TMNT: Arcade Attack
Pretty good but repetitive
The gameplay is very repetitive so it can get a bit boring but the plot is pretty well written. It basically combines classic turtles with the recent 2003 turtles. The graphics are really good for a DS game but the sound isn't very intresting. All you basically do is run around and kill everyone until the end of the level and then fight your way up to the bosses. The game itself is very short and I finished it in a couple hours. The game was meant to celebrate the 25th anniversary of TMNT and it does the job. I recommend you to get this along with TMNT Smash Up, the other game celebrating the anniversary.
Ubisoft finally made a TMNT game close to konami's
Ok I ordered this a couple days ago. but on a weekend. So to save time and stop the excitement from killing i ordered 1 day rush. It was worth the 30 dollar total.
Story:7/10 The games core feature is its story. 8 levels with 5 bosses.
This may be a turn-off of the game to most TMNT fans but its Back to the sewer themed. The short lived season 7. I know it was cancelled and it wasnt very popular. But this game was released during 2009 which just happened to be back to the sewer season.Unlike the console bro smash up, This isnt clunky and actually celebrates the TMNT 25th anniversary. Using the beat em up arcade style and not some brawl engine clone rip off the game is by far the best ubisoft game, but you cant forget the tmnt 2007 gba beat em up. The game has 3D graphics, i think the reason is for it to look like its current. The story is kinda back to sewer/fast foward.
This game is almost has good as turtles in time arcade and thats saying something. lets hope the TMNT 2012 movie/Tv series game isnt some Money scam garbage like TMNT 2007 console and smash up was.
maybe easy but its a smash up
Great game its one of the best ds games so if you like smash up but this time you can play it every where you go eqaul better than ever.
The good The bad The terrible.
This is a very good game for the DS but it is not very hard but kids who love fighting games this is a good match.
The Random Gamer Re-Shelled was also for ps3.....and this game isnt nothing compared to the originals
Classic Beat Em' Up
When I first saw this game was on the fall release list for DS I wasn't all that excited. I just assumed it was going to be another turtles licensed game that would never live up to what turtles games had once been. That is, until I started to do a little research about this game. The developers for the TMNT 25th Anniversary are heading back to their NES, SNES, and Arcade roots with a fully realized unique beat em' up for the DS. Their plan was to capture the feel of classic nostalgia while updating to 3D visuals to make the genre modernized and fresh (In a very similar way to Turtles in Time Re-shelled for 360 owners). The game will have plenty of classic arcade action, and pretty visuals to make a welcome presentation that I have personally been craving another dose of ever since Re-shelled launched for Xbox Arcade. So anyone who is a fan of classic beat em' up games, clasic Turtles Beat em' up game, or both, I would definitely recommend you pick this game up.
