Product Details:

North America, 18th century. Amid the chaos and violence of the French and Indian War, Shay Patrick Cormac, a fearless young member of the Assassin Brotherhood, undergoes a dark transformation that will forever shape the future of the colonies. After a dangerous mission goes tragically wrong, Shay turns his back on the Assassins who, in response, attempt to end his life. Cast aside by those he once called brothers, Shay sets out on a mission to wipe out all who turned against him and to ultimately become the most feared Assassin hunter in history.

Introducing Assassin's Creed® Rogue, the darkest chapter in the Assassin's Creed® franchise yet. As Shay, you will experience the slow transformation from Assassin to Assassin hunter. Follow your own creed and set off on an extraordinary journey through New York City, the wild river valley, and far away to the icy cold waters of the North Atlantic in pursuit of your ultimate goal, to bring down the Assassins.

  • Become the Ultimate Assassin Hunter. Experience the Assassin's Creed universe from the perspective of a Templar. Play as Shay, who, in addition to the skills of a Master Assassin, also possesses new abilities, like enhanced eagle vision, and weapons, such as the deadly air rifle and grenade launcher.
  • Slowly Descend Into Darkness. Witness Shay's transformation from an adventurous Assassin to a grim and committed Templar willing to hunt down his former brothers. Experience firsthand the events that will lead Shay down a dark path and set him on a course that will forever change the fate of the Assassin Brotherhood.
  • New and Improved Naval Gameplay. Cast off in your ship, the Morrigan, and fight your way through the icy seas of the North Atlantic and the narrow waters of America's river valleys. Assassin's Creed Rogue builds on the award-winning naval experience from Assassin's Creed® IV Black Flag with all-new gameplay, including new weapons and enemy tactics
  • Vast and Diverse Open World to Explore. Shay's story will allow you to explore three unique environments: the artic North Atlantic, American River Valley, and New York City

Rated 4 out of 5 by from AC: Rogue is worth playing; don't miss out. I was skeptical of this game at first because it was presented as a quick and sloppy mod of AC IV: Black Flag made only to make a few extra bucks from those who have yet to upgrade to next-gen consoles. Thankfully I was wrong. Assassin's Creed: Rogue is a full game experience that while borrowing much of it's content from Black Flag manages to present a compelling story and improve upon the previous gameplay mechanics. The only negative is the graphical errors, but they are few and far between. It's definitely worth picking up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way more than another AC 4 I've read some of the stupid bad reviews and the meh-good reviews. Although the gameplay is almost identical to Black Flag, it adds some new stuff. Big, beautiful open world set in an awesome location. It's great to get to go back to New York from AC3, and all the new locations are pretty cool too. But some of the locations are kinda bland, like when you're sailing around on the Morigan and you see all these beautiful forests that you cant go to. But what's really awesome is going to the North Atlantic and finding shipwrecked ships on an icy glacier..... The gameplay is almost the same as Black Flag but add new things such as new ship weapons, the grenade gun, having to use gas masks when fighting assassins, and some more things. You can kill civilians again, but really hard bounty hunters come after you. As I've already said you can fight assassins, which is a really cool new addition. When an assassin tries to air assassinate you, you have one chance to counter the attack but if you fail it's a one hit kill on you......very awesome. Sometimes the assassins will use a smoke bomb on you, causing you to need to use your gas mask (perfect grammar right there). And finally the story. I really really liked the story of seeing how and why an assassin would leave the Brotherhood for something......I won't spoil it :) Getting to see characters from AC3 and Black flag is very cool. I definitely recommend this game if you liked Black Flag

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun Gameplay, Decent Story Like most people say, this game is essentially black flag 2. Their are two ocean maps instead of one huge one like black flag had, but the two together are close to the size of the Caribbean sea from black flag. The gameplay is almost identical but I had more difficulty with the navigation glitching, mainly when climbing in trees, than I did in black flag. Shay is an awesome character, one of the best AC has ever created. Haytham Kenway from AC3 also returns. The game is worth playing just for these two characters, but the story really doesn't make sense with the rest of the AC universe. I like how it ties AC3 and AC4 together, but all it does is basically swap the assassin and templar roles from previous games. Assassin's act like thugs like the majority of the templars from other games did, robbing innocent people and commiting crimes, something they've never done, and the templars are there to stop them. In every other AC game templars are terrorizing innocent people and the assassin's stop it. Overall, the game is good, and if you enjoyed black flag, you'll enjoy this. I just have issues with some minor holes that the story presents.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Impressive I must say they announced the game 3 months before it was released and the story was really good. the gameplay is the same but its the last time we'll see it. A huge new open world to explore. Overall really good game if you like this series or want to get into it I highly recommend this game

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Same as ac4 The game was cool for as long as the story is going but after that it becomes really boring. It wasnt worth $60 it was just like ac4 where you finish the story then all you have left to do is upgrade the characters. the kill animations are the same as ac4 so it was really disappointing. So if you guys want to get i say either rent it or buy it when the prices go down. The story mode was pretty cool though, it connected to ac3, ac4 and even ac unity.
