Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fire Emblem is doing Strategy-based RPGs right. It finally made it to North America!!! Japan has been lucky for so many years to have the Fire Emblem series going since the Nintendo SNES days. Graphics did its best on the 32bit system but looks awful to todays standards. The soundtrack fit in quite well and still have some songs stuck in my head to this day. Storyline is one of my favorites in the series along with the great strategy based gameplay. Fire Emblem on the Nintendo Gameboy Advance, A must buy if you have a GBA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Let me get your attention...BACON!!!! Okay good. I can't decide which of the gba Fire Emblem games I like best. Sword of Seals the 6th one is the first of these and brings the charismatic and nostalgic graphics that each of these three games share. Fire Emblem, this one and the 7th, builds upon the last with more class promotions, items, and longer and more stories. Sacred Stones, the 8th, adds even more to this one with whole new enemy types, a few more classes, etc. If you are a living person, who likes games, stop reading this review right now and go play these three games. Are you gone yet? Shame on you. Anyway leave after this review I guess...seriously thought any one of these games is a classic and deserves your time and passion. You will get into these games and the find yourself trying to maximize characters you connect to, develop strategy, and use the battle preparation screen with vigor and intelligence. These games rock and made my childhood that much better. Go be off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This game is a great fit for SRPG fans. This game will attract people who like story and character development. The gameplay is fairly simple, but enjoyable. There are many characters so one is almost always going to find a favorite. The game also has decent graphics for the GBA. The standouts are the character portraits, which are good quality overall. The battle animations are nice to watch, but are very tedious to watch after you get used to them. You'll probably end up turning them off, as the game feels extremely slow if you have seen them already. One issue some players may have is the Permanent Death system, which means that once a character is defeated, they generally can't be used again. Characters who die during the first ten chapters do come back, however. Some people see this mechanic as very intimidating. The game does have a large selection of difficulties, so most players should be able to avoid issues with the death of characters. The game also gained replay value by having the option to make story take the point of view from another character on the second play and onward. The game also has multiplayer, but is very lackluster. It's not worth touching, but it is fun to assemble your most powerful units and make them fight each other. The game has almost 100 tracks of music, and all of them are good. Some of them are even great. With a variety of character and event themes, the game will keep your interest.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun but too short and has flaws The fire emblem series is one of my favorite series. To me this game is kinda short and has flaws. I hate how the shop is in the middle of the battle. I like the convoy following you and you can acess it before battles. I also don't think there is much of a big cast of characters. I beat one part of the game in about 5 hours. The storyline in the lyn section of the game really isnt good and doesnt really make sense.
