Rated 4 out of 5 by from One Of The Better Licensed Games Wow... this game is REALLY HARD to get a hold of, but I lucked out and finally managed to find and purchase it. It was well worth the search though because as a HUGE fan of the show, Futurama the game, is very well done and turned out as good as I could have hoped. It's not a phenomenal game by any stretch, but it is a solid platformer with incredible production value and has the entire cast of the show reprising their respective roles. Without a doubt this is a licensed game that, I think, was done justice (which of course is insanely rare). Story - 10. In a word... FANTASTIC. Fans of the show will most definitely want to check this story out as its LITERALLY a new episode, only in game form. It starts with Professor Farnsworth walking in on the Planet Express crew and telling them that he sold the business to entrepreneur (and not to mention his ex-lover) MOM. With Planet Express now owned by MOM she now has control of 51% of the planet and decides that since she controls the majority of the world she may as well take over everything. She goes on TV, list's her demands, and sends out her death bots on anyone who disobeys her. From here on out Fry, Leila, and Bender do everything they can to stop MOM, save the world, and get Planet Express back. Again, the story is incredibly well done, very funny, and one of the strongest aspects of the game. Graphics - 7. Futurama has cel-shaded graphics and it works well. Though I have to admit that it may take a little time to get use to seeing all the characters and places in 3-D. Everything here looks good, though there's nothing thats really pushing the Xbox in the slightest. The cutscenes do an absolutely wonderful job showing the story. The levels and characters all have very good detail and you'll be very happy to notice all the little "easter eggs" and "fan service" that UDS has put into the game when you're playing it. There's really nothing here graphics wise to complain about. Sound - 10. You've got Billy West, Katie Sagal, John Dimaggio, and the rest of the cast reprising their roles and doing just as a good a job here saying and delivering their lines. The voice work is 110% fantastic. You'll also here MANY familiar theme songs, remixed tracks of familiar theme songs that sound great sound effects/bells and whistles from the show that fit perfectly. There is NOTHING here that seems or sounds out of place and all the voice work is fantastic. Incredibly well done. Control - 8. Easy to pick up and learn. There's really nothing to it. You'll be platforming and shooting in little to no time. My only problem would be the collision detection. Some of the platforming bits are made kind of frustrating because you need to jump on REALLY specific spots on platforms or you'll have a tendency to "slide" off and fall to your death. Other than that, there well done. Fun factor - 7. You'll have a sweet time watching the story unfold. The platforming bits are kind of hit and miss, again due to the collision detection, but you'll eventually get use to it. The shooting is very simple with barely any learning curve to it. Replay ability - 5. Not much. It'll probably take you 5-6 hours tops. Once you've beaten it there really is no reason to go back unless you missed out on collecting the Nibblers though out all the levels to unlock the cinematics and "Futurama-ish" advertisements. I had fun with Futurama the Game. It was a great new/lost "episode", production was fantastic all around, voice work was spot on, and the controls worked well. If you're a fan of the show you should seriously play this game. Its VERY hard to find but the story itself is worth the trouble of trying to find it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT GAME I have bought this game when it first came out and it was perfect. If you like Futurama you would definiltly like this video game. You play as Fry, Leela, and Bender and have to defeat MOMS evil plan to take over the universe. You go through about 10 missions and every mission gets better and better. Buy this game if you like fun games. Evan if you dont like fun action games their is something bound to cetch your eye in this game. There werent alot of these games made so when you see it buy because right now for PS2 this game trade in is worth about 18 dollars. So this game in the future is gonna be big money. The mission are very fun and I have beat the game about 5 times and each time it still amazes me about how much it is related to the show.
