, and great graphics. sonic advance 2 has all that, but close-to-impossible boss battles might annoy younger players. and obviously, collecting 7 special rings is a chore. especially when you end up losing a life anyways. that was why i never got a single chaos emerald in the whole game (i didn't even try to after the 1st time) the one thing that annoys me most is that if i had 6 lives, and turned off my GBA, then the computer would reset it to simply 2 lives. Cream the rabbit levels are too much of a pushover, and the knuckles boss battle (sonic vs. Knuckles) is even harder than all other bosses. and Knuckles becomes a crybaby, knowing that Robotnik/Eggman tricked him. First thing you know, fans will be embarressed by this.

Sonic advance 2 is my favorite sonic advance game because of the great graphics and great sound. The only thing that I really don't like about this game is that in sonic advance 1 you got the tiny chao garden right off the bat but in this game you have to collect 7 chaos emerald as 1 character. Besides that this game is really fun.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Dman17 Its great but.....
I think Sonic Advance series is the best Sonic games that have ever been released on the handhelds. This game is fun fast paced and addictive but its just not quite as good as the last Sonic Advance. It just seems with Sonic and really most games in general that the original is almost always the best.
Rated 9 out of 10 by assasinninjaTK Pretty good for classic 2d sonic gamers
If you really love 2d sonic games it would be perfect for you.The same sonic that got you going into 2d games is back and better than ever!Plus they added nice touches into it like the graphics and super speed boost.BUT: you might find this slightly hard.
Rated 10 out of 10 by mariofan70000000000000000 So fun you'll go supersonic!
It's excellent! In this game you can play as Knuckles,Sonic,Tails,or Amy and it's multiplayer(Only Sonic and Tails begin with the game, Knuckles and Amy have to be unlocked). It's the remake of the classic Sega Genesis and Sega Master System Title!
Rated 9 out of 10 by pokeman4512 Good, but not great
This game is like all Sonic games. That classic super fast hedgehog zooming through worlds and defeating Eggman. What I like about this game is that you can play as Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Cream, and Amy. My recommendation is that you use Cream. Good game in general.
Rated 10 out of 10 by sgt117 One of the best Sonic classics.
The game plays great and the music is good to. The graphics are excellent for the time it was created and even newer standards. it's a perfect way to celebrate Sonic's 20th year in gaming.
Rated 7 out of 10 by smithy1 i like the first one better
