Good game but missing something
I like the game and the song choices, but the only problem that I have with this game is that it doesn't have the choice to do profiles, so only one person can play the game, not like Guitar rock tour that has this choice and for less money. And if you want to play with another person or family you have to buy another game. I don't know if this music games are like this but I don't like it because even one person sometimes like to create more than one profile. Also I will like to create the band member, like an avatar to choose clothes, hair, accessories and more. And to actually see this avatar you create when you play the game, but it is not possible in this game. So I would recommend only if you want to play it alone and one time until you finish the game then delete this game and do it all over again.

Ultimate Band DS has it's unique appeal
I do not have this game yet, but have done extensive research on it, and am waiting to get it. Here is what I know so far. In the DS version of Ultimate Band, you can play lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass and drums. There is no singing in this game. You can connect with friends who have the game and Jam out, create and share your own music with other DS players, I think this is limited to local wireless only not Wi-Fi, but not confirmed. The DS version will have the Disney D-Gamer Wi-Fi interactive online community connectivity. I do not believe the Wii version has those functions. Plus it is portable and touch based. The DS version can also connect to the Wii version to act as a stage show light simulator complete with fireworks. There are also exclusive tracks found on the DS version that are not on the Wii version, "All Star", "Call Me", "Jenny was a Friend of Mine", and "9 in the Afternoon" There are I believe 15 tracks on the DS version, but as I read in an interview they are abbreviated cover versions. I also believe the song vocals as in the Wii version change depending on if your player is male or female. The Wii version offers created player customization. The DS version allows only already created players with ability to change outfits. While the DS will not have the visual appeal of the Wii game counterpart, it has it's own unique take on the game. I hope this gives you a better understanding of the DS version of the game and more info to decide if it is a game for you. As I said I do not have the game yet and what I have written is what I have interpreted to be the functions in this game. Thank you.
