Universal iPad/iPhone HiFi speaker
Horrible for iPads
I got this a few months ago and it was good the first few but then the plug became loose and did not hold my iPad straight and broke out the music and I have to spend 5 minutes trying to get it so it plays out of both speakers. Horrible quality since I bought it at $50 and the plug can't hold an iPad and you can't lean it against a wall because the auxiliary plug to power it is an inch and a half wide. iPhone users may not have this problem but for those of you who have iPads, choose IHome or something besides this because it will break the charger dock making the radio completely useless except the clock but you have one already on your device if you buy this. So it's useless after a month.
Good but no Manual
As the other review say, the product does not come with a manual or a guide. Through trial and error I discovered that pressing MODE once goes to the alarm menu, holding the MODE down turns off/on alarm. pressing MODE takes you through the time setting and alarm setting.
I took the dock out of the box and immediately noticed the absence of a manual or at least a setup guide. My son found the " user guide"(I use this term only because that is how it is labeled on the box)on the back of the box. This "guide" is no help at all. I looked online and found nothing. I had to figure out the simple basic clock setup by trial and error. The dock works as advertised, but a little extra effort to put out a worthwhile user guide would be greatly appreciated.
It needs better directions for the clock I don't know how to use the clock. But it charges up your ipod/ iPhones/ ipads fast.
