by Shekath Good, yes. Best, no
It starts out giving you a new plant a round... but you can only acsess Most mini games after you beat it. After you beat it... you get a zen garden (a garden where you get money). Foggy levels are annoying... and your way you plant plants changes when it's night. Annoying, yes. worth beating, defenentily. But beacuse of it's low price... you should buy it.

When i purchased this game i didnt expect too much because games for the ds dont compare to what you can do on the pc. But i loved the pc version so i decided to give this a try since i bring my ds everywhere. Im really glad i purchased this game! Its really awesome and a great way to pass some time if you have to wait, or just need something to occupy your mind for a little bit. This has to be one of my favorite games for the pc, and now its one for the ds. My only complaint is it can be a little tricky playing on the ds/ds lite's because the screen is tiny and its hard to click and drag your flowers and plants when you are pressed for time, i.e, a huge wave of zombies ^_^ I often find myself accidently placing a flower or plant in the wrong row. But thats not a knock on the game at all, highly rec!

I bought this game about a year ago. I had heard about Plants vs. Zombies for a while so I decided to try it out for myself. I have to say that I was very surprised! This game is so much fun. It has so many things to do that I am STILL playing it, trying to beat all the mini-games and puzzles as well as Survival Mode and Adventure mode (2nd round with a harder difficulty). Not to mention trying to get all the plants for my Zen Garden and growing my wisdom tree all the way. I can clearly see why everyone raved about this game! Highly recommended to anyone looking to have some "defend the castle" style fun.

Plants vs. zombies on the Nintendo DS is really great! It has an awesome adventure mode and when you beat adventure you can play survival mode. It has zombatar where you can create your own zombie! You can buy twinkiedinkies out of Crazy Dave's shop. You can unlock the suburban almanac, that is where you can view all the plants and zombies you've unlocked and encountered. It has great mini games and you can play DS wireless play or DS download play. There is also some achievements to unlock as well. I haven't beaten the game yet but it is really awesome so far! I recommend this game to everyone! It is really Awesome!!

I bought this game the same day it came out and I havent regretted it since! This game is AWESOME, you'll be playing it for days! It took me a few weeks to beat this game. I still havent lost intrest in the game, even after buying it in January of 2011!
If you're at all familiar with the computer verson, its much like that. But with slightly less graphics. However! while the graphics arnt as good as the computer version, its still REALLY good for a DS. I was REALLY impressed when I saw the game.
I would buy this game over again if had to, and now that the price is lowered, how can you not buy this game?

This tower defense game is the best I've ever played. It's like the PC Game of The Year edition in your pocket! You could play as zombies on Vs mode, you could even make your own zombatar which is amazing! There is tons of replay value because on every level you need your own strategy! I recommend this to everyone, it is E10+ because sometimes zombies arms and heads fall out but its cartoony though, so it wouldn't be violent, after all its just PLANTS!If you have a ds, get this, its a total BUY!!!! :))
Rated 10 out of 10 by ultraprime perfect if u like a challenge
when i seen this game on gamestop.com i said to myself ima get this game but i thoght the grafics would be horrible so i had to think this through. so i bought it yesterday and started playin it immediately it was awsome the grafics look just like the pc version, game itself is almost exactley the same as the pc version. i think its better than the pc because u get to use all the plants u get without paying for them like pc, and theres the versus mode which is pretty fun plus its portable. :P

Its plants vs Zombies on DS, really it comes down to what system you like the best. Of course there is a visual downgrade on the DS but really the gameplay/ appeal of the game has nothing to do with graphics. Its also available on xbox 360, pc and mac, iphone/ ipod touch and ipad, so just get it where ever you like. oh and Dear Pop Cap games, Where is the PSP version? huh you xbox, pc, mac, ipod/ ipad fanboys! ;-)

I just picked this up when they cut the price down to $12 and I have to say, this is one of the best games to own on DS! It has constantly replayable and is easy to get into. Its a strategy game that almost any age can enjoy! The only con with the game is that the framerate will take a dive when theres MANY things on the screen, but that is a rare occasion. Other than that this game is perfect for the DS! Love it!

I can't stop playing this game. I have beat adventure mode 12 times so far and beat all the extra puzzles. At this point in a normal game I would have long since traded it in. So far I have managed to go about 2 days without playing this game since I bought it. Each level plays out differently every time. It's part strategy and part crisis management. This is my all-time favorite DS game.
