Product Details:

When an evil shadow stretches from the heart of Hyrule to its peaceful borderlands, a young farm boy named Link must awaken the hero ... and the animal ... within. Link, a young man raised as a wrangler in a rural village, is ordered by the mayor to attend the Hyrule Summit. He sets off, oblivious to the dark fate that has descended upon the kingdom. When he enters the Twilight Realm that has covered Hyrule, he transforms into a wolf and is captured. A mysterious figure named Midna helps him break free, and with the aid of her magic, they set off to free the land from the shadows. Link must explore the vast land of Hyrule and uncover the mystery behind its plunge into darkness. As he does, he'll have to enlist the aid of friendly folk, solve puzzles and battle his way through dangerous dungeons. In the Twilight Realm, he'll have to use his wolf abilities and Midna's magic to bring light to the land. Besides his trusty sword and shield, Link will use his bow and arrows, fight while on horseback and use a wealth of other items, both new and old.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An underrated treasure! Here is a chapter in the Zelda series that doesn't seem to get the love it deserves. On the Nintendo Game Cube, Twilight princess plays like a dream! The controls are fantastic, so throw away that Wiimote and play this game the way it was intended...you know, with a left-handed Link. The graphics and backdrops are beautiful and even minor side characters are given a chance to develop and show personality. Controlling and being forced to use the Wolf Link can be annoying, but once you get the hang of it, it is rather fun. My biggest criticisms of this game would be that it is too dark (as in, you can't see anything, not the tome of the story...the story is an acceptable amount of dark) and the fact that, even though many of the minor, insignificant characters are given a great personality, Princess Zelda is just...meh. Overall a great game that stands the test of time well. Can't wait for the HD remake!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Zelda Ever! (In my opinon) Personally, this game will always sink all other Zelda games in my mind (even Ocarina of Time) because I absolutely ADORED it in 2006 and I still do to this day! Thankfully, it'll be receiving a high definition reboot in 2016 (for it's 10th anniversary). Quick summary: This game is NOT for people who like quick runs through a game in less than 24 hours! Besides traditional Zelda dungeons, there is a LOT of side quests. My personal favorite is the Poe souls side quest; this one will claim 48 hours of your life on the first play positively; BUT you'll be proud of yourself once you find 'em all! I know I was. The graphics have aged well; and personally, this version is smoother than the Wii version (because motion controls ruin Zelda for me). Drawbacks: Until someone pointed this out I did not care about it, but ladder/vine climbing in this game is super slow. No matter which version you buy (GameCube or Wii), the sound is sometimes harsh on high notes of music (like the intro audio) and 5.1 surround sound is useless because it's all 2-channel audio. This game is NOT in high definition. Why is this game better than Ocarina of Time? 1. Because it combines all those dark stories and tones of Majora's Mask into the slightly lighter form of Ocarina of Time and do a fantastic job; 2. It's freaking beautiful, and Hyrule is HUGE!; and 3. Because it's a SEQUEL to Ocarina of Time in general! So hurry up and check out this classic! Or wait for the high definition reboot! It's your choice, really! ;D

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My most favorite game ever! I started playing the Zelda games when I was 6 and grew up to be one of the biggest fans! Up to this day I've beat this game 4 times and plan on completing it more. The graphics, characters, music, storyline, and setting is all perfect. If you consider playing this game, don't second thought and leave it. Best game in the world!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A solid game with rewarding side quests. In my opinion the best legend of Zelda game circa 2014 the greatest graphics over haul I have personally seen in a series leaving far behind the whimsy of Toon Link. While the greatest aspects of the plot are predictable as always, the details of the twilight realm were clearly there to please fans. For me the best part of legend of Zelda games have been the side quests and not the dungeons and the Barrel carrying and flight Minigames were fun. The overall structure will disapoint Halo-heads who love to throw themselves in a fight with no or little stategy. But zelda fans will enjoy another game that is good to overlook the phillips CD-I games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly amazing game! Twilight Princess became my all time favorite Zelda game when I first played it. It really captured a great mix of previous games such as the epic story of ocarina of time and the dark emotional side of Majora's Mask. The look and feel to the game really takes you away and you'll never want to put the controller down. If I know someone who is possibly interested in the Zelda series, this is the or one of the first games I suggest to play. All in all, if you're wanting a game with a great story with a dark side and an epic adventure, this is the game for you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wow. Though this particular game isn't a classic like Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask, it's definitely something else. It's very long and very challenging, with an interesting twist to the classic Zelda series. It allows you to explore a world through different perspectives and with different techniques, and I was even suprized when i first played the game. This game is also very creepy at times, but still in a different way compared to Majora's Mask. It's taken me a long time to finally beat it, so if you like tougher games, this is the game for you!
