Words cannot describe the feeling of a rainbow that has run away. But My Little Pony & Friends will try to understand, with the help of the Crystal Princess.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from My Little Pony (GBA) ========= Warning ========= I feel that I need to warn anyone that stumbles across this review that I'm not a member of the target audience for this game. This game is clearly geared towards toddlers while I'm adult in my early twenties. And, my only reason for playing this game is because of a joke review someone did about it on youtube. ========= Gameplay ========= This game is largely broken up into two sections. The main focus of the game is on fetch quests where you'll need to explore the area your in looking for various items and then bringing them back to a specific character. The other section of the game is a small collection of mini games that range from a simple simon says to a pinball machine. I tend to find the mini games the worst part to be honest since the game doesn't punish you for failure at all. These mini games tend to be rather easy and there isn't anything wrong with simply saying "please, try again" or something. Instead the game rewards you even if you get a score of 0 with telling the player what a great job they did. I guess, I'm just expecting the game to be easy, but still willing to tell kids to try harder if they don't meet or exceed a specific score. ========= Graphics ========= Graphically speaking the game is pretty average. It isn't anything special, but it isn't grating on the eyes either. ========= Sound ========= The game is sort of annoying in this area since it essentially plays the same track in a constant loop. It grows old rather quickly in my opinion and only aids in dragging the game down. ========= Lasting Appeal ========= There isn't much appeal to be had here to be honest. The story is to simplistic to have much appeal to an older player, and much of the gameplay is rather dull and repetitive. The mini games help to break up the monotony a little bit, but you don't have any choice over what mini games you play and when you'll play them for a good chunk of the game. ========= Scores ========= Gameplay: 4 Graphics: 7 Sound: 2 Lasting Appeal: 3 Overall: 4
