Product Details:

The object is to form at least a single triangle formation by linking viruses together and erasing them from the screen. Victory conditions vary from mission to mission, but erasing all of the viruses will be the fundamental rule of this game. Erase all the viruses and you win, but if the screen gets filled with the emerging viruses you lose. Note: there is a twist to this system that gives depth to the game play. Viruses turn to stone if left alone for a while, which cannot be selected to form a triangle. However, these stones can be erased if they are within a triangle that you create. With a little luck and practice players can rake in massive points by letting the viruses turn to stones and erasing them all at once.

  • During the period between Episodes III and IV, players hunt Jedi in the role of Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice.
  • Unleash and upgrade the Secret Apprentice's four core Force powers - Force push, grip, repulse and lightning - throughout the course of the game, and combine them for ultra-destructive, never-before-seen combos.
  • Examples of unleashing the Force in ways never thought possible:
    - The Secret Apprentice won't just Force push enemies into walls - he'll Force push enemies through walls.
    - The Secret Apprentice won't just Force grip foes to throw them aside - he'll Force grip them in midair, zap them with lightning, then drop them to the ground to explode like a bomb.
  • In addition to new adversaries created just for the game, such as fugitive Jedi and Force-sensitive Felucians, players will also confront and associate with familiar faces from the Star Wars films, including Darth Vader.
  • Visit locations such as Episode III's Wookiee homeworld Kashyyyk and the floral Felucia, the junk planet Raxus Prime, plus an Imperial TIE fighter construction facility.
  • Decisions made by players throughout the game will determine the path of the story, including multiple endings that will rock Star Wars continuity as they know it.
  • LucasArts is preparing an unprecedented promotional effort around the launch of The Force Unleashed, encompassing a full line of toys and game-based action figures from Hasbro, as well as a full publishing program from Dark Horse, Del Rey and Palace Press.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Okay Game This game is great to play. The story is good, the action is intense. However, I believe that it is not meant for the DS. The graphics are bad, and the gameplay just isn't the same compared to home consoles. If you have a kid with a DS get this game for him. It is not terrible. But if you are a hardcore gamer and own a home console like the xbox or ps3, get it for that system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10! Ten! Dies! This game is AWESOME!!!!!!!! It is A LOT better then the sequel! Like the second one is almost like a platform game (the old kind of Mario), bu this game you can go forward, backward, left, or right. I go the second game, had it (and played it, too) for about three days, and returned it to get this one. The only thing I do not like is when you have to run away from this giant slug thing, and you get caught up on stuff real easy. This is a, if not the, game to get!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great ds game Honestly,I dont typically like ds games just because im not to big a fan of portable gaming. Not that there is anything wrong whith it I just like to sit down and play my games on the tv.I have my ds mainly just so im not bored while on vacation or wherever. But I decided to try this out and I was really impressed. The graphics are great for a ds game and the story is good.It really wasnt long before I was choosing to play this game over most of my games for my 360.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why only touch? Cons: there are no pros You have to pay me to play this game I know most people aren't going to like this review, but I'm trying to understand why would an action game ONLY be touched based and you can't use the abxy buttons to attack or pull off combos? Especially if you feel the touch controls are god awful. If the touch controls were way better (something like ninja gaiden dragon sword) then this game would actually be enjoyable. This just adds to my list of terrible star war games that only kids or fans of the series are going to be able to withstand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from ok game pemominal story line this game is pretty good, The gameplay was ingaging because you use the touch screen in very cool ways. The grapichs were pretty ugly but the reason you should buy this game is the storyline!!!!.it is amazing because it's as if they sqweeze a new story in between movie 3 and 4 and it explains how the rebels were created!!!!.And it was so fun.I have beaten the game about 5 or 6 times. It so easy you never die and if you do then....that's plain sad
