Rated 5 out of 5 by from Metroid Done Properly. What's to say about this game that hasn't already been said? The controls are tight and maneuverable, the musical score is astounding for a GBA title, and the graphics still hold up relatively well even today. It did a masterful job of retelling the story of the original game, while still adding enough new content to make it it's own unique story. The replayability factor is through off the charts, since there are so many different endings to get, or so many different ways to complete the game. I would recommend this to any and all metroid fans, new or old.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A perfect portable Metroid! Better than Fusion. You may or may not agree but this game simply rocks. Part original, part remake this game reminds me more of Super Metroid. This game handles great. Must have!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game This is a must for anyone metroid fan as well as anyone who's played metroid fusion or super metroid. Trust me when i say that although at first glance it make appear "kiddy-ish" its actually pretty good and i find it alot faster paced and more enjoyable than metroid fusion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fantastic remake!!!!!! As many of you guys know, Metroid Zero Mission is a remake of the original Metroid game. And I think it's a lot better and easier than the original. The reason I say that is that one, there is a very easy to read map that will help you a lot. Two, there are save stations, and three, if you die you don't start at the very beginning of the area with 30 energy like in the original. Nintendo added something that I really like to this game. Despite all the downsides of the original Metroid that I said, once you beat Zero Mission you can play that game as well on the same cartridge. And also, once you beat Mother Brain, the game continues on. Samus gets attacked by space pirates and they steal her power suit. So you have to travel around all the space pirates and get your suit back. If a space pirate sees you, find a place to hide otherwise, you'll get hit and take a whole energy tank damage. Great remake and a great game!! Also, if you link Metroid Fusion to it, you'll get a surprise on the Zero Mission cartridge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very complex while this is not as good as fusion, this is a really hard remake of the original metroid, and it's a blast to play. the maps are complex but you'll find a way to navigate. but there are times where you'll get stuck, but you'll work around it. not to mention that the music is epic. this is one of the best gba games

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its my favorite! I'm 13 and have an Xbox 360 which i play Halo on and know matter what this still is the most fun game I have ever played. Every other Metroid game has been awlful except for the NES, Fusion, and this game. I recommend playing this game because I have played it eight times and still am finding new places and still having a great time. Sure its from 2004, but hey, you were most likely born before than anyway! BTW i'm currently looking for a GBA just so I can play this game!
