The follow-up to the #1 next-generation game, Call of Duty 3 delivers the intensity of being closer than ever to the fury of combat during the Normandy Breakout, the historic campaign that made the liberation of Paris possible and brought the Allies a step closer to Berlin. Through a seamless narrative that delivers the rush of unrelenting battle and breathtaking action, players assume the roles of four ordinary Allied soldiers - American, British, Canadian and Polish - and are thrust onto an authentic, living battlefield for an unprecedented variety of combat, with advanced high-definition graphics, detailed character animations and explosive on-screen action, delivering the most immersive and cinematically intense war experience ever.

The Power of Next-Gen - Built from the ground-up for next-gen consoles, Call of Duty 3 brings the battle to life with advanced graphics, a new physics engine, a procedural environment and detailed ensemble animations that deliver the most cinematic war experience ever.

Team-based Multiplayer with Vehicles - Combined arms and team-based combat provides unprecedented depth and variety by allowing up to 24-players to battle it out online with the option of single or split-screen Internet play. Rated 5 out of 5 by from After all this time, this game is still awesome Much like 'Burnout: Revenge', Call of Duty 3 holds a nostalgic value and I would spend hours on this game and as soon as I came home from middle school, I would be in my room and almost never came out. I was new to the Call of Duty franchise, WAAAAYYY before it got ridicules today but when I've first played Call of Duty 3 on the Classic Xbox, this game was a delight and now that I have it on my 360, as mention, pure nostalgia. I loved the idea that it was all set in World War II (WWII) and I felt like that I was actually there and I was playing as a soldier who might've existed and you would experience what that soldier experience and it felt very authentic to me and I loved it. This game is still really awesome, even to this very day and I love it a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Insane I am very satisfied with this game. I've had it for a few years and it's still really entertaining. I don't mean to spoil anything, but after you do the basic tutorial, you get thrown in a massive, and I mean, MASSIVE battle. Buildings are blown up, all you hear is gunfire and explosions, and my reaction to this the first time I played was "woah". The campaign is very fun since the levels take a good length of time to complete and show a good difficulty. The multiplayer doesn't disappoint, but I recommend playing online in comparison to split-screen since most of the maps are really big. Overall, I would say that this game is for any Call of Duty fan, and it shows how intense warfare was 70 years ago.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Call of Duty game. In my opinion this is the BEST, CoD game. It actually has a great story line unlike the other CoD's.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OKAY this game is okay i beat the campaign in about 4 hours and then the only other thing to do is is to do the quick match. you have to face against real people witch can be good or bad so there in no computer people.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plot is repeated, multiplayer at a great point. This is a great game, and my only complaint is the story, which feels like a repeated COD 2. But multiplayer was justified, making vehicles and maps very fun. I felt that it was a good COD game, but not the best of the series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best Call of Duty's This is one of the best Call of Duty's ever made. Treyarch did not go wrong with this one at all. They only slight improvement I would make is create a class but it's just fine without in my opinion. Treyarch should really do something like this again bring back the World War 2! Bring back the jeeps, tanks, and motorcycles! Just bring back the old Call of Duty. This is a must buy for all call of duty fans out there!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Alright WWII Shooter I liked playing this game when I bought it a few months ago. I liked the story line, but there were some things I didn't really care for, like the melee fighting and what I hated so much: driving. It was interesting when I did it for the first few times, but I started hating it when I started getting lost on some of the maps where you drive. But, if you like WWII, melee battles, and driving, this is the game for you.
