Was not happy
I just wanted to say that this game was not what I thought it would be. It is way to small and even with my glasses I still had a hard time. I waited a long time to get this is in the mail, so I was really excited to finally get it. What a big let down. If it wasn't for the small letters it would be a great game. So right now I am just playing my card games. Not worth the money! I am hoping in the future they can come up with this game but a little bigger. Also the controls are hard you have to get it just right or it doesn't work right. I've played this game about 4 times its just to small to work with. In my eyes this game is good and fun but it comes back to being to small to even see some of the words. My sister was going to purchase this game & told her save her money.
Puzzling fun comes alive
Wow, finally a product that does exactly what it says on the box, but delivers more through some fantastic game-play modes from competing against what appears to be the puzzler - basically against the timer, but one that appears to be a realistic time level for completion. Through to simply puzzle, where you simply select the level and your favourite puzzle for a chill out no pressure/timer mode, to quick blast mode. My personal favourite is 'Quick Blast', where you have to work through a range of puzzles as fasty as you can! However, the clever part is that you do not have to fully complete each puzzle grid, but only the missing clues/words within a range of small puzzles/grids. Example might be a wordsearch that has a word list of 8 words, but 6 have already been found, leaving you to find the other 2 as quickly as you can. After correctly completing a round of various mini puzzles from crossword, wordsearch, fitword and sudoku - You can unlock new mini puzzles. Once I had mastered the game-play and established how you pick up a word and drop into the grid, I particularly enjoyed fitword - A simple puzzle grid where you pick up a word from a word list and then have tio correctly place the word into the grid, but be warned, you do have to concentrate to make sure a word that you are about to place intersects with any previously placed words! Another nice feature is the random 'Spell outs' which appear randomly at the end of crossword and fitword puzzles - Basically anagrams to be solved for additional points. As with all new games, there are some minor niggles, such as words can be difficult to select within a word list due to sitting too close togeather, and words highlighted within a wordsearch grid need a little more boldness, but nothing that really detracts from the overall fun of the game. I have enjoyed this game so much that I have now placed an order for the PSP version, as I am sure the graphics will be even better on the PSP. Another point worth making is the fact that the two DS screens have been well used, with a sense of real justification of use, and not just for the sake of simply making use of the additional screen like many other games on the market - Something that personnaly frustrates me. In summary - You will not be disappointed if you buy this, and would be a great addition to any Brain Trainer games, puzzle fanatics, or casual players - I really can see myself playing this game a lot due to the various game-modes and levels of puzzle difficulty.
