Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best rpg Ever Ever since I played this game Ive been searching for a game as good as this one. The only games that come close are Golden Sun 1 &2 and Oblivion Elder Scrolls. Ive tried MANY other rpgs but they're usually just corny, unimaginative or too futuristic sci-fiy. (final fantasy, legend of dragoon, valkyrie profile). Great music, good puzzles, many unique characters. They each have special abilities outside of battling too which makes the puzzles much more fun and interesting. Id say this game has every classic monster you can think of plus the same amount of new ones. The monsters evolve and can be captured and trained like in Pokemon which adds an awesome twist to combat. Great customization with the monsters leveling up just like a real character and they learn new attacks etc. All the locations you can think of: Ice mountains, deserts, oceans, ruins, grasslands outer space, inside an ancient beast. The armor, weapons and items are all great too very magical and powerful. Quality artwork. The story is also good: stop a relentless army from obtaining the most powerful monster of all time. This is the most classic, imaginative game I've ever played. 10 of 10. I would love if a new game would be made with these amazing ideas.
