Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wario is a Loveable Jerk Loveable jerk, Wario's cat escapes and jumps down a pipe, because cat's are also lovable jerks. Wario sets out to rescue his cat and follows down pipe (not so much of a jerk, I guess...) Begin the adventure! Controls you'd expect from a Mario game with some nice additions. Mario does a sweet shoulder-block attack and can pick up rocks etc to throw. Cut scenes are strange, a little weak graphically, but the gameplay is smooth and the soundtrack is great! This is a cheap title, highly recommended. A definite solid add to your GBA collection. So go buy the game, dummies.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent concept with gameplay I bought this game when I was about seven years old, not knowing what to expect. Turns out it was a pretty cool game with an interesting twist of a story line and nice game controls. The graphics are regular retro and pixelated which in my opinion are cool. The controls are easily mastered to the point where you can play the game with ease. The storyline is basically Wario trying to get rich by entering a pyramid that houses gold and other treasures. The game is interesting in the fact that you must go to the end of the level collecting four pieces of a "puzzle" to activate the boss door, while also collecting a floating ghost-bird key like thing to open the boss door. The trippy part happens when you reach the end of the level where you must jump on a mechanical frog that opens a portal at the start of the level! Then you must race all the way back while the world around you starts melting. Anyways in a nutshell this game is fun, challenging, and filled with four worlds each with original levels, funky music, and intense bosses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wario Wario Land 4 is an interesting game. It was one of the first games that I have owned, and yet I still own it today. It is a little difficult for my tastes, but I still find myself trying to beat it, even though I know I never will. I probably wouldn't recommend this game to most, but I like to play it just the same. With all of the new systems coming out, I use it less and less, but will probably never get rid of it. The game is seemingly impossible to beat, so it doesn't seem to ever end, even with such a simple plot. Even though the music is a little silly, once you get used to it, it becomes familiar and possibly enjoyable. The game can become a bit repetitive, especially once the owner becomes stuck and cannot unlock a new level, but even with all of these facts said and done, I probably will still find myself enjoying this game for years to come.
