Rated 7 out of 10 by samuel reid it was good but.
i would say that this star wars game puts you to your power and test your knowledge, to the star wars trilogy this is nothing like it but no matter it was great the powers were awesome everything about it was good but i think they could have done more with the graphics but they were good. but if your a graphic fan then buy the psp version of the game. but if you like the combo type game get this one ether way you will not be disappointed in the outcome, the DS version was pretty short to me but I'm a hardcore gamer so it might of been longer but it's has game vs to it so that will give you hours of gameplay. when your playing this game you will not want to stop i played 3 hours straight it was really good to me. so what I'm saying is if you like DS games and star wars get this game as soon as possible you will love it. happy gaming.
Rated 9 out of 10 by SickMXC Great game for Star Wars fans!
I first played this game on the XBox 360, it was REALLY good, but since I didn't have a 360 or a PS3, I decided to get it on the DS. At first, I wasn't so sure it would be all that good. Usually, games like that aren't so good on Hand-held Devices. But this game really delivered! Great game, loads of fun, good storyline, plus the controls work really well. The only problem with this game was that it took me 6-7 hours to beat it, it's REALLY short. But you can play Story Mode over and over again and it doesn't get boring. Multi-player is also really fun. You can play with up to 4 Players and fight each other. Overall it's a great game, if you're a fan of the star wars series I would recommend this game for you, on any console! My friend tried it on the Wii and told me it was also loads of fun. So if you like action games, this is for you!
Rated 10 out of 10 by Bioniclefan!!!!!!!!!!!! This game is so awesome!!!!
This is a great game. It gets hard towards the end, but not too hard. The storyline is very unpredictable, but I won't spoil any of it. The graphics are good for DS, but I'm sure the wii one has much better graphics. The game has many sounds and some music taken directly from the movies. I love that there are two different endings, making players want to play the game twice through. I like that there is multiplayer. I also like that you can be darth vader and there are cool combos (though some take much energy). The emporer is challenging. He kind of sounds strange when he gets attacked, and his spinning attack (I call it "The Emporer Torpedo") is wierd too. I wish there was single card play, though. All in all, it is awesome and I definitely recommend it to any Star Wars fan,
Rated 3 out of 10 by shadowgrd good but not that good
The game Star Wars the force unleashed actually wasn't as good as expected for the DS.I mean dont get me wrong it's a good game but the story was too short the graphics ehhhhhh not as good as expected and the controls/graphics not the best.Basically it looks like they just rushed through it..I mean come on they should have actually made the cutomer happy than just make more money for themselves, because we just wasted our money on this pretty much lame game.I just wouldve hoped it was worth that much money but sadly it wasnt. it's actually a sad,sad truth. So I would advice all of you gamers out there don't buy the game because it's not worth the money instead borrow it from a friend, rent it,wait untill the price go down because in the end you'll actually saved from disappointment.
Rated 10 out of 10 by littlejj360 Best game
One of the best DS games I have ever owned ,but I haven't owned many. Star Wars is classic, any game that is based on Star Wars is good. This game is based before the Rebel Alliance was formed. You are Sith Lord Darth Vader in the first mission. But after that mission you are Lord Vader's apprentice nicknamed "Starkiller". You are an assassin, you kill Kanto. You also get a choice of fighting Darth Vader and the devious Sith Emperor, Emperor Palpatine, and if you fight the Emperor you die. BUT you die unfairly. He uses the Sith Shock as you walk away but you unlock the Jedi Ultimate Outfit, a white and brown robe. The people die fairly fast. And I have advice when fighting Jedi knights hold your saber in place when it flashes you win faster.

I was very excited to get this game. I have played a lot of the Star Wars Game and this was by far the worst one that I have every played. I do not know if my expectations wer too high. The controls were ok at best. I found the special moves a little to hard to get used too, so I never used the specail moves or what ever they are called . The bosses were very easy to defeat, almost too easy. When I finally got uesed to them the game was over. I completed the game in about 4 hours. I was expecting it to be longer and harder. The graphics were great the DS. I would not recommend this game. Some people will disagree with my review. But over all I was very diappointed. Once I completed it I did not have any desire to play it again.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Brinx102 It's an Impressive Game.
I first saw this game on shelves at a gamestop at my mall. When I got home, I was expecting a crappy side-scrolling Star Wars Game. For a ds game it is very good. The graphics were great, they could of don better though. Every thing else was great, except for one thing, which is the length of the game. The first timed I played it, it took me about 5 hours, the second time, 2 hours. The great thing is that no matter how many times you play it, you'll never get bored. If I rated the ages of the people who played this game, I'd say 7 and up. If you have a kid that is a little jedi, he'she will love the game. The game may be rated "T" but it's not all violent. Bottom live, I highly recommend the game.
Rated 1 out of 10 by AJCk19 Why only touch?
Cons: there are no pros
You have to pay me to play this game
I know most people aren't going to like this review, but I'm trying to understand why would an action game ONLY be touched based and you can't use the abxy buttons to attack or pull off combos? Especially if you feel the touch controls are god awful. If the touch controls were way better (something like ninja gaiden dragon sword) then this game would actually be enjoyable. This just adds to my list of terrible star war games that only kids or fans of the series are going to be able to withstand.
Rated 8 out of 10 by nevermind great
This game is really good, the controls are not that hard and I learned them in about 30 minutes, the gameplay is great with a lot of force combo to do on the touch screen. The ONLY drawback is that once you finish the game you have to start over at the beginning with zero force pionts and zero experience. The story is also short but that does't matter to some people. Overall this game is worth buying but not lasting fun for somone who is really good at video games and I mean really good.

I have looked forward to this for a long time but when i saw the demo version i changed my mind. I know ds can't really produce something with good graphics but come on. From what i've seen its graphics are worthy of that of the gameboy. If you must buy this game at least get it for a console because IT WILL ROCK! Even the psp version is good looking. But this ds version looks like they hurried through it just to get more cash. Get it on a console or psp, the ds version is not worth any serious gamer's time.
