by TheManMan Why woudn't you buy it?
I would reccomend this game to ANYBODY. I already owned the first Mystery Dungeon game (Red Rescue Team), and I thought that was awesome. There are so many hidden features in this game that it makes you want to play it all day.

Wow! This game was great. I thought the game was going to be horrible, but I bought it because I was bored! WOW, I WAS WRONG! I played it like 7-9 hours straight! The music is amazing and really goes with what is happening! The storyline is amazing, i almost cried at the end when... well you will find out. I never thought a pokemon game could have such a great storyline. I'm glad they really didn't make it 3D because it would just look messed up! It is actually very long if you don't use an action replay. It took me around 9 hours. And after you finish/beat the game, you can go on and do other exciting adventures and go against new bosses. The controls are great. I suggest you use the D-Pad, because it would be hard using the stylus. It is actually fairly challenging to defeat the bosses like groudon, Diagla, grovile, and much more. I would suggest you leave this computer and go buy this game NOW! I just got off the game to tell how great it was and am going to go and play it right after this.

Last May, by some convincing of a friend, I picked up my copy of pokemon pearl and was introduced to one of my currently favorite franchises. I deeply enjoyed the addictive gameplay and am convinced that PMD: Explorers of Time will be the same. The thing that got me hooked is the free book that came with my preorder. The book is very interesting and is worth preordering yours today even though the game comes out in days. The graphics may seem questionable to some, but I think that it's very professional and makes the game look better than it would with fancy graphics. The game also has a personality quiz when you begin the game to configure which pokemon best fits your own characteristics. Then you choose your partner who will be with you as you begin an exploration team for the Guild. And then, you begin your adventure which is said to have a magnificent storyline. It's time to whip out my DS once this masterpiece hits American shores.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Revlis The Ultimate Pokemon Spinoff
They have made many pokemon spinoffs in the past, from Pokemon Stadium to Pokemon Ranger. This game, however, is unique. First off, the music is great. Whoever made the music for this game did a great job. The music compliments what is going on throughout the game, and it is enjoyable as you venture through dungeons. Secondly, the characters in this game are perfect. They have their own special personality that makes you respect each one for who they are. Also the battle technique used in this game is flawless. no more running through grass to find pokemon. And finally the storyline is amazing. It takes you on this adventure that will make you wonder what will happen next. There are many twists and unexpecting turns of events that leads to a very good ending. This game actually makes me excited for future pokemon mystery dungeons. Hopefully they won't make me wait long. ;p Oh and one more thing: if you do get this game only get one, because all three of these explorers of time/darkness/sky are the exact same storyline, just a few tiny differences.
Rated 10 out of 10 by DivineN Holy Guacamole! This game RAWKS!
Ok, I buy this game a couple of days after it comes out. I have pokemon pearl and fire red and loved them both. But the second I started the test... i fell in love with it. The questions are great and fun to answer and once you get your pokemon, you're like, "Wow, i really am a Pikachu!" or any of the other 14 pokemon starters. and then you get to pick your partner. and no matter what gender, type or pokemon it is. it perfectly fits the personality. and when you start the game, it's so cute and fun. and when you meet everyone in wigglytuff's guild, you feel like they are your real friends. the music is great too. i recommend this game 110%! Bosses are fun, levels are challenging. and after you beat it. there are still billions of things to do! When i got this game, i played it for seven hours straight.! If you like pokemon, get this game. If you don't like pokemon, get this game.
Rated 10 out of 10 by SasuNaruLover99 Fun! Fun! Fun!
Each of the Pokemon games we all know are usually spin offs of all the others with different Pokemon. But that's not always true. Each has a unique story line. I believe that all of the Mystery Dungeon games are amazing! There are lots and lots of Pokemon you can battle, you can go on bunches of quests/missions, you can find rare treasures and either A: keep them, B sell them, or C: put em' in storage. I love this game! It does get harder, but the more you play, the better you get. Anyone can easily learn how to play Mystery Dungeon. Being able to hear Pikachu actually talk is rad! I love the fact that it is a fun/long RPG game. SO THE FUN LASTS! I highly suggest that you play this game :D POKEMON FANS UNITE! :3
Rated 10 out of 10 by pokemon addict Awesome Game
The first mystery dungeon was fun and exciting but it doesn't come close to the sequel. The game is much longer and there is more to do than just doing rescue missions. There are now Wanted Criminals that you may hunt down and earn rewards such as items or money. If you are lucky enough you may just happen to have that Pokemon client ask to join your rescue team or you may even receive an egg that will be looked after by Chansey until it hatches. The storyline continues even after you have completed the game and passed through the credits. There are more Pokemon to discover and even more dungeons than you can imagine. Pokemon square has been expanded for even more fun and some of the characters from the first game have reappeared and some have been replaced. This game is a nice break from the regular catch em all series and can supply hours of enjoyment.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Daisuke - Th3 As1an Gam3r Pokemon is so good it made Yu-Gi-Oh look bad.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time is so good I must bluntly admit ; It made Yu-Gi-Oh look bad. Explorers of Time was released with Explorers of Darkness both Mystery Dungeon games. It's a fun adventureous game whereas you, the human has been sucked through a portal which brought you into the world of Pokemon. And that's not all .. You are A POKEMON. Weird? Well not yet. I'll give you a plot overview. You're a human who had a partner named Grovyle(Pokemon). You two together orignated from the other world or .. the FUTURE. You were on the verge of stopping the world from paralysis, or in other words: Time Stopping. You've been sent to the Pokemon world where you lose all your memories and befriend a Pokemon and venture through dungeons looking for time gears. An Item(s) that can make time flow again. You soon in the game meet up with Grovyle your long lost partner who you finally meet, and is introduced as a villian supposedly "stealing" time gears. Well remember, you and him were partners stopping destruction. After collecting the time gears and defeating Dialga well .. I can say no more. 10/10. Great game.
Rated 9 out of 10 by GreenFire65 Awesome!
This is one of my favorite games I have! I'm not a big pokemon fan, but this game stands out. I played the game twice, and the second time, I had completely different partners and such. This game is great for Pokemon and/or RPG fans. I had a little trouble at some parts in the game, but after a little training I kept on playing. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time is a must-have for any fan of Role-playing games. The music is impressive, the storyline is intense and full of twists and turns, the only annoying part is moving in a dungeon. Sometimes it's hard for the game too read that you're pushing two buttons (say up and left) to move diagonally. But besides that it really is a great game. So, all in all Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time is an amazing game and is a great sequel to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue/Red Rescue Team.
Rated 10 out of 10 by poke fanatic AWSOME GAME!!!!!
First of all, I thought it was an AWSOME game. It was really challenging for me. Anyone who likes pokemon should buy this game. The graphics are better than the first series. It is pretty much the same controls that they had in the first games, but it uses the touch screen too. If you aren't into pokemon you might not like it so much, but if your a pokemon fanatic you should get it. If you buy this game you WILL NOT REGRET IT. Downside is it takes you forever on some dungeouns, but its not that big a deal really. You MIGHT get mad at it sometimes. The storyline is excellent, but the boss battle at the end isnt much different: you meet some legendary(not telling but pretty obvious) and it thinks your an enemy. Then your partner trys to explain but legendary doesnt listen. Same basic stuff. Other than that, AWSOME GAME!!!!!
