I got this game for my DS on the eighteenth of December. I had beaten the game by the twenty-first. It was extremely fun and hard to put down! Before I knew it, I had beaten the game three times by the twenty-second. I'm not saying that it wasn't a hard game, but if you have plenty of time on your hands, it shouldn't take long to complete it. Besides the little time it took to complete it, it's a very fun game! The grafics are great and the sound effects are outstanding! Besides the regular levels, in hero mode on multiplayer you can play with the game itself! For every player out of four that you don't have, the game plays as those characters! The game's characters are easier than actual people to beat. A warning, though. The information about the game online says that you can play as Count Dooku, Ventrace, Kit Fisto, and Ben Kenobi. That is not true on the DS! In conclusion, I would recomend this to anyone who has plenty of time on their hands.

elite squadron is not like the first or second battlefront games, but it is still pretty fun. gameplay is almost the same in each level, finish the remaining troops, free the prisoners, access the computer to blow somthing up, fly a ship, ride a speeder, and so on. It mixes it up enough though to make it seem like your not doing the exact same thing over and over again. instant action is fun, although I have only fought against bots, it is pretty good. there are three types of instant action, team, free for all and hero mode. team and free for all have four maps tatooine, dantooine, hoth and kashyyk. after you choose which location you want to battle at, you choose the order in which you will battle, space, capital ship and planetside. in hero mode you can play at bespin or mustafar. you can choose one of twelve(I think) heros to play as when you start and when you die(some heros have to be unlocked). if you are planning on buying it I will warn you again it is not like the other battlefront games but it is still a really fun game!

I love this game. The campaign is very good, providing you with huge areas to wreak havoc in. Most things on the mission are destructible. Your character is given three weapons to work with. One is a regular weapon that doesn't use any ammo. The other is a heavier gun that uses ammo. Your last one is an explosive that uses ammo. Later in the game you will acquire a lightsaber and the force to use as a weapon. There a re four different classes that all play differently. There is soldier, heavy, engineer, and spy. The basic game can be defeated in four hours, but doesn't end there. You can replay the game with all the classes and the lightsaber, and play instant action or Heroes and Villains. Instant Action is what made Battlefront fun to play. You can play single player or with three other people, capturing bases and flying in ships. Heroes and Villains has two stages, Mustafar and Bespin Carbonation chamber. This mode is the most fun to play allowing you to play as up to 12 characters which are all unlockable as you progress in campaign. Over all this is a great game.

This is a good game but has flaws. First of all it is nothing like normal Battlefront games bot what are you to expect on a DS game? It is very much like a game you will find in a small game store: single player based with AI (computer) helpers or soldiers. Although on normal standards it is a pretty good game because Star Wars based. At the time Star Wars Battlefront Elite Squadron came out I was excited because a Battlefront game came on a system that I had that I didn't need specific requirements for, but I was greatly mistaken because as I mentioned before it is not a normal Battlefront. This is a really fun and addicting game but do to the DS's limitations I just don't like 'normal' typish game-play. I would recommend a better game for a different system because this'll disappoint you, but I am getting a PSP and I will buy Star Wars Battlefront E S for it so I would suggest the same thing.

When I saw this game, I was ecstatic. I told all of my friends that Star Wars Battlefront was finally available for the Nintendo DS. The storyline pieced together perfectly and made sense. The sound quality was great on my Nintendo DSi. The graphics were some of the best graphics that I have seen for the DS, but compared to the the PSP version, they weren't that good. The thing that excited me the most about the game was its Instant Action modes. If you didn't want to start out the game with the Campaign mode you could start with Instant Action mode. As you get further into the Campaign, more characters are available in Hero Mode. Hero Mode is available in Instant Action. The only down side to Instant Action is that you can only play against 4 other CPU's. Overall I loved the game because for the first time I didn't get bored with a game after I beat it.

When I first bought this game, I thought it was gonna suck, how was i supposed to aim right with the d-pad? instead, i got a highly addicting game that preformed beyond my expectations. Hte capmaign is fun and the storyline is believeable. force unleahsed fans will be happy to see one of the charecters return to instruct you. The controls are acurate and responsive and the classes are fun and reqiured throughout the game, but i usually stayed as heavy class because nothing stands in your way as a heavy trooper. the only downside is that you can only drive vheicles twice, but that doesn't matter much. And the in game challenges are good and work well with the game, though the capmaign is a little too easy and you can easlily adapt to it. All in all, game worth money paid.

Debate on the lastest Star Wars: Battlefront game gave us this solid info: DS and PSP versions! Obviously this preview is for the DS only...if it's anything as good as Battlefront II was for the Xbox, you've got an incredible game. Get in an X-wing on the Hoth snow and fly up to engage the Empire's Imperial Star Destroyers in space, or take control of and fire the ion cannon, it's all up to you. The great "Heroes vs. Villians" mode returns on new planets, plus there's online multiplayer for up to 4 so it's gonna own! We all loved the original Battlefronts...now the DS gets one! Still need one on the Wii but this settles for now.

When my little brother got this I knew it would stink and that it would a bad purchase. My brother still wouldn't believe me.......... until he played for five minutes, then he finally turned it off and knew I was right. The reason why this was horrible was because all you do is go kill these robot guys ( I can't even see them because there so blurry that I could only see them unless you put your face on the screen which makes this game even worse) anyway this gets boring and isn't really worth the money. Don't buy it unless you can't buy something good. This was a real big failure for Battlefront games.
Rated 1 out of 10 by JTSHHS Literally THE worst game I have ever played
What can I say? This game was downright disgusting. The graphics seemed to be worse than Playstation 1, the sound sounded like it was fused with failing MIDI files from someones 1980 Macintosh computer, the gameplay was horrible, the plot was unbelievably stupid, the challenge was non existant... The list goes on. Frankly, it was a horrible waste of money, and every time I played the game I had to refrain from vomitting. Seriously, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. I would be willing to bet money that you would regret it. The very worst game I have ever played. Period.

Now, I have played Battlefront a lot on the xbox. And I absolutly loved it! So when this came out for the ds I was like, "Oh my gosh!". But I can't really say it lived up to it's expectations. Because it didn't. I was expecting something like one of the versions I have previously played. But I should have known somthing like this couldn't be possible for the ds. Of course, after I thought about for a while, I realized that the ds does not have the capable controls to support such a game as this. But I went ahead and bought it anyway. In this game, you cannot change the viewpoint or 'look around' as you can in the xbox version. And you can't really aim eiether; there is an automatic aiming thing. The graphics are not great. But I was surprised at the sound. The soundtracks and sound effects are great! And the story play is pretty good 'cept I found the storyline really hard to understand. But that's probably cause' I'm not really a big star wars fan. Anyway, probably the biggest disapointment, (besides the fact that this is a really hard game and I am defiently stuck on a certain level right now) is the 'Instant Action'. On the xbox, this is practically all I played. It was so fun! But on the ds, the instant action is really junky to tell the truth. So I guess if you're a big star wars fan and there's nothing else avaible to buy, then get Star Wars Battlefront for the ds. Cause theres a chance you might like it. But if not, stick to the xbox version.
