Rated 10 out of 10 by JDMiller GBA at its MAX potential.
The amount of content in this game is incredible, considering it is a portable platform. I'm a lifelong DBZ fan and was somewhat disappointed with the first Legacy of Goku game. (Incredibly short with a lot of mechanical short-comings) LG2 is FAR SUPERIOR to is predecessor. The combat mechanics are vastly improved. Enemies are now sent staggering by attacks, as are you if you aren't careful. There are a few points in the game where some side quests seem to drag on and seem a little to outside the boundaries of the story line. But moments like that are few and far between. This game offers up at least 10 hours of gameplay if you choose to 100% it. It actually feels like an RPG this time around. You gain experience while playing, learn abilities, and can see your progression throughout the game. The pacing is sometimes off when it comes to meeting the level requirements. There are times where I dedicate a few hours to training alone. All in all, this game is absolutely incredible. One of the better games I've ever played, across all consoles. (I know, right?) It really is that good. I recommend it, even if you aren't a DBZ fan.
Rated 10 out of 10 by cab15 dragon ball z legacy of goku2 game boy game
I think DragonBallZ Legacy Of Goku2 is one of the best games ever if I still had the game I would beat it and restart it and beat it again. The first time I got the game I was so excited. I beat the game and I was just blown away by the intensity. My favorite part was using super saiyan2 gohan, and beating cooler on planet namek. I think the game should be the most popular dragon ballz game boy game for 2006, 2007, and 2008. That's how amazing I think the game is. And I prefer it to every dragon ball z fan who hasn't played it. I also think [if it isn't already] it should be known around the world. About super saiyan my dream is that dbz was real, and that everything in dbz really happened, and that I could some how shapeshift into any dbz character of dbz.
Rated 10 out of 10 by #1 ironman fan Dragon Ball Z Legacy of Goku II Is Awesome
Dragon Ball Z Legacy of Goku II is Awesome. The Graphics are Awesome considering it's a Gameboy Advance game. This game has the trunks saga, Androids saga and the Cell saga. The storyline is long, Challenging, and Fun. You can play as 5 characters and a bonus character. There is also an Alternate Ending after you get all your characters to Level 50. This game is the sequel game to Dragon ball Z legacy of Goku I. This game is also way longer than the first one. They made a big improvement in this game. The first game was terrible. But this one is very good. It is just like the episodes shown on television. It has the same music that was used in the television episodes. If you are a Dragon Ball Z fan than you should get this if you don't have it yet.

After playing Legacy of Goku I didn't think I wanted to play the rest of The Legacy of Goku trilogy.Bu then my freind said how amazing it was and how it was better than the original. So I started playing Legacy of Goku 2. After playing the game I'm going to say THIS GAME RULES. It's better than the first! This game has EFFORT and DIFFICULTY which the first one had none. You don't just get to play as Goku but you get to play as Piccolo (<------- my favorite), Vegeta, Gohan, and others! This takes place in the Cell Saga (my favorite saga). I don't have much else to say other than this is a treasure not worth missing. Wow. We only have 3 more to go.
Rated 10 out of 10 by MonsterOck One of the best DBZ games EVAR!
This is defiantly one of Atari's best DBZ works. It's not a dumb console to gba adaption this is a GBA EXCLUSIVE!!! Music is the perfect adaption of Bruce Falconer's hits from the Toonami opening theme to Imperfect Cell's parasite like horror score. Game play follows the story AMAZINGLY, but there is great irony about how the game revolves around Son Goku but you unlock him last and he "dies" (more like a sacrifice transportation but still) shortly after you fight the final battle like two levels after. The adorable chibi characters follow their much more serious counterparts with perfect details as well.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Tonkatank Best DBZ Game Ever
The DBZ action rpg. That's what this is. Great game series (minus #1) that was unfortunately forgotten and wasn't rehashed in any form on any other console. After the main story, there was a huge grind to see if you could level all the characters to max level to unlock a secret character. THEN you could level that character to max level and get another collectable. The music was good, the graphics were good, the gameplay was great, and there was always 1 more thing to unlock. A forgotten gem.

The game is cool. they say u can play as goku, vegeta, trunks, gohan, and piccolo BUT u can play as HERCULE ONLY IF u get everyone 2 the max level. the game is like a rpg or like phantsy star that old game for genisis. its good but not what u think a dragon ball z game would be like. its pretty hard 2 fight bosses beccause it takes u 4 EVER 2 level-up honestly if u like genisis games u will will like it but if u hate genisis games dont bother.
