Product Details:

Put a puppy inside your Nintendo DS! Described as a "puppy simulator", this innovative new title gives you a small amount of money to purchase your own puppy...and from there, the sky's the limit! Using the Nintendo DS's built-in microphone, you can name your dog, and then teach him tricks! Nintendogs also makes heavy use of the DS Touch Screen. Use the stylus to pet your dog, rub him on the belly, or touch his nose! But be careful: different dog breeds have different personalities, and not all like to be treated the same way.

  • A New Way To Skate - Pick a board and shred by using Stylus based Flickit Nintendo controls.
  • Create The Ultimate Skate Space With My Spot - Gamers can make spots truly their own by moving objects like ramps, rails, and benches to fit their skating style. Unlock new skateable objects by winning challenges and then create a fantasy dream park.
  • Real-World Skate Spots - Conquer the best San Vanelona spots and get sponsored by real skate companies. Then travel the world to skate, own, and customize iconic real-world locales.
  • Live To Skate, Skate To Live - Skate with the world's top pros in your quest to become Thrasher Magazine's Skater of the Year.
  • More Online Skating (NDS only) - Skate against friends, own the leaderboards, and share your created spots and challenges with Spot Share, all through Nintendo Wi-Fi connectivity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good Game! I really don't know what other people are talking about. I have beat this game and really enjoy it. It's really enjoyable once you unlock all the areas and get to freeskate everywhere. But really this game is not bad. I bought it thinking it would be a waste of time and I wouldn't like it but it's very good for its price. I like just freeskating while watching a patriots game so I can play and just watch it. Bottom line is I reccomend it and it's a very good game.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from bipolar game The game itself is fun to play except when it fails it really fails. The music is good. The levels are nicely built and beautiful. Chaining combos is really satisfying. Lots of different unlockables. However it has some SERIOUS problems. First, the controls for the game are poor. The game requires various gestures of the wii-mote to execute tricks, but even with the motion-plus controller the tricks executed are random at best. Usually not a problem except when you need to execute a specific move and it utterly fails if you need to do this move for an objective. Speaking of moves, very few of the moves are listed in the manual or in the game. Rather it's trial and error or randomness. A prime example is "how to perform a one-handed-grab" which is listed as an objective but is not displayed in the game or manual. Also some issues with perspective and camera angles, as it becomes difficult to judge distance/timing or see through your avatar to know where you are going. Often all of these problems come together to create a very frustrating game experience. Final negative comment is that the unlockables are only cosmetic, as they have no bearing on the performance of the avatar. So you're only unlocking clothing and accessories no real upgrades or moves. With all that said, the game definitely has it's moments that it's fun to play but also some VERY frustrating moments.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's good if your into skating The graphics aren't the best, but it still satisfies. I still remember getting the game and playing it everyday and ripping it up. The thing that I like about skate it is that you get sponsored and by really good companies

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its ok ........... Its a good game, overall. The grghics are'nt awsome, but they are good. The major dissapointment is there is no hall of meat, plus most of the time slight bump into something and fall which stinks for races. And The worst part is other skaters, which would be pretty cool accept, they knock you done and you can't knock them over. The songs are'nt all that great, but fit nicely. The control is interesting, even advanced flip tricks are easy after a while but tail, nose, and blunts are very difficult not to mention some grabs have the smae controls like metho and mute. Good skateboarding game for ds, but all in all realism is the reason to buy this game. Althogh a tony hawk game would be better for ds. But if you look at the franchise history I would say this game is good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Way different then comercials This game is way different then the commercial! In the commercial it shows that the game has awesome graphics and that crap. But in the game the graphics are definitely very weak and there are only like 4 songs to choose from. But the game is very fun though. The only bad thing when your skating is that you can not get off of your skateboard. There are a lot of pro skateboarders that you are familiar with here are some of the skateboarders: Rob Drydrek, Chris Haslam, Terry Kennedy, Danny Way, Mike Carrol, Lucas Puig, Eric Koston, Jake Brown. This game also has a ton of mega ramps that will send you flyin really far. Like in DannyWays mega park you ride down a huge ramp and then you fly straight up when you hit the kicker and you can pull a ton of grabs and tricks in mid-air. If you are a person who really likes skateboarding games and likes playing on a hand held system then this is the right game for you.
