by branflakes12 a great game,only flaw......SOUND AND MUSIC
pokemon emrald rocked! i mean all the legendarys you can catch is amazing,at least 7 intotal..... i think. the 1 problem of the game was the music and sound. it was so boring the same thing over and over again. plus it was muffeled in the backround. the gym leaders and elite 4 were a challange but it was a fun challenge. i love how u can catch kyogre and groudon AND rayquaza. all there instead of just 1. over all the game was really good

This game surpasses any of my expectations of it and I really like it. U can never get bored of this game because there is always something to do there. Also, there’s a neat thing that u can clone your own Pokemon in the battle tower and what I do is get like valuable items like master balls and rare candies and make the Pokemon hold them so u can have some easy captures and raise Pokemon easily. Beside from Pokemon sapphire and ruby, emerald is a much better game because of the added battle tower and battle frontier. Otherwise, me, myself is trying to find other neat tricks in the game and I heard a chisme that you can switch your normal Pokemon to the rental ones in the battle frontier… is that true? Well I saw it in a review in this website but they erased it the next day!!!! So is anyone have any new tips or tricks in the emerald game then review this game and ill read it. Overall, this game is worth the money I spent on it. I give it 9.5 out of 10.
Rated 10 out of 10 by ColorfulKisses As a 14 year old girl, I love this!
When I was younger, I was in love with the Pokemon series, I played the first two generations as a child. Remember when the games were so big? I do. I got my games for my birthday. So, when I found out there was a new generation (I consider generation 3 Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald). I begged my parents to get me Ruby. They agreed and I got Ruby, my cousin got Sapphire and our uncle, whose older by 3 years, got Emerald. We loved those games and we traded. Finally, it was my turn to get Emerald, I fell in love with the game. I loved that the characters looked a little different, and I soon played it whenever I could. I got obsessed with it! I loved it. I soon forgot where I placed my game. Maybe a year later, my mom bought me Emerald again and I soon beat the Elite 4. It was amazing that there was so much more I could do! Personally, I believe you all would love Emerald. It has so much that everyone will enjoy! Happy gaming!

I would have to say this game is maybe a 7/10 because first the legendary pokemon freaking insane, its pretty good! Just one of the things I dont really like is that pokemon emerald, sapphire, and ruby, are the excact same game!!!!!! Except the fact that the legendary pokemon are different. And that this game came out in 2005 and it's still 40$ soooooo that is one of the main reasons why I give it a 7/10 if u want the BEST pokemon GBA game, then I think u should get pokemon sapphire, cause the legendary pokemon can be caught without a master ball, it's SOOOOOO ESAY so I recommend pokemon sapphire. I think u guys should get pokemon sapphire NOT THIS and SAVE the master ball and go on YouTube.com and look up cheats or glitches and get the ALLTIME BEST POKEMON AND I CAN'T GIVE U GUYS THE NAME.... YOU HAVE TO BUY POKEMON SAPPHIRE!!!! Trust meeeeee! Emerald is the one u get last. Thanks for listening LISTEN TO MEEEEEE
Rated 7 out of 10 by Bubba the oak knoll school jokester This game was fun at first, but it got really boring later.
This game is fun...for a while. It gets boring after about a year and a half. The game is fairly challenging, however, it is not as hard or as easy as I like video games to be. For a Game Boy Advance game, the graphics are pretty good. The controls are easy to know, because they are like any other GBA game, but they are so easy to know that I don't like them that much. . The interface is pretty good, but doesn't quite make a 10. In some parts of the game, the music sucks, but in other parts, the music can be really interesting and fun to listen to, and sometimes, the music makes you say, "What the heck?" out loud. The character customization is lame. You cannot customize your character at all. You choose between boy and girl and you choose your name, which boots my character customization rating from 1 to 2. The length of the game wasn't as far as I wanted. The storyline was average.
Rated 10 out of 10 by GAMERSINFO12 SWEET GAME
I got this game a long time ago when i first started really liking pokemon. i think this game is so fun! it is my favorite pokemon game and region. i love the plot which is amazing. i play it on my game boy micro(another great product) which is really fun. i used to play it on my ds but now i have a dsi which does not have a gba slot. its awesome how u can get all three regis, groudon, kyogre and rayquaza. in this game you have to stop both team aqua and magma which is really fun. i like the battle frontier because it is challenging and you have something to after you beat the game. i love the pokemon in the pokedex. and also afterwards you can try to catch latios or latias i forget which one but their both awesome. what i am really hoping for is that they make a remake for this on the ds like they are doing with heart gold and soul silver which i cant wait for.
Rated 10 out of 10 by okami1113 Predecessor For All Standards Afterwards
I played this game until the internal battery ran out of juice. Before I continue the review, I have to say that the best idea is to find this game in "NEW." The batteries would be well dead if played by a hard core cloner (how to clone is later in the review.) For its time, it is a marvel and a standard for any of its brethren. Though you will through your DS Lite at the darn wall a couple of times because there are so many NPCs that go out their way to cheat. Nonetheless, Emerald will always be in the corner of my room somewhere. Now for the clone cheat. First go to the Battle Frontier. Next, go to the Battle Tower. Go to the PC and deposit the pokemon you would like to clone (their held items will be cloned as well!)Next, SAVE THE GAME. Withdraw the pokemon you JUST PUT IN. Now, go to the lady furthest to the right. (MANDATORY!) Select OPEN LEVEL! she will ask for you to pick three pokemon. (MANDATORY) She will ask to save, select YES, a pause will occur, she will ask to save again, now say NO. Restart Game. Go in PC, CLONES CLONES CLONES! Great if you have a Deoxys or Mew. JUST REMEMBER TO SEND ME ONE on SoulSilver, my name is Okami.
Rated 10 out of 10 by pokeman4512 Definitely worth the money
Amazing game. I like how instead of battling just Team Aqua or Team Magma (those are the evil organizations of the Hoenn region games) you battle both. I love the story line and the camera pan when Kyogre and Groudon battle each other is sweet!! Steven is not the Hoenn champion any more, it's Wallace who was the 8th gym leader in Sapphire and Ruby versions. You can obtain Kyorge, Groudon, AND Rayquaza in this game as opposed to catching only two of them in Sapphire and Ruby. The only catch is that you can't catch them until after you've beaten the Elite Four. All of them are Lv.70 when you encounter them so bring strong Pokemon. And you only have one shot to catch all 3 so SAVE before you battle one just in case you knock it out or flee from the battle. Great game. A must have classic.
Rated 10 out of 10 by therunner All-time fav, gameplay over graphics, replayable
This was one of the first games I ever played. (maybe 6-7 years ago?) The first time I played it was the best of course, that's expected. After I beat it the first time, I put it down for a while and went on to other games (also expected). After a while I came back to it, and it was just as fun, giving more hours of game time than very few other games I've played. Games these days have a focus on graphics, making appeal higher, but gameplay....sucks...(sorry PS3 games...) Pokemon emerald focuses much more on gameplay than on graphics (unlike the latest versions....), and the graphics are amazing (in their own way...but that's my opinion) Whenever I'm bored I STILL will restart the game and play over again...and PS...buy this over Ruby and Sapphire! (better stuff on emerald)
Rated 9 out of 10 Very Good
Very good and long game. It's a Gameboy product so the graphics are still 2D, but it's of course a big step up from Gold/Silver/Crystal. Very colorful and enjoyable. Has all the things Ruby/Sapphire plus many more things to do, most notably the Battle Frontier. Game also includes all Pokemon from both versions and many more legends too. Overall, this game is pretty solid. The most enjoyable thing of course is the length and the time it takes to level up each Pokemon. Another negative thing is the music, sure it's better than previous consoles/games, but it really should have better sound. Anyone will enjoy this game, I recommend it to all Pokemon fans. It'll be good for those just beginning to like Pokemon or for past people who already know about it and still enjoy it.
