Cowabunga Dudes! Celebrate the 25th anniversary of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in this classic arcade-style game for the Nintendo DS system. This side-scrolling beat-em-up game is a tribute to the coin-op classics that made the Turtles video game legends. The Turtles make their return to Nintendo DS to clean up the crime-riddled streets of NYC. Shredder stands poised to take over the city - and only you can rally the might of the ninja brothers to put a stop to the threat in the present and the future...

  • BEAT-EM-UP, NINJA STYLE Relive classic Turtles fights in the streets, sewers and rooftops of New York City. Take on everyone from petty thugs to great masterminds like Dr. Baxter Stockman. The enemies and their weapons are fierce but the Turtle brothers have Master Splinter's ninja training to survive the latest onslaught. Stop the enemy with your ninja weapons, kicks and throws. Evil never tires but neither do the Turtles!
  • COOPERATIVE ACTION Never be alone, you will always have a Turtle brother fighting alongside. Each Turtle brother has different strengths and weaknesses, so choose your tag team wisely. Play with a friend via Wi-Fi or play solo with a computer-powered Turtle brother. Strategically combine your ninja moves for special attacks to inflict serious damage.
  • ORIGINAL STORY Prepare to journey into an all-new original story of the Turtles told through amazing animated comic book art and epic battles. Chase the Turtle nemesis, Shredder, beyond New York City through cyberspace and time to uncover evil plots with villains old and new.
  • ALL-NEW BATTLE MODES The battle never stops with the new variety of Battle Modes. Explore Story Mode, mastering attacks and hit combos to gain Bonus Coins that will unlock new game modes. Take on Boss Mode and relive all your favorite boss fights or try fighting against endless waves of Foot ninjas in survival mode. Test your skills in Stage Mode and race against the clock to clear levels as fast as you can.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good but repetitive The gameplay is very repetitive so it can get a bit boring but the plot is pretty well written. It basically combines classic turtles with the recent 2003 turtles. The graphics are really good for a DS game but the sound isn't very intresting. All you basically do is run around and kill everyone until the end of the level and then fight your way up to the bosses. The game itself is very short and I finished it in a couple hours. The game was meant to celebrate the 25th anniversary of TMNT and it does the job. I recommend you to get this along with TMNT Smash Up, the other game celebrating the anniversary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ubisoft finally made a TMNT game close to konami's Ok I ordered this a couple days ago. but on a weekend. So to save time and stop the excitement from killing i ordered 1 day rush. It was worth the 30 dollar total. Story:7/10 The games core feature is its story. 8 levels with 5 bosses. This may be a turn-off of the game to most TMNT fans but its Back to the sewer themed. The short lived season 7. I know it was cancelled and it wasnt very popular. But this game was released during 2009 which just happened to be back to the sewer season.Unlike the console bro smash up, This isnt clunky and actually celebrates the TMNT 25th anniversary. Using the beat em up arcade style and not some brawl engine clone rip off the game is by far the best ubisoft game, but you cant forget the tmnt 2007 gba beat em up. The game has 3D graphics, i think the reason is for it to look like its current. The story is kinda back to sewer/fast foward. This game is almost has good as turtles in time arcade and thats saying something. lets hope the TMNT 2012 movie/Tv series game isnt some Money scam garbage like TMNT 2007 console and smash up was.
